Anupamaa: Anupama slaps Pakhi and makes her apologise, but fails to do the same with Rahi

Star Plus’ Anupamaa is currently focusing on two main tracks — the upcoming dance face-off between Rahi and Anupama’s team in the grand finale, and the wedding of Ansh and Prarthana. The competition has high stakes, as the losing side will have to apologise by rubbing their nose on the ground, adding extra tension to the rivalry. At the same time, the wedding festivities are keeping the mood lively. However, the mehendi and sangeet celebrations take an unexpected turn when Pakhi, Rahi, and Paritosh accuse Sarita of stealing Prarthana’s diamond necklace. The truth later comes out, proving Sarita innocent, but the humiliation leaves Preet upset. Unable to tolerate the situation, she decides to leave Anupama’s house along with all the Chawl women.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Anupama and Pakhi get into a serious argument where Pakhi admits she cannot stand the Chawl women, expressing that she dislikes them, feels hatred towards them, and even feels disgusted by them. Hearing this, Anupama loses control and slaps Pakhi.

Anupama then, in anger, tells her that daughters like her, who live in well-kept houses doing manicures and sitting idle, are able to live this way because of the women she looks down upon. She says she has seen these women’s lives closely, which is why, in her view, Pakhi does not even compare to the dust on their shoes.

Without wasting time, Anupama orders Pakhi to touch the feet of Sarita and the others and apologise. She drags her in front of them and forces her to say sorry. Although Pakhi does apologise, it is clear she is not sincere. Anupama then turns her attention to Rahi, grabbing her hand and bringing her forward as well. Rahi asks what she has done. Anupama explains that if Pakhi’s actions lit the spark, then Rahi’s actions poured ghee on that fire. Sarita tries to calm Anupama down and tells her to let it go, but Anupama refuses, insisting that Rahi must apologise too. Rahi, however, raises her voice and firmly declares that she will not apologise, leaving everyone stunned.
