Bon and veena, Karthick never liked Nandhini aswell...it was one sided love..he saw her as his best friend only..nothing else 😊

Ramya - that too was one side + the whole family wanted to get him married off to ramya cause abhi thought the property will be on their hands.

I also remember Karthick was about to get engaged to another girl but during the engagement, Indhu come there so he couldnt 😕

Meli, what is this thing about Karthik being on the verge of getting engaged to someone else and Indhu's appearance throwing him off track? Did this happen during the period when Shanthi was upset with Karthik for withholding the news about the circumstances of her husband's death, the period when she went back to her hometown with Indhu? I do see snapshots of some woman in bridal outfit during trailers for Anandham (why can't they update their trailers?) but I was not a regular Anandham watcher until early last year when ACD's role took on greater substance. Anyway, who is that woman in bridal outfit? Isn't she the army doctor who had a crush on Karthik? Also, Karthik and Shanthi were only separated; they were not divorced, so how could he have even consented to an engagement during that period? Wouldn't it have been unlawful?

BTW, our son has been with us for just over 2 years now - wow, how time flies! Also, one of first things we learnt when we decided on the process was that the "helping the child" aspect is truly ony 50%. The other 50%, believe it or not, is the "selfish" aspect of us (prospective parents) bringing home a child to call ours. Until you are in the same position of an "adopter" you will probably not fully comprehend this.

So true Vsur - I would say that it is 100% selfishness - If we really
analyze ourselves, we never do anything that does not bring us
happiness - it might sound harsh to hear but even loving one's
kid gives pleasure and that is why we do it. That is why I always
say that we are responsible for all our acts. We are not doing the
kid a favor , it is just that we are lucky enough to get the kid, he is
doing us a favor - I have never had the pleasure of adopting though
I have always wanted to - have my own reasons for that compromise
but have read a lot on this - and every little article augments my
conviction - it is we who are at the receiving end and we should never
count our blessings. Enjoy your kid..u talk about 2 yrs flying fast..
believe me, time really flies and before u realize it he will grow up
to become an adult ... and then u can not even hold him tight.......
a different Roja, eh???

Bon, the rules have been in place in India for a while now. However, being India many times rules are broken by those with the right "connections". Sad truth. In 2004 we saw one incident which clearly showed this happening in Pune - that orphanage figured in a public outcry in 2006/2007.

Thanks, Vsur. Oh, God. Do we have to watch this crap -- heartwrenching scenes of Manisha yearning for Karthik and Karthik having pangs of conscience. Already we saw Karthik howling when Indhu was instigated against him. Now we've got to see more of Karthik's lows? Quick, CR. Shyam is a widower; get Manisha married to him and tie up that track quickly.

Thanks Vsur.. How do think its possible that Karthik's sister (forgot her name) found out about the orphan boy as being Karthik's son? Why is she being very secretive? - who is she trying to protect?😍

I think Manisha won't breakup Shanti/Kartik's marriage. I don't think she would have sent her baby to the orphanage - perhaps it was done by her family members. She could have been told that the child died during delivery... 🤔

God!!...so many diversions..there is no way ANANDAM is ending any time in the near future..!! 😡 😡

So its official..Karthick's ex is that manisha....and there we go again in circles 😡

Bon, Omni and Karthick was divorced cause Abhi threathen her to agree otherwise she wont give divorce to Madhan who was unlegally married to Rohini. So Rk and co decided to get Karthick married off, during the engagement, Indhu arrived to the temple where the engagement was happeing and called him "appa"..he backed off 😆 that girl was nice, she and shanthi become friends and she started to help shanti n co to figure out abhis dirty secrets etc.

Thanks for the clarification, Meli. Yes, looks like Karthik to front seat and ACD to back seat 😭 😡
