Rahi is welcomed into Kothari mansion with Griha Pravesh rituals . She is carried in his arms by Prem and they enter their room. Rahi is in awe as she looks around his room and is impressed by the opulence .
At shah house , Anupama is very upset and talks to Anuj and misses Rahi . She is in tears . Baa comes and calms her n consoles her . Anupama calls Rahi asks her about her well being . Rahi reassures her mother . Moti baa hates the fact Anupama is still controlling Rahi , she decides to break this Anupama's interference in Kothari mansion, she politely takes Rahi’s mobile and sweetly asks Anupama not to call Rahi as she is busy with the rituals . Anupama agrees , Moti baa rudely cuts the call. Anupama feels bad .
Prem then gifts her a saree and a framed picture with collage of Anupama and Shah family . Rahi loves it n places it prominently in the room. She then discovers her mother’s sweets packed in a tiffin box . She misses her mother n eats some .
Moti baa is seen watching Rahi n Prem secretly from the door . She feels jealous and angry as Prem showers her with so much love n affection and tenderness . They both make prominences and assurances to each other . Moti baa feels very angry .
She then makes an entry and gifts her a very expensive diamond necklace n earring set , Rahi is hesitant to accept it as it’s nightly expensive. Prem whispers that Parag Kothari was always I to showoffism . Moti baa tells Rahi that she is the bahu of Kotharis and she has to look like it . She notices the sweets and asks Rahi about it . She gets annoyed that Anupama felt Rahi would not get enough to eat at Kothari mansion. Prem defends Rahi by saying Rahi was missing he r mother’s love and hence ate sweets sent by her . Prem eats a few sweets and enjoys .
She then asks Rahi to accompany her for rest of the rituals .
moti baa takes Rahi to her own bedroom and there she schools Rahi about . how to behave as bahu in Kothari mansion .Moti baa reprimands Anupama and Rahi for insulting their damaad ji. Rahi protests as Moti baa defends damaad fiercely.
Prem arrives and Moti baa stops , Prem is annoyed by Moti baa’s rudeness .
