I also watched the game show "Thiruvalar Thirumathi" and in the arguement skit, I felt though part of it may be spontaneous reaction, some part might have been planned before by the participants so as to give a biggger impact.

I was also horrified by the scenes of slapping/spectacles falling in above show but this is being put up by sun tv as an "entertainment" and only self censorship by sun tv can stop such things from being aired.

In India, women's activists groups will make a big noise if for example actress Kushboo makes an innocent statement but they don't bother to look at these things!!

i was watching kasturi today and there that egostical ram, is raising his hands against kasturi, disgusting, and as long as people like kasturi are there, ram's will walk around, like ravans, we need more of revathys' than thulasi or kasturi's around

update for episode 58:
ashok walks in and tells anjali to tell her mum..she says it was an accident. ashok says in order for that to be done on purpose, anjali must have done something bad like talk to another man. after mum leaves, ashok starts acting like a psycho again and checks the biryani to make sure theres no letter from raja there.

sundaram is in chennai, following jeeva and and supriya. jeeva realises so they act like they dont know each other and jeeva 'shouts' at her and walks off.

sundaram goes back and tells ashok he couldnt find anything suspicious about jeeva. ashok says he will look after things now.

asjok apologises to anjali and says i dont want you to even think about raja. she says what if i remember raja every time i look at this scar? he gets mad and strangles her until his dad comes and stops it. anjali runs off and chak starts shouting at ashok saying that we need to write the property to her name first, why are you behaving like this. father and son argue.

all this is heard by anjali and maya. maya is hurt by everything that is happening to anjali. she asks anjali to go, she says my husband died because of me, i dont want you to die as well. anjali refuses, she says i will die here if i am meant to die but i wont leave you.
she also says she's safe until everything is written to her name, and then transferred to them. maya says she has a feeling someone will die.

chak is talking to that saamy. the saamy says a woman is going to die. because of you, a woman will die.

(we all know its not gonna be anjali, i reckon it will be maya which is a pity, cos i really want raja to have the family he never had 😭 )

Thanks brinny. I watched this episode too. This Ashok really behaves likea psycho. Like you I don't want Maya to die. Let's wait and see what happens.

Yeah, it looks to me also that maya might be the victim

They may find that she is faking about being in wheel chair and punish her perhaps. And for all that Raja may be the person to take revenge on behalf of his father/mother!!

Exactly, Dasa. I doubt if any group will protest, because of SunTV's political involvement.

The hate rally against Kushboo was so politically motivated, I felt so bad for her that she had to go thro all that, just for speaking her mind on 'that issue'.

The more I read about Ashok's psycho character, the more I'm relieved that I'm just reading updates and happy to have missed the episodes.
Like you all, I wouldn't want Maya to die, but I have a feeling that these people think at some point that they killed Anjali (whether or not she is actually dead). I remember from the trailer before the show was aired, Prajin is standing in front of a noose in a prison attire saying repeatedly "I didn't kill Anjali". Do any of you remember that?
