Maaya, Shruti would each have given her a peaceful, sane upbringing. Her temper, restlessness is reflective of the turbulent life she was subject to thanks to mainly Onupama and Anuj.

I'm not sure about Maya. She started off as a good character. But they degraded her to a point where she was ready to use her child to get a married man. However, Shruti would have been an excellent mother to Rahi. She would have given her all the love she deserved and made sure the child grew up with the right values. And if not that, Rahi would have been even happy at the ashram. She would have grown-up to be a strong independent woman. But thanks to UpMaaa, all she ever got was pain, abandonment and lifelong trauma.
