Why is MAA so sad?

Say, you have two kids of whom one is sick, so your husband requests you to take care of the sick kid while he accompanies the healthy child to a picnic. Is this something to be upset over? Is not this the only logical solution to this problem? Then why is MAA behaving as if someone is ripping out her heart? Why is she finding it hard to breathe and eat? She is literally walking like a zombie and venting her frustrations on her sick child. Just a few days ago, CA went to a farmhouse with no parents. She did not bother to call her once then. But, now when she is with her parents, she is calling her every minute. They have only gone for a day, but she is behaving as if she will never see them again. I want Toshu to throw her out once he has recovered and Kapadia Ji to close the door in her face. Then she can live on Pakhi special footpath. That's the place this shitty MAA truly belongs.

I am trying to be sympathetic, but I am not understanding what is she so sad about.

Ideally no one should be sad

But anupama is more scared than sad

Like i said in my post shes scared that maya is more beautiful and young and educated and accomplished professional

So shes scared anuj may fall for her

Shes also scared to lose CA to maya because than anuj will also run away to US if CA may be taken away by maya

even anuj is misbehaving in picnic with all because he thinks maya is cheap so no one should misunderstand her as mrs kapadiya as its below his dignity that a prostitute is being linked to him

Aisha, You know very well, the free maid of her ex-husband's family is so, so, so much worried about her bank accounting running dry.
