There was a lady "Viji Raj" in MasterChef India season 6 ... she is from Tamil Nadu, a homecook who used to cook/offer maid services ... Hindi is not a predominant language in Chennai, they dont learn Hindi in schools either ... at least from what I have heard ... she spoke in whatever Hindi she knew and there were times when she said she doesn't know what it is called in Hindi and the judges tried to understand the language she spoke ... in cases when she couldn't name something, she was asked to describe it in her words and there was one time, she went to an elimination round only because she didn't know what it was called in Hindi ... it was fair at least according to me because she was given many chances in different ways and since it was a Hindi show, she had to oblige by the rules

in Season 7, there was again another lady "Aruna Vijay" basically from Gujrat, but raised in Tamil nadu who cooked ONLY vegetarian ... there was one challenge with eggs and she had to use immunity pin to stay out of that challenge ... and a few other times, she was allowed to pick a different protein instead of meat ... and this was a topic of discussion and judges were criticized for doing this on Twitter

but mind you, this wont happen in international competitions ... at least not something I have heard of

we all know what can happen in Onupamaa world ... she will give long bhashan overcome both scenarios and judges will smile, look at one another and hand over the trophy to her, and her broken hand will heal instantly, and a a a aaaa aaaaa anupamaa will play on the background

Jo Orat din raat bass khana hi banati rehti thi apne saas sasur ke liye, apne pati ke liye, apne bachchon ke liye….wo kisi bhi compitison mein hissa le sakti hey, kisi bhi chellenge ke liye…Su Suri Suri….woman…who cooks day night phor mother in low, phather in low, husbend, children, she can phace any chellenge, any compitison!

Mother ijj always ready phor any chellenge, any compitison!

Judge 1 - What about the language barrier? You don’t understand us, we don’t understand you?

Maa - Sir in this show lenguege not Hindi, Gujrati, Englis…No…

She is ChaaluPama, Yashdeep ab isse kuch kaam karne nahi dega restaurant mein, aur salary fir bhi dega (waise bhi zyada kuch karti nahi thi), judges ko impress karegi ulte haath se cook karke, aur TRP aunties royengi bechari ko aise kaam karte dekh ek haath se!
