TC article: Will Anupama take a stand for herself?

I'm waiting to see her stand up for herself. If the show continues like this, I will really write it off my list.

I doubt it. I think am about done with starplus tv series. It's like the writers can not write a decent show however much they try. Just cliches and silly villians. Being in lockdown I have tried to give a few shows a chance and after a few episodes of this am not that hopeful.

On Anupaama. They are already making her a simpering saint and a doormat....everyone will walk over her but she will not complain, the only time she will stand up is to tell people off who say anything bad about the same people belittling her.

Time will tell but already I dislike all the characters including her. All that fawning over someone who has not paid you no mind for so many years is just annoying...I can understand doing your duties but after that long neglect and you are still daydreaming and acting all shy and blushy, covering her eyes when she speaks of him...like who does that...after doing as much as she does for all them and getting degraded that would have gone out the window ages ago...I mean they have two grown sons and a teenage daughter...why are they making her act like a teenager with a crush on her husband (a shxxty one at that)?

Looking at back ground of anupama such wives generally fear to take stand for herself

And due to lack of proper education as anupama is 12 th pass it some how created lack of self confidence to take stand against injustice of husband and they just continue make husband happy no matter husband treat wife as slave or just treat as khana banae wali not wife

I get that. I know the story they want to show. I just wish for once they actually make a good show with realistic situations and proper dialogs and good character development but already you can see where they are going...just nastiness and very little logic.

Even if you are uneducated if people grind you down and disrespect you the way they are showing you still have human feelings. I would expect her to do her duties but the whole romantacising her husband from her is just inrealistic. She might feel it is her duty to love him...but after so many years (they must be married for more than 20 years) it is absurd that she would still be playing the bashful bride...which is how she came off when she was talking about her husband and the one and only time they went out alone.

Also what is up with such disrespectful children. (I know they exist in real life but jeez) I can see them being neglectful as in taking her for granted (like Samar) but the other two are plain nasty to her...they are dismissive and speak of her like she is the most useless person known to man....it's only been a few episodes so we will see but do not get your hopes up. So far we have the usual cliche

Dad...abusive, selfish

Mother in law...nasty

Father in law...nice but spineless

Two kids...brats

Other kid...nice but again spineless

Kavya other woman

So the usual

Am guessing she will suffer abuse....get some kind of business...find independence and confidence outside of home...husband will probably kick her out for Kavya...then discover kavya does not just stay quiet and take abuse and ofcouse Kavya will be terrible at housework especially cooking (somce that is the pne thing he thinks Anupaama is good at). They will then realise how good they had it with Anupaama and do all sorts to get her back...she will come back and will not even need to forgive them as in her mind they did nothing wrong (husband is god....inlaws are god...kids are god so they can not be wrong) add in random schemes...over the top villian..(Kavya or Mothet on law)...someone almost getting killed..one or two hospital deathbed scenes and ta da done

I feel like everything that they are laying down in the story is going to come up and make Vanraj and first son and daughter, and mother in law think about how they behaved.

They keep telling her she is only good as a housewife in the kitchen and cant speak this and that, or education.. i cant wait for Anupamaa to do more, and hit them where it hurts.

And finally catch out Kavya and Vanraj too...

Nothing new though....new show showing the same old tired story

So Anu will become what ... a businesswoman?

Only to take back her shitty husband and in-laws ? After getting her pride back she will shit all over it by becoming the the now educated bahu to an idiot family that’s now ‘reformed’

I want Anu to get a job , move out and regain her pride. She doesn’t have to get remarried but she needs to divorce her asshole hubbie

Would be nice if they did something different for a change something challenging but most star plus series go in the same direction. We can only hope that this might be the one exception 😀...so far everything we have seen is exactly as expected.

Hmmm I don't what they will show but if you check the original serial's wiki their it's written that the female lead divorced her husband..so don't know what they will show here in Anupama bit the original serial I guess it's an Bengali serial in that the female lead has divorced her husband that's what I have read in wiki..hope something like this happens and yes I hope no other male lead is their
