What exactly is his profession?

The unrealistic amount of ageism he's facing is weird.. He's only in his 40s & his vast experience doesn't matter at all? It's not this bad even in a fast moving industry like IT.

My theory : He was never really that good at his job LOL. He was just presentable and had a vast ego. And his promotions - If you stay in a company long enough, you get promoted high enough. And he has spent his whole career in Dholakia's company, right?

It also explains why his salary wasn't as insanely high as his ego 🤪 That's the only reason why no one seems to want to hire him.

Even startups don't want to hire him? New, small companies usually crave for experienced management to join them but people of Vanraj's position reject their offers. Looks like everyone used the age excuse to be polite.. Instead of telling him upfront that his skillset is unhirable!🤪

And Vanraj, being the egoistic dude that he is, believed them instead of introspecting.

A fresh student Kinjal is doing Vanraj's job and is the boss now. The writers really went crazy with that one.
