Really disliking this apple to oranges comparison. I will state why later.

Most importantly, trauma is trauma. It is insensitive to say that I was in orphanage too, etc. etc. Everyone has their own emotional capacity. It is way too soon to say whether Romil is taking advantage of his circumstances or acting out because of him.

Now, for the comparison - an adopted child gets chosen. Romil, being an illegitimate child, got rejected. Anuj's original family was lost, he found a family with his adoptive parents. Same for Choti. Romil's family was not lost, his Mom abandoned him for her love and Dad took him home when his Mom became unavailable. Choti is a child, Romil a teen who has got uprooted. Teens are generally going through a lot of physical changes, add emotional trauma to that and the person will not behave 'normally'.

MaAn are way too forceful esp. Anuj. Not at all liking this track, there isn't any empathy just lectures, restrictions and low key bullying.

I have noticed just to justify MaAn, any extreme happens. Dimpy was going okay before the 'dushman anaaj' dialogue. Means that had that dialogue not been said, Anupama's slap couldn't have been justified. Same for Romil. Had he not sweared at Anupama, Anuj's slap could not have been justified. This really makes the serial nonsensical and unbearable to me atleast.

Can someone in this useless show please give poor Romil a break? And also since when has whataboutism ever been a sane course of debate? Every time Romil brings up his trauma Majboor Kapadia opens his stupid mouth and says so what? What about when I was a child and was abandoned too?

As if there is any comparison that can be made between whose pain and trauma is greater. Every person is different and processes emotions differently. Just because Anuj handled being abandoned well does not mean Romil can handle the same. It does not make Romil's internal turmoil inconsequential or any less important.

Since the day this boy has stepped into KM, everyone has only lectured him. Jhandupama pointlessly picks on everything he does. Anuj is like a hound waiting to pounce, Barkha and Adhik openly insult him. Ankush is about as helpful as a tissue in rain. No wonder Romil hates these people. Has anyone attempted to get his point of view? Has anyone attempted to actually hear what he has to say instead of shoving their respective viewpoints down his throat. (Anupama is worst of this lot because every time she interacts with Romil she appears sweet but actually is just trying to mould him into something he is not)

And then makers will of course show Romil cursing or disrespecting NonsenseMaa to justify her and her puppy's bias towards Romil.

Also for God's sake, yes we get it, he is illegitimate, but he is still a boy, who by the way did not choose to be born as an illegitimate child, stop bringing it up every ten seconds. It's insulting. First they show how flesh and blood children will always be treated better than adopted ones. Now they show how illegitimate children are constantly reminded of the fact and will never be accepted no matter what a certain sweet talking pallu wali chudail implies.

This show is an insult even by ITV standards
