Here I am still trying to figure why Anuj would let go of his self-esteem like this when he has every point going in HIS favor in their last arguments 5 yrs back.

I am sticking to this show just to see where does Anuj end ? Cant believe a man can be this pathetic and without an iota of self-respect ! The day he moves on is when I move on too. AnupaMAA with her Shahs can live HEA I dont care.

There is no happily ever after for Maa, she loves her sed lyphe with Shahs and loves to spread that sedness in everyone’s lyphe

Her eyes filled with tears of love when Mishter Shah was telling Pari how she is his first grandchild and her father is their first child, first child and grandchild are the most loved ones!
Pari was saying she is so happy seeing her Dada Dadi here.

I don’t get it, this man accused you so much, humiliated badly and threw her out, banned her from Mohalla and she is smiling sitting with him under the same roof, calls his mother as her Maa and they all are reminiscing the old days.

And the ones who truly cared for her, craved for her love, stood by her in all good bad times, she is treating them so badly as if they blackmailed her to leave their life, not an ounce of guilt or realisation of her sins?
And she is the lead of the show, such a joke of a woman.

Sad situation

But in real life i know PHDs, BE, MBAs, business man all acting subservient to wife and wife family and treating own parents and siblings family like filth too. Usually this happens if wife family is more rich than hubby or more powerful family. Also in todays society its to succeed and become rich at any cost so stamp on family or kick them off after using them as ladder by kids usually like anuj did to kapadiyas

And in india i see kids are more close to wife(mother) family not dad family in last 20-30 years unlike before where kids were close to father parents and siblings family

First things people are taught big big degrees easily but are not morals or self respect or values by school or college and even by family

Nowadays parents and siblings do not have much influence on kids its all friends and competition to go high in life at any cost. People leave to get educated to diff city or country and live in hostel after 10th std. People spend 14 hours in office and have no bonding with family parents or siblings. They are just used as ladders to sponsor their education and hostel fees or foreign educations and than its like you are a stranger once in 3 years or during some wedding they will come few days. There is no family bond like our parents generation between parents and siblings too. Many do not even attend parents funerals or sibling funerals nowadays if they stay in other country or city as work important not family.

But usually anuj is US educated and millionaire while anupama has no millionaire father or is educated or loyal so surprising hes behaving so subservient without self respect with her and shahs

Anupama's reactions to Leela's arrival, her forgetting her surroundings, her silence to Vanraj's taunts to her employer, her meek response to her abuser.

Again, did she not say, "Mae rishton se peeche chupana chahti hn aur Pari ke liye aati hn"? Has she shifted to Paritosh-Kinjal's? I mean she cooks breakfast through dinner, feeds them and stays back.

Bhaashanpama really needed someone to give her reality checks that you cannot reduce everyone to the status of your Majnu puppy everytime you meet your Masters.

Why are we even expecting she will stand up against Baa Baa Black sheep for YD who is just paying her a normal salary when she couldn't do it for the man who paid off so many loans of her Masters.

Also AITA for being extremely happy at a particular scene expecting that it was a heart attack and we will be finally free of Majnugiri?

And her ANDHBHAKTS has the AUDACITY to say Anuj was wrong in questioning her misplaced priorities.Look at her. How she is bubbling with excitement at the sight of her abuser. Those wierd expressions, frenzied hand movements and cracking voice. Acute case of Stockholm Syndrome. I am not being sarcastic. She is clearly depicting signs of a mentally unstable person. Anuj was right when he said marriage was a hasty decision. She needs psychiatric help. Many victims who have endured long phase of abuse and harassment develop this tendency. I would laud the makers if they address this issue rather than putting her on a pedestal everytime.
