Anuj is an enigma. For the life of me, I cannot understand what he saw in Anupama that he goes gaga for her. Anyone who is associated with that woman for a short time would know about her hypocrisy & narcissistic personality. She ain't a stunning beauty either. At least, not in my opinion, but it lies the eye of the beholder. In any case, I don't understand what attracted him towards her?!

Him marrying her after pursuing her for so long reminds me of the adage - "aa bail mujhe maar!" 🤪

He wanted the sound of a MAA's bhashans to always ring in his ears. To listen to Anuglish at each tame of the day and tell her that she's always right.

He wanted be consoled by her in moments of distress with the famed snotty pallu, all while listening to the tales of her Mahaanta. And simp for her at all times.

He wanted to serve a loving, caring phemli like shameless shahs, who she picks over him forever. And to share a suti sari with a middle class wife.

He wanted to give lectures like her but had no topics and so came up with his own lived experience on "How to ruin your own lyphe" 🤪

Anuj’s character could have been so powerful. He could’ve been the one to be honest with Anupama and call her out for her bs. They could have taken a stand for each other and drawn boundaries with others. They both would have been great together. But instead, MaAn has basically been ruined. They can’t even communicate properly as a mature couple. When they do talk it is indirect, vague, or lecture type convo. Nothing about them screams that they are a couple 🤣

Not only Anuj, but every single person who comes in contact with Anupama has their life ruined

Kinjal - raised by her mother to be strong and independent. Under Anupama's influence, is staying with a cheater husband, serving her cheat husband's parents and being a doormat

CA - had nothing but neglect, abuse and sadness after coming in contact with Anupama. Anupama kept neglecting her, kept taking her to abusers. Then let psycho Maya take her. Now leaving her in shock.

You have heard of Midas golden touch, Anupama has the crappy touch. She is a blackhole which sucks all happiness. There are such people in real life, full of negative energy and can spread only sadness and misery. Money or love cannot cure their nature.

We have seen Anuj only after he met Anupama at the reunion party.He was introduced to us as a jovial ,cool person. But we haven't seen his life/nature when he spent 26 years without Anupama.He might have spent his 26 years in U,S as a loner/a gloomy person like he is now .That might be the reason why G.K kaka and Mukku who were close to him wanted him to marry Anupama as they have seen his miserable life without Anupama.When he went to Mumbai leaving Anupama he was a very depressed person even after meeting CA.When Maa will be back in his life he will again become that old naughty jovial Kapadiaji❤️
