There is an idiom called “jump the shark” that refers to the point when a television show that used to be good- deceased in quality. (due to a bad story, line or something of the sort.)

I started watching the show, absolutely loving it.. assuming most of us felt this way!

What was the moment for you that the show “jumped the shark?”

for me, it was when Anuj left his house, his wife and family to follow CA to Mumbai

For me, the show has gone downhill since that moment… That really ruined Anuj’s character and ruined the #Maan Love.

I wish the Tamashahs would jump into a shark though I doubt it would be able to digest those filthy people.

For me, the first moment was the episode where they return from resort after Anu-Vanraj divorce. Bapuji’s emotional blackmail leading to her staying back in SH.

Then a sudden ray of hope was the introduction of char AK. What a beautiful char AK was when he was introduced. Developed with so much care that every intricate detail of the char was applauded. The actor added a ring of reality to the fictional char, was a breath of fresh air in the middle of so much of toxicity.

Soon, that ray of hope was doused, when Anuj’s first accident happened. All chars changed overnight after the accident. They weren’t anything like what was initially portrayed to the viewers.

Now, there is nothing remaining, it is a piece of garbage. All good things come to an end, this is no exception!

For me it was Anupamaa going back to celebrating Raksha Bandhan immediately after she was kicked out by VanLee.

Till now the maayka illusion was a coping mechanism for Anupamaa and she was in denial and I hoped that after this episode she will wake up and cut off all ties with Shahs and Anuj will actually focus on taking revenge.

But that celebration made me realize that this show will keep focusing on how Anupamaa is mahaan enough to keep coming back inspite of being insulted multiple times.

I lost faith in the feministic claims of the show that day.

Malvika admitting to falling in love with vanraj... I left the show at exactly that point...

She finds out the truth and bashes him later, but it is useless when too late.

Show is spoiled because

1 too much celebration showing each and every thing in celebration is Highly irritating

2 over crowd of character in serial ur showing daily 8,15 character in every episode jisse story ki quality ghat rahi hai

3 not dealing with main issue of show bus duniya bhar ke tamam issue pe focus kar Rahe si

4 introducing irrelevant character in show like maaya

5 as usual same fighting but what is conclusion ki sub ko ek saath ek hi roof either in Kapadia or shah ya kisi garden ya pandal ya temple mein ikkathe hona ya aur naachna Gana hai

6 most important story is not moving at all and it is dragging moreover they are not showing leap

Inke creativity bus ek Ghar se doosre Ghar jaana aur celebrate karna bus isi mein creativity story simat ke reh gayi Hai

Agree with you wholeheartedly. The show lost every trace of relatability and became nonsensical. Same with Dimpy’s transformation.
