People don't always "simply" criticize. We enjoyed the show initially and believe it has great potential so to see that being wasted and regressive ideas being promoted on a show branded as "progressive" warrants criticism and a strong one at that. There are valid issues everyone has with the CVs, their incomplete storylines and bad progression of characters on their show.

This track COULD be a good one if they handle it sensitively and properly. If after Dimple said "a woman doesn't need a man to fight her battles", they show Samar falling for her immediately and supporting her through everything, they're promoting the same toxic ideals. Same thing happened with Anupama, with Anuj's entry and her life being made easy, than showing her fighting on her own and making a name for herself and THEN maybe Anuj could have made an entry. So saying and criticising valid things hopefully makes the CVs churn out better storylines and people should do it.

I agree. Any work that is being presented or showcased is bound to face some criticism eventually. And people did appreciate this show in the beginning when Anupama was shown to actually have some self respect and work towards a better life. Even when they introduced Anuj the show was good. He was a refreshing character who complemented the main lead well.

But it has been in a decline for a while. Now instead of being relatable, Anupama is unrealistic and frankly annoying at times. Rape is such a sensitive topic. Recovery after such trauma is an even more sensitive topic. Especially in our society where even today there are people who blame the victim rather than the perpetrators.

I'm worried CVs don't have the calibre to handle this well. They might show a track where Dimple falls in love with Samar. And there's nothing wrong with that either but I fear it's going to come at the cost of faithful portrayal of recovery. Rape Trauma Syndrome (RTS) is a serious topic and the person needs therapy. It's not optional in such cases. Love and support help but ultimately the person has to face this trauma on their own. Its a long road to recovery. There no quick way there. I highly doubt CVs are even thinking in this direction.

Instead of showing Dimple seeking therapy, slowly building her life back up again, it could become some nonsense about how Samar's love cured her or something like that. I hope they have some proper consultants behind the scenes for this track. Otherwise better to not attempt showcasing it at all.
