RanVeer Drabble: You Are Mine!
Veer looked stunned as he saw Rani running towards Birju.
'How dare she? Doesn't she know that she is Veer Pratap Singh Rajawat's Rani?' The thought flashed in his mind but at the same time another thought came too
'Do you know that she is your wife and not some punching bag whom you could blame for everything and vent your anger!' he himself got shocked at the sudden realisation but that was short lived as he glared at Birju who was not even a bit hesitant to hold his wife in his arms.
"Rani what happened? Why are you crying? I told you already that these big people have no mercy and this isn't a right place for you to be! " He said breaking the hug and wiping her tears with his hands, adding more to Veer's anger.
"And who gave you the right to decide that Birju? " Veer asked and walked towards the two of them.
"You don't interfere in our friendship doctor Saab! " Rani said turning towards Veer.
"Rani, I know you are angry at me but for the wrong reasons! Please accept that it was your fault and we will move on! " Veer almost softly said as if his life depended on it.
"Really? You are forcing her to accept something which she didn't do! " Birju intervened.
"You don't know anything about the matter so don't interfere moreover it's our family matter so don't even try !" Veer reasoned with a threat in the end.
"You are right, i don't know anything but her tears are enough to tell me that she is not the one at fault in whatever family matter you have! " Birju air quoted it and veer went speechless as for the first time he was right, right about the fact that Rani's tears don't come out this easily, she was too strong to be a damsel in distress and if she is crying then there must be something really wrong.
"Rani tell me! What happened? " Veer choked out as he feared that he made a grave mistake by not trusting her enough.
"Why should I say anything when you will make the decision for me anyway! You don't trust me, your words are a big lie Mr. Rajawat!" She spotted remembering the flash of his ' I trust you ' came in her mind.
"Rani you are calling me Mr. Rajawat?" Veer asked in a bit confused tone.
"At least I have maintained respect in words unlike you!" She retorted.
He have had enough of her being in birju's arms now, so with one swift motion he pulled her back to where she belonged that is his arms.
"Now what were you saying? I was a bit distracted! Now my concentration is back. " He said with all honesty looking at her eyes.
"I respect.. " She stuttered as once his doe shaped eyes looked into her's everything else blurred and what mattered was them in each other's arms.
"I will say two things Rani only once so don't make me repeat them! " He stated looking into her eyes.
"First, you should not speak like that with your husband! This should be the first and last time I am leaving you for addressing me Mr. Rajawat, next time I won't ! " He said to which she glared at him and tried to wriggle out of his arms but we all know who is more physically stronger here.
"Second, you are not allowed to go near any other man except me! You are mine! " He said in an utter jealousy making her look at him as if he was crazy. Though he ignored her look.
"Got it? " He asked.
She slightly nodded her head.
