In the upcoming episodes it will be shown that Baa will be increasingly insecure of Malti Devi and Bapuji’s closeness and will vow to throw her out of the house as revenge as she’ll think that Malti is planning to steal her husband! However Bapuji will oppose as he is doing a favour for his Beti by looking after Malti and will insist on keeping her till Ganesh Chaturthi ends.
On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi everyone will be ready for the veneration which will be at Kapadia House. Malti however will refuse to visit and will stay behind at Shah House as she knew that Anuj would hate her presence. At Kapadia House Baa will realise that Bapuji has mysteriously disappeared and will make an excuse of forgetting something to go back and check if he is at Shah House.
An insecure Baa will storm into Shah House screaming Bapuji’s name and to her shock she will see Bapuji and Malti lying on her bed and will give a terrifying scream before thumping on the floor in utter shock. Malti and Bapuji will be shocked knowing that Baa caught their act and knows their hidden truth.
At Kapadia House Vanraj will notice that his parents are missing and have missed the veneration. The other members will also be confused as to why they’re absent and will all go back to Shah House including Anuj to check on them.
As to their surprise, the Shahs will be shocked to see Baa unconscious lying on the floor and Bapuji lying on the couch with his hand grabbing his heart! Anuj will call the doctor while Anupamaa, Vanraj tend to Baa, Bapuji crying in pain.
After getting checked by the doctor, Baa and Bapuji will both wake up as if they've seen a terrifying nightmare. Baa will slowly gaze at Bapuji and will shriek in horror. The family will be shocked as to why Baa is behaving like this. The family will request Bapuji to speak up however he would be too panicked to speak.
Slowly Baa will raise her voice and will scream that Bapuji deceived her by cheating on her with Malti! The family will be flabbergasted to hear this! Anupamaa, Vanraj will refuse to believe this as they have full faith that Bapuji could no such thing. However they will slowly give in due to seeing Baa’s abnormal state!
Vanraj will fume in anger at Bapuji for daring to cheat on his Baa with a despicable woman like Malti Devi and will break all ties with him. Anupamaa will be heartbroken and will ask ‘why.’ Rest of the Shah’s will also be upset at Bapuji for doing such an atrocious act!
Suddenly, Baa will get up and will demand Bapuji and Malti to get out of her house as she doesn’t want to live with cheaters! Baa will viciously grab Malti Devi’s arm and will drag her out of the house. She will then ask Bapuji to leave the house with her however Anupamaa will refuse as Bapuji is her father as well as a senior citizen with health problems.
Vanraj on the other hand will side with his Baa and will tell Bapuji to get out of the house as he doesn’t want inhumane cheaters living in his property.
Promptly, Bapuji will ready to leave for the sake of Baa, Vanraj and his family’s happiness. However on the way out he will suffer a heart attack and will fall on the floor wailing in pain. Anupamaa will not bear to see her Bapuji in such a state and will decide to take him and Malti to Kapadia House out of humanity.
Before Anupamaa leaves she will promise Baa that although Bapuji is her father, he has still committed a major sin which cannot be forgiven and will promise to help her fight for justice and will help her to embark on her new udaan just like herself and Kinjal did…
