I’m bit surprised about 2 things ... 1) Forget DKP why Star Plus is not giving any promos for this wedding track of “ most chahiti “ jodi , considering the kind of promotions they did at time of ITA 🤔

2) Why no redemption track has started for Baa yet ( even though personally for me she’s already reached point of no redemption) ... we had thought Bapuji heart attack would be her redemption track ... Kanyadaan to ye log Leelu se hi karayenge, Bapuji won’t do alone ..😐

They know that bawaal machega If they don’t show some sort of redemption ... 😡

Call me mad for hoping but I wish last mein Bapuji lets go of his selfish wish and asks Anu’s mom to do Kanyadaan, saying Beti pe pehle Haq Arka hai ... it will be a great social msg and FD bhi Kush hojayega..

Crackpot Bapuji will also be redeemed to some extent, he’s in strong contention for being the biggest villain in this Shaadi along with V and B ...

2 things: either the shaadi isn’t happening for now because as per BVs post, this is supposed to be sapno wali shaadi and a substandard promotion is going to cause backlash - if they were to promote this supposed “middle class gareeb wedding” or they don’t want to waste their “precious” time considering the fans are talking and giving them enough footage

Redemption track: even I’m surprised on this but maybe it is because of the new entries. Either the new entries are going to be damn negative and they will side Baa (so no need for redemption) or they will be extremely positive to make Baa realise (so delayed redemption)

On kanyadaan, in the other show, they made the brother do it (not grandparents) all alone. So here, some twist will come. Unless ofc emo blackmailing happens, they are bound to show something hatke too.

Babuji ka I can’t say tbh but I don’t think they want to redeem him either. The track has been left open to end his character but the fix would be with that, the ties from SH will break and the new charac ka story won’t fall in place. So my best guess is he will still be around and being the supposed support for her to manage 2 households and more gaaliyan (if they go down the extreme negativity track)

Also, right now, I’m hoping against hope the shaadi doesn’t happen during IPL and/or before the surgery. They have anyway ruined the festivities with zooms, post shaadi I won’t be able to bear the unnecessary torture and LDR and Anuj’s charac being butchered further.

This is their golden chance to get all audience on track. This shaadi is their last chance because if this continues like this, audience is not coming back to witness the post wedding drama. If shaadi can’t clear the negativity, nothing else can. That’s how bad the writing has gotten!!

Even now, all they need is 2 weeks to turn it around for better. 2 weeks really. Hold off the new charac and story and close all loopholes. It is really that simple. Come up with a parallel track for the handsome hunk. Take a small leap of a month or couple of weeks. They have time till after the IPL. Don’t ruin the maan magic to a point of no return! Redeem it. Make it happy 9 months!!!

1. Not sure about the first one.

2. Baa is beyond redemption from whatever I heard of prequel. The hero needs atleast one person to stand by him always right. And if she is redeemed then she won't get all the close ups that she is getting.

Also are we really hoping for any logic or any sense even now? All the character's here have short term memory loss. They say something in one episode and forget in another. When our hero helped Anupama realise that Anuj is more than a friend to her, I thought they were trying to redeem him upto an extent. Our hero cannot be redeemed completely no matter what. Again he won't get close ups.

What if Anuj's Bhabhi turns out to be our hero's gf from prequel? Tab toh whole 22 minutes zoom barabar zoom.

I feel Bapuji is more responsible for Anupama's misery than mother-son duo. He was stubborn and made her stay in that house even after divorce. For 26 years he was a silent spectator and let her get abused mentally. He says she is her daughter, would he have allowed his own daughter to stay in her sasuraal after divorce? Even now he stays silent when Anupama and her fiance is insulted.

Makers are hell bent on ruining the show for one dosti. Bhagwan aise dost sabko de.

Meanwhile our hero singing a song for Anupama:

Anuj's family mostly will be negative. I am not sure about everyone but ek to negative hoga hi. In OG also they were against the marriage. We will get mixed character of Anuj. He will be savage in front of his own family but Anupama in front of her 2nd maayka. Makers really dont care because they have that pride of no. 1 show. Also, the MaAn magic won't work. Atleast for me it is dead. We will see how he will be an outsider everywhere. Even in yesterday's episode Anupama asked Vanraj to accompany her to take Bapuji to hospital. First of all that's an insult to your to be spouse. 2ndly I would have liked Anuj to feel bad or show some kind of sadness or even Mukku to ponder about those things.

Unpopular opinion: If Anuj's extended family is introduced I would really want them to criticise Anupama on all the above points.

Baapuji ain't going anywhere because he's the connection between Anupama (with future sasural) and SH! He's be the one to pave way for her coming back and the future story to unfold!

I totally agree with the last paragraph, all they need is good and consistent writing of the story as a whole (and not just MaAn scene) for a few weeks and it would be back on track! But that's too much of asking.

They need to know that All dramas shouldn't be about toxicity only! Dramas can be done without that also.

About Kanyadaan: It's just my personal wish for Samar to do it! If you by the previous story, it was only him who was there with Anu unconditionally acc to his capabilities. Jitna Kar sakta tha usne sirf Anu ke lie Kiya. None of the other family members were there for her in her worst times not even Baapuji!

And if you see it through MaAn angle, Samar was the only one who made it possible (his talks after Anuj's proposal was so damn convincing and heartfelt) He's one genuine MaAn shipper since Day 1 and consistent at that! Not like Mukku, changing as per her convince!

Baki toh fir Haanikarak baapu hai hi credit lene ke lie! Aur fir PH ki Marzi! Vaise bhi humari Kaunsi baatein maan lete hai yeh log!

Though somewhere I agree with your opinion on the family track. If they are able to make anupama realise the need for boundaries, then great. Else we get to see Anuj truly being torn between love and responsibility - so basically a repeat of what we saw between holi and pre sagai.

Not even going to go into how they’ve royally ruined AK’s character and have made anupama horrible than the prequel character!
