Though somewhere I agree with your opinion on the family track. If they are able to make anupama realise the need for boundaries, then great. Else we get to see Anuj truly being torn between love and responsibility - so basically a repeat of what we saw between holi and pre sagai.

Not even going to go into how they’ve royally ruined AK’s character and have made anupama horrible than the prequel character!

I dont want them to be negative and jump on Mother-son bandwagon. But a sensible family who knows what to say and when. But this is really too much optimism from my side. I dont want to see all those marrying a divorcee with 3 kids and grandmother's marriage wala drama again. And I dont wanna see that dilemma between family and wife wala drama also. It really sucks.

Arey devotion nahi. He is a zombie lover/follower of her. Till it was one sided it was okay not to express his feelings. But now they are going to be life partners with 100% stake in Anupama's hands. Moreover he gets panicked whenever he remembers Anupama getting married to Vanraj. Atleast makers can explore this area of the story and show his side of emotions and his fears/feelings. Or else uska dukh dard and usko ghut te huye hi dikha do. Atleast he will get the deserved screen time

I totally agree with the last paragraph, all they need is good and consistent writing of the story as a whole (and not just MaAn scene) for a few weeks and it would be back on track! But that's too much of asking.

They need to know that All dramas shouldn't be about toxicity only! Dramas can be done without that also.

About Kanyadaan: It's just my personal wish for Samar to do it! If you by the previous story, it was only him who was there with Anu unconditionally acc to his capabilities. Jitna Kar sakta tha usne sirf Anu ke lie Kiya. None of the other family members were there for her in her worst times not even Baapuji!

And if you see it through MaAn angle, Samar was the only one who made it possible (his talks after Anuj's proposal was so damn convincing and heartfelt) He's one genuine MaAn shipper since Day 1 and consistent at that! Not like Mukku, changing as per her convince!

U know you might have caught onto something there ... I don’t know if it’s “ allowed “ for younger ppl to do kanyada an , but I feel there is going to be some twist there ... Whenever they stress too much on something , like Shaadi from Shah house , usually it doesn’t happen ...It just doesn’t make sense for them to show Baa doing it after all the million baddua , even if it’s shown as emotional blackmail it won’t be good at all ...

I think at the time , Bapuji might ask Leela , she won’t do it , there will be some drama and then the kids n Kinjal might step in and say hum karenge ... Typically the kind of “ new age , revolutionary “ so called novel idea BV and makers might come up with ( though most of such ideas like the family tree mehendi are pretty lame and fall flat on their faces 🤣)

If you go by the age-old Customs and Rituals, it's 'Kanya-Daan' as in giving your beloved Kanya to someone else who can take good care of her. In olden times, the Kanya used to only have a few closer relationships like Mom-Dad, Chacha-Chachu, Mama- Mami. Her closer ones and definitely the elder ones.

The Crux being, handing over the responsibilities of her happiness, health and good future life by her closest people to someone whom they can trust her with.

Back then, There wasn't any concept of re-marriage, marriage after having children (even closer than any other relationship) or re-marriage of widows, likewise. Basically, the marriage after being mother, so that children could play any role.

As things are changing, so does this Rituals can, but not the basic idea/intention behind them.

In this particular scenario, Samar is her closest Clone (not even her other children) so why not? I don't think the age should be a barrier. It could be a good social message as well.

I feel he's the only one who deserves to hand over the responsibility of the happiness of his mother (a mom a Kanya) to Anuj whom he can trust to keep it further! (None other family members ever cared about her happiness at the first place, so they can get the right to choose the one to keep it further)

Pom pom pompy... Honestly I'm saying ab to mujhe lag rha hai shaadi kr do aur yeh show hi khatm kr ho... Yr i remember.. In March time all were excited for maan shadi.. Mee to.. But they brilliantly killed our excitement our emotions and our maan charm.. Ab toh shaadi ho yaa naa ho usse bhi mujhe koi phrk nhi pdta... Seriously... Abe yeh aise bhi koi shaadi hoti hai.. Lal sitara and even dkp no promo nothing... I don't think they r interested in this show.. They r always concerns about they baby show not this top show... Err I'm really getting frustrated yr...

Main abhi anuj shayari thread k liye shayari likh rhi this.. Very positive feel aarhi thi yr like what a character... But character ka hi to kachara kr dia hai kya kre.. Main kal tak sab shayari post kr dungi... Jaise aaj kal anuj ko bhi hum troll kr rhe hai naa.. Wo humare nazron aur gire main usse pahle ki anuj ki shayari mein bhi interest naa rhe sab post kr k show ko chodna chahti hu.... Only to remember him with good memories as a good character of itv.. The Anuj Kapadia bs...

That's a brilliant idea actually... personally kanyadaan is not something I am in favor of but from the story's point of view Samar is definitely the only deserving person to do it...I thought anu's mom should be the one but Samar makes better sense...

On side note, I am kinda hoping for the marriage to not happen before baabuji's surgery...
