Paatti , Gayathri and Shreenidhi - at Paatti's place. Meena serves buttermilk
and is given the juicy news of "Shree taking revenge" Meena for her part tries
to say that Shree has "misunderstood" Palli (hello, she is the only one who
"understands" - the rest of you are "brain blind" ) Shree jumps the gun saying
that she is fed up of such advice. Paatti calms her down and says that she can
understand Shree (Paatti u have an axe to grind 😉) Tells Shree that though her
anger towards Palli is justified, she should not hurt Meena and Gayathri - tells
Gayathri " Just let her go her way. If she marries Karthik, she can not be happy as
the DIL of Palli " Gayathri is stunned by this support.
Palli comes home - in tears. Her mom, who is partly responsible for bringing
up such a moron ( the other half is the dad ) wants to know the reason for being
so pensive. Palli narrates the incident at the temple and asks innocently "what
did I do wrong ? (yeah sure, you are the epitome of decent behavior) I wanted
my son to marry a girl of my choice . Athu nadakkathO nnu Shree ai apdiyellam
pesinen ( athu sari, un pillai kki kalyanam pannanum nna athai avan kitte pesi sari
pannanum. Oor le irukkira girls ai ellam name calling???Who gives you the right to
suspect Shree's character?) avvalavu thaane?" Amma has no answer - of course ,
she must be nondhufying herself for giving such an upbringing . Palli says that she
does not plan to give up "until Shree and Anu's athai forgive me" Wants mommy to
keep all this under wraps "not a word to any one ..esp.Karthik" Well, Karthik is privy
to this conversation and hears even the last request. Apdiye pOngi varathu avarukku -
amma vai demean pannittalaam Shree ( Unga amma kanda padi Shree ai pesina
pOthu vayai thOrakkalai nee !!) Much to the chagrin of Palli and Paatti Karthik sets
out to confront Shree.
Karthi is so angry that he almost hits Mechanic Karthi - Mechanik K stops him
and asks about the anger. Vethu Vettu karthik narrates everything and says that
he wants to see Shree one hand. M Karthik is reason personified - Tells VV Karthik
that Shree is not some one who will jump the gun easily " On the day of Girl seeing
ceremony, your mom talked dime a dozen, called Shree names and doubted her
integrity !! AppO kooda summa azhuthu kittu apdi yellam illai aunty nnu thaane
sonnanga !!!! Don't go to her with this anger in tact. Then you will regret your words
later " VV Karthik is unrelenting and M Karthik comes with a sane solution " give
me a day, I will talk to Shree and find out what is bothering her, then u can meet..."

Update for Tues, Jun 14, 2011:
MK goes to Shree's house - they have changed the house again. This house looks like the one Adhi used to live in (!), with the different gates, and then they show MK climbing stairs to enter their home, where in the past, they lived on the ground floor - remember the scene when Palli came to their house to tell them about Shree's letter, as well as the scene when she came to apologize and Shreenath, Gayathri and Shreenivasan came to the door? Well, this is a different house, and the door is open, as always, and MK walks in, through the dining room, calling "Sir, Sir", and Gayathri and hubby come out. He wants to talk to Shree, they tell him she is upstairs, he tells them he wants to know why she was so angry with Palli and about Karthi's anger (enge anger kaataNum, adhu theriyadhu indha aaLukku, amma mele thaan thappu irukku, anaal puriyalai, Shree mele kovam!) and so he wants to talk to her. They tell him to go upstairs.
He goes upstairs, Shree is walking around, he talks to her (and they both remain standing. Shouldn't he have the sense to at least sit and discuss such an important matter?). She tells him she doesn't want to talk about it at all, so he goes back, disappointed. I am glad Shree didn't change her mind.
MK goes to SR's house, and is sitting there, thinking. SR comes in, asks what the matter is, and he says he is wondering how you think you know a person, and then you find you don't know that person at all, and she wants to know who he is talking about, and he says Podhuvaa thaan sollaren. Gopi comes in, SR says she can tell the time by his arrival, he is like the eagle in Tirukazhikundram, arrives promptly at feeding time. Gopi is stung and says he won't wet his hands there until he finds himself a job, and leaves. MK is angry that SR talked like that to her father, and he also goes. SR is wondering what went wrong.
Santhosh is listening to music in his room and dancing. Anu is irritated by the loud music and tells Nivedha to tell him to turn it off, and Nivedha gives her ear plugs to wear. She shows her own earplugs. Anu is annoyed, as usual (this woman has no child rearing skills, either, she either shouts at them, or raises her hand, she has no concept of sitting down and talking, and RR of course has no time to see how this family is growing up). She goes to the door, followed by RR and Nivedha, shouts to Santhosh to open the door, and he finally opens it.
RR says he has arranged for an interview for Santhosh at his friend's company, Santhosh wants to know why he cannot be at RR's office (adhu eppadi, angey Karthi comes and goes?) and what kind of job? RR says he must learn everything, and Santhosh gets angry and says if he is a burden to them, to just say so and he will leave, and he goes from there. Anu gets angry as usual and shouts at him, and RR is trying in vain to get her to be quiet. (Totally dysfunctional household, thanks to the bigamist husband - he deserves to be shot, in my opinion!)

Wednesday 15th June 2011 Episode - 294
Paatti coughs in the middle of the night. Meenakshi brings hot water for paatti and asks why she is coughing like that (vera eppadi cough paNNalaam Meens??) Why Meenakshi not asleep yet Paatti asks. Not sleepy, never thought Shreenithi would hate Karthik so much. When the life she wanted is falling on her lap she is behaving so stupidly (Shreenidhi is right for once, neenga ellaam thaan mangaas) and to top it Paatti supporting Shreenidhi worries Meenakshi more. Paatti is ready to guess what Meenakshi is arriving at. This is not seeking revenge on Palli because Paatti loathes Palli. Paatti's life changed for worse because of Palli, should the same befall Shreenidhi, she wants Meenakshi to answer. Shreenidhi maybe happy as Mrs.Karthik but never as Palli's DIL. Meenakshi gives Palli thangamaanava certificate. Paatti says no one has understood Palli better than Paatti has. Meenakshi decides to put a stop to this topic for now.
MK comes and sits on the sofa (yaaru veedunu theriyaadhuppa) Selva welcomes him(Ok ppl got it now) asks why he is dull, if he is upset because of the way she spoke to Gopi. No, he Ottufies Shreenidhi shaming Karthik & Palli, how Karthik in anger was on his way to Shreenidhi's house, and MK intervening to pay a visit to Shreenidhi. Selva says may be Palli's torments earlier could be the reason. Shreenidhi is also saying the same but MK feels there is some other reason. Because Karthik & Shreenidhi decided to even marry after all that fiasco.
If Shreenidhi & Karthik meet the true reason can be brought to light. But how wonders MK. He paces up & down, calls Karthik - who is sitting like ulagE maayam, the handphone is right in front of him, picks it stares at it and then answers (useless, jobless fellow) MK says he met Shreenidhi who has told him a few things, he wants Karthik to come to Hotel Green Palace to discuss the same at 10 am. Then he calls Shreenidhi. Shreenidhi picks up the call, tells MK she has told him all that she needed to the day before. So why disturb her again? MK wants to talk something important, he is her well wisher (you are wishing that she be in the well?? - Pallikku DIL naa paazhunkeNathula thaLLina maadhirithaan) is asked to come to the same hotel at the same time.
Palli crying to Sivakami. Durgai amman veLakku is not working for me nu. Sivakami says everything will be alright soon (ellaa serial has the same dialogue hmph..grr)Karthik gets ready, says is going out. As usual Palli asks where to, MK wants to talk is the reply - regarding Shreenidhi is the next Q, yes, MK had spoken to Shree, regarding that. Dont show your anger to MK advices Palli (ellaam nEramthaan). varOm maa, varOm paatti he says and leaves (nee oruththan thaanE varEn nu sollaNum theriyaadha.. Thamizh sodhappal)
MK waiting in front of the restaurant. Karthik arrives, asks if MK has been waiting long. They go in, MK asks what Karthik would like to have, Karthik sleep, hunger all long lost... wants to know what Shreenidhi said. MK gets a call from Shreenidhi, excuses himself. Shreenidhi is just outside the restaurant, MK is behind her. She asks if he has been waiting long. He smiles. Why smile? Shreenidhi wants to know. MK thinks only if the mind is alike the same words can be uttered (idhu basic courtesyda arivuketta MK - manasu alike oru puNNaakkum vENdaam) Shreenidhi accepts. He just came, asks her to wait at table number 3, He will make a call and come.
Shreenidhi almost passes Karthik's table. Notices him, stops, both look at each other with so much of hatred. MK comes in. Shreenidhi is hurt with MK's drama. He requests both of them to talk, Karthik didnt know of the drama. Leaves. Shreenidhi doesnt want to ever face Karthik. Karthik stops her, says his hatred for her is 100 times more than hers. Everytime his mother said that Shree was arrogant, proud etc he spoke for Shreenidhi. (what about the time she called Shreenidhi gutter??) But now he realises his folly. Shreenidhi tells him she is leaving him so that there is no problem in his life later. Karthik finds it difficult to buy the story, who can create problem in my life he shouts (ungappanthaandaa ). Shreenidhi asks him not to shout. Karthik wants her to be open - that she has met someone who is more handsome and well off than Karthik himself (aamaam someone who works for a living & is not a parasite), she is shocked and disgusted (I presume, atleast I was)
Update for Fri, Jun 17, 2011:
Palli is anxiously waiting for someone. Mom asks her to come in, she says she is waiting for Karthi. Karthi returns, she goes and asks him what MK said, he hangs his head, doesn't say anything, mom tells her to come inside and discuss (at least we can be spared the outside-the-house-conference!). Karthi goes inside, says that Shree was also there, and that they cannot get married. Palli says she will make Shree agree, he tells her to leave the topic alone, and goes inside.
Palli's house - she is chasing Priya, and Priya is asking Paati to save her, and Paati is trying to stop Palli from attacking her. Karthi is watching this scene with his usual mournful expression. RR comes in, asks what the matter is, Priya says that "mummy ennai adikka varaanga", and Palli says she keeps needling her so she wanted to teach her a lesson (this scene is to show how RR is so happy with this family). Karthi has no appetite, while Palli and Priya are konjufying away, with Palli feeding Priya, Priya feeding RR, and so on. RR notices that Karthi is not eating.
Anu's house - Loosu mama Kamesh is back from somewhere, Anu, Santhosh, and Nivedha are talking to him. Anu says she is happy to see the change in Kamesh and the fact that he has become responsible, Santhosh feels she is taking a dig at him, and leaves the room. Just as he is on his way out, Karthi comes to their house. Karthi looks at him, realizes that this is his brother, Santhosh (aahaa, enna paasam, enna paasam!), tells him he has come to see Anu Aunty. Santhosh takes him inside.
Anu welcomes Karthi, Karthi is busy admiring the house and thinking to himself, I can see my father has designed this house with the same care he took in ours, so he is keeping this family also happy. This means that he is not doing drogam to Anu aunty (idhu oru logicaa? All RR did was build the house, he doesn't spend time there, he spends his nights elsewhere and lies to his wife (both of them) that he is at work, and the Satyawadi Karthi has forgotten all that? I am seeing red here!). Anu asks him what brought him here, and he says he came to see them. They are surprised, and he samalichufies that he came to ask if Nivedha knew why Shree was so angry with him and Palli. Nivedha doesn't know the reason, and she is surprised to hear that Shree avamaanam paduthufied him and his mom (has the director forgotten an earlier scene between Nivedha and Palli, where Nivedha scolded Palli for being harsh to Shree? Oh, I get it, the script writer has changed, so the new script writer hasn't seen the previous scripts!) and Anu is also surprised to hear about Shree's behavior. (But it is okay for Palli to be abysmally rude to Shree?)
Just then, Rukku and Ganesh come in (Roja, they heard you!). Anu goes to make coffee for the guests, along with Nivedha, Santhosh and Kamesh go off to their respective rooms. Nivedha brings coffee, Karthi thanks her, adding the word, sister, at the end, and asks her if it is okay for him to address her as sister. She says it is fine, and leaves. Rukku suspects that Karthi knows the truth, and asks him if he knows anything and if that is why he is here. Karthi says he knows that his father is also married to Anu Aunty, and he knows the nyaayam behind it, and he will never tell anyone (and I want to shoot you along with your father! You were so mad at Shree when you found out that she was not from a poor family, and here you forgive your father, even though his deception is a million times worse than the small lie that Shree said - you are the hypocrite here!)
