If Anupama's kids were minors and Vanraj had married Kavya, the kids' custody be given to Shahs, would Anupama have no responsibilities towards her kids? So, she would not visit them take care of them, for years, right? Because, How will she fulfill the responsibility if she does not have custody, correct?

Now coming to, Anupama and Anuj divorce. Aadhya was a minor and hence Anuj got her custody. Does that mean Anupama dump the responsibilities on him and forsake her for 5 years? She could have done the same, "meet her kid once a week". Just like she was going to Shah House to take care of, (as you mentioned,) adult, married kids. She did not do that, right?

Regarding divorce any kid after 18 years court does not decide who they stay with custody etc as they are adult and independent

So toshu and samar were in mid 20s why will court decide their custody? They will say stay whomever you want with they o not care.

Pakhi was 18 plus too when anupama married anuj (because anuj married to anupama for 3 years and than 5 years divorce, 8 years back if now pakhi is 30 plus that means 8 years back when anuj married anupama she was already 22 plus )

Court will not decide for adult kids above 18 years they can live as they wish with whomever
