Continuing part 3

Both were lost in each other's arms. They didn't know when the slow movements to calm each other turned into a passionate swaying. Anuj traced his fingers along her arms to rest his palms on her cheeks. She didn't break away from him. She had wanted to say something but decided to just soak in the moment.

The song in the background seemed to echo their emotions.

Khulte, bandh hote labon ki yeh ankahi,

Mujhse keh rahi hain ke badhne dey bekhudi...

He gazed at her half closed eyes and moved in more closer to kiss her.

Anu gets all shy and and instead of letting him kiss, she hugs him with a passion she didn't know she had in her. Her head touching his neck. All she was aware of was the arms holding her and the love that poured out of his very being.

Not aware for how long they danced. Engulfed in each others embrace, time stood still.

Just then there was a sound from the adjacent room.

Anu says she will check on Kinjal and hurries to the room.

Kinjal was in a deep slumber. Her hand had hit a photoframe on the side table, which in turn had fallen on the floor.

Not wanting to wake her up, she silently made her way out with pillows in her hands.

Anuj looked at his watch and thinks he should let her rest after that eventful day..says - "bahot der ho gayi hain, its very late, tum bhi thaki hogi, main jata hu ab. "

She plonked herself on the sofa and looked at him with puppy eyes, "matt jaiyye na Anuj", he was surprised with her request.

Earlier when she had evaded his kiss, he had thought she might not be ready for a physical intimacy as yet. But this request had surprised him.

"Are you sure? Log baate banayenge!" He mimicked her.

"Banaane dijiye, aapko logon ki padi hain aur mera kya?", she imitated his words and both burst out laughing.

She put the pillows on the back rest and extended her hand.

Secretly pleased with her bold invite, he took her hand to rest beside her. He extended his arm behind her back to draw her closer to him. She unfazedly kept looking at him. He liked this bold Anu. But still was afraid to make a move as he wasn't sure if she was ready yet.

Someone crooned in the background..

Baithke tanhaai mein kar ley, sukh dukh ki do baatein.. chandni raatein.. chandni raatein..

Anuj caressing her arm - "aram kar lo, Anu. Its been a taxing day for us all"

She laid her head on his chest while he soaked in her warmth by holding her close. Close..where they belonged to each other and no one else.

After a while, Anu, staring at his face, "ek baat kahu? "

Anuj raises his brow questioningly,

Anu shyly traces a finger from his chin to the mole on his left cheek. "Yeh jo nishaan hain na aapke gaal pe, woh kya kehte hain, (trying to remember the english word) dist..distr..distrecting hain"

Anuj - "is that so?"

Anu - "haa, mujhe bahot mushkil hoti hain.."

"Kaisi mushkil?"

"Yeh nishaan aapko bahot bahot bahot zyada hendsome kar deta hain aur phir main jo bolna chahti hu woh bhool jaati hu isse dekh ke"

It was his turn to blush now.

Anu asks him to close his eyes. He denies.. this bantar goes on for a few minutes. Shaking her head, she puts her hand on his eyes so he cannot see what she is upto.

When she is sure he cannot see her, she brings her lips to his cheek and plants a firm kiss near his mole.

Shocked by this turn of event, Anuj takes her hand off his eyes and touches the place where she kissed and then gazes at her. She is looking flushed. His intense gaze makes her hide her face in his embrace.

A few moments later,

Anuj - "kuch maangu tumse?"

Anu - " kya chahiye?"

Anuj - "yeh jo tumne mujhe surprise diya, iska repeat telecast kar do phir se, please please please."

Looking in his eyes, she is about to kiss him again, just then he moves his face slightly, and the kiss falls on his lips instead of the designated place.

She looks at him wide eyed.. and whispers Anuj!!

Their passion gives way to more kisses while a song continues to play somewhere around..

Lamho ki guzarish thi yeh,

Paas aa jaaye, hum tum..

Tum hum, hum tum..

Refreshing. Loved ur writing Rupali and this moment in your ff was very 8ntimate and endearing.

Wonderful Rupali, I enjoyed the fun/naughty and enderaing moments in the part.

For writing, I liked the sturcture of the dialogues and the incorporation of background music 🎶 like there would be in a scene.
