Second best to Maan

I have been loving Anuj, MaAn and their mature love story for these last 3 months.

I have lost count of how many times, i have replayed old episodes, how many are bookmarked, downloaded, IG, Twitter, YT VMs - all have been my regular doses of MaAn.

However, i haven't seen much of ITV or OTT.

So, am looking for suggestions on serials, series or movies which you liked on similar scale.

I am not into cheesy, teenage romance so looking for some mature stories with fabulous actors.

And yes, if actor is hot like Gaurav, nothing like it 🤪

Suggestions please.

I have spent 15 years in Bangalore, so while i do appreciate south indian movies have only seen dubbed versions or have had a friend sitting next to me for translation. Not keen on subtitles as instead of actors i find myself focussed on text

Mujhe iske starting kafi sahi lagi thi. See for yourself if you like it. Mohnish bhel and kritika kamra in the cast.

#karle tu bhi mohabbat

This one's ram and sakshi's alt balaji series. First two seasons were love!

#ajeeb dastan hain yeh

Apoorva Agnihotri and sonali bendre are kind of paired here. I enjoyed it a lot.

#kehtaa hai dil jee le zara

This one is an age gap romance. Bahot pyaara serial tha.

These few in my understanding are decent. Baki up to your discretion

Edit- in english series, i loved watching 100. It was scifi, dystopia, romance, angst, sab kuch. Also there is haunting of bly manor too

Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon was a very famous show known for its romance, family drama and more importantly chemistry between the lead actors. Honestly today when I look back I found that relation too toxic..all that manhandling and hurting and yellinh..but back then it was a benchmark for romantic shows😁

Bade ache lagte hain was also very good for upto 300 episodes and it went the typical balaji way.

English I mostly stick to horrors and thrillers. The only ones I watch that dont fit this genre is Greys anatomy and friends😉

If I can think of more, will update this post😇

A huge BALH (Season 1) fan here. Must must watch for mid age romance. Atleast till the 2nd leap. Thereafter it went downhill 😆

I have seen this one, brilliant actors so had to see and wasn't disappointed with first 2 seasons.

Had actually seen the serial BALH too for initial month's later like all ITV too dragged and I stopped it.

Yayyyy.. me too.

Guess what recently when they started season 2. I saw season 1 again most of initial month's one but have not followed new one yet.

Yes, I have seen Grey's anatomy for long time and then stopped. I was into BBT more than friend's, love Sheldon.

BALH yup, said thing with balaji or should say ITV. Fingers crossed for MaAn.

I follow a FF on maan, serendipity on Wattpad. Let me quote a thought from there. Our perspective changes with age. So a book you read at 20 and then re-read at 40, your liking, take away will be different.

I too had liked iss pyar ko kya naam doon back then. And right, now if I were to see it again; I may not like it that much. As you rightly pointed out. Similar one was Geet, I had its episode saved in a harddisk which I recently cleaned.

Loved Ajeeb dastan. Kaafi similarity to Anupamaa actially except that they remained friends. I loved it though.

I can suggest many English movies (some you may have already watched) and some series...U can find this in Netflix or Prime or even Hotstar...some u might need to find a torrent or look up...
