Prem, Rahi and Mahi

Is it just me or the actress playing Rahi is very annoying? I don’t know if it’s actress or the grown character of Rahi who’s annoying or may be it’s the combination of both the actress and the character Rahi. DKP should’ve taken a better actress for such an important role who’s supposed to be the new FL. The crazy part is Prem and Rahi have a very weak chemistry. Instead, he has a much better chemistry with Mahi. The actress playing Mahi is also very expressive and has a strong screen presence, all of which Rahi actress lack. I wish Mahi actress or another better actress played the role of Rahi.

So unfair DPK took such a poor actress for the role of adult Aadhya. I loved Choti Anu or Aadhya, but this Rahi is so misplaced. I don’t feel for her 😪 I think there’s still a time. DKP/Shahi should do something about this now rather than later as obviously Prem & Rahi have not been accepted by the audience seeing how trps have not just been the same but also now fallen. It’s because the actress is poor and Prem and the actress Rahi lack chemistry. Get a better actress for Rahi and someone who actually has chemistry with Prem actor.

None of the new characters generate curiosity. I think it's more, bad writing than the actors themselves.

Each character is confined to a fixed expression. Whether it is Rahi, Prem or Mahi.

The incessant need to ensure the story does Not overshadow the titular, leads to "down playing" every other character making it weak.

Agreed it's baffling because DKP is good at casting female leads.The only reason rishta gen4 worked this long (although I stopped watching it long ago) despite all the changes is samriddhi which shows how the importance FL casting is. I think they should pair Prem and mahi and write off Raahi's character which feels useless anyway. Mahi is also more of a traditional FL like anupama.They could show Prem Falling for mahi after marriage. Will make for far more interesting story than current plot

I saw Anupama’s episode after a long time. I saw the yesterday’s one. The precap for todays episode where Mahi and Prem were shown had more chemistry than the entire episode of what I saw of Prem Rahi.

I have a doubt. Mahi is 8-10 years younger than Rahi. This means Prem, who is presumably a new male lead, should be around the same age as Rahi or maybe 2-3 years older. How are the makers showing Mahi falling for the same guy who is supposed to be Rahi's partner? If I were in her place, I would have considered him bhaiya.

I am not trying to moral police, but DKP should have kept this in mind, jab dono ladkiyo ke age mei itna difference hai toh dono log ek ladke liye kaise fall kar sakte hain.

On a side note, why do I feel that this entire storyline is similar to Akshara's daughter Naira’s arc? She also ran away from home thinking her mom will get her arrested by the police. Then she ended up in some ashram in Rishikesh and, after a few years she returns home, hating her mother. Later, a male lead helped them to reconcile .

stop bashing rahi. I actually think she decent character and they actress playing her. she much better then mahi. Mahi just annoying insecure character and jealous and cling actor who only think about herself. Rahi show pain, mature, sensitive and something about her is cute and she has that swag like Anuj did when first came. I like her she the best choti, adhaya actress they show. from the new generation I love her and ansh the best. I hate mahi and the actress who playing her she so annoying. Prem ok, Pari I like her she sensible and ishani is annoying to.

Anyways adopted or biological, a battmeej will always be called a battmeej. Pakhi , toshu and adhya are ungrateful and highly battmeej aulads of anupama. They turned out battmeej because anupama instead of giving tight slaps gave loose bhashans. Anupama deserves all this because she didn't gave adhya a high five on her face. I loved devika for this....

How are Adhya, Pakhi, Paritosh similar? Other than being associated to Anupama?

Why exactly does Adhya deserve to be reprimanded that too by Anupama of ALL people?

Who exactly is Devika to overstep her boundaries and reprimand her? Oh by the by, she was supposed to "look after" Adhya in Anuj's absence, right? Firstly, she overstepped her boundaries that too, in US where it is a punishable offence Secondly, her neglect resulted in Adhya landing in danger. Infact, Devika should have been punished for it. Surprising how neither Anuj or Anupama questioned her and held her for it.

What exactly is Adhya supposed to be "grateful" to Anupama for?

For the lifetime of trauma that she was gifted in the one year that she was adopted by Anuj-Anupama, of which, she was abused by the her mother's pseudo maykewale, incessantly neglected by her mother so much that she (the mother) was not even aware of her panic attacks and abandonment issues and despite lear Iearning about it, was continually neglected, who was tossed around and even played a bet on, her pleas for her presence was ignored and finally her worst fears turning true due to her mother's abandonment without a say or for never assuring her that the mother would stand by her come what may?

Also, what is the badtameezi that she has shown that is unjustified?

What did the mother do to protect her adopted children from abuse? Be it Bhairavi, Maahi or Adhya.

Even now when Leela subjects Raahi and Maahi to taunts, verbal diarrhoea and Shahs' plotting and schemes to sabotage them, what is the Maa Hn Ne doing to protect them and ensure they do Not ever face such a thing?

None trusts Anupama when it comes to Shahs so, they have to stand up for themselves. Atleast Adhya doesn't. Realisation dawned on Anuj too but he was a "dil ke haathon majboor". If that comes across as badtameezi, then it is the right kind of badtameezi. Isn't it?
