Karthick is a hero - this is the 3rd girl interested in him. first the doctor girl, then engaged to another girl, then this new girl.

SunTv read Vsur's updates and spelled out the rules of adoption today in "athipookal" episode.

well you ladies don't mince your words,but i guess most of what you say is true.well my character has just popped in for a brief time to get manisha and karthik together.wish they had brought me in with something more to perform,but i guess i am just content to appear in this serial even though briefly.
i think the serial will go on for another year and hence the new track and i think the stress will be more on family and relationships now than cops and robbers.well the serial is on its final stretch home and all the characters are coming closer so the knots can be tied properly.be well.satish

Aralyn, I would like to see a balance in a serial. There are lots of social issue that CR can emphasis on. But he did not. A twist is needed but with a limitation not with exageration. Anyone seeing this serial, would think India is full of crime. CR is doing a good job of making the police force of India as incompetent. I know this is reel, but many many people of India cannot differentiate what is reel and real. So in potraying too much of crime in a serial with incompetence of police force makes me angry. 😡 😡

It is okay to have a heroworship A. Nothing wrong with that. I am a matured adult who knows where to draw the line. 😃 😃 😃

To all you who sent me and my family best wishes. Thank you. I am truly blessed to meet these young boys. Once my dad and my friends encouraged me to adopt a child since they know I like to do social work. But I refused for personal reasons as well as thinking of the adopted child's future.

Vsur you are correct. Even in Malaysia, you should not have direct contact with children until all formalties are over. Believe me this is a long long process here. That is why a couple I know, rather go through 'back door' to adopt a child. I know this is wrong and told them so, but that is all I can do and not interfere too much.

Again you are correct, we cannot show preference in a home. It would be a disaster. When you favour one child, the others will either bully or isolate the child. We seen it happen and heard it happen.

We heard from our uncle where he is a volunteer in a orphanage, how one child got a new shoe, and others out of jealousy, hid the new shoes in toilet bowl. 😊 The pranks of the boys. 😆

Good to hear such news, finally there is a closure. This is what we want to see. Instead of actors/actresses are doing a disappearing act and never come back. Like, the character Shyam was shown as leaving for Australia. At least, there was a closure to it. Well, looks like CR is hearing our view.

Satish, welcome back to the forum and to the serial. It's a pity that you have re-entered only to introduce a new character. We would have preferred to see more human interest stories focused on the original cast than to have new characters. But it's something to be welcomed that we will be eventually getting a respite from police and thieves. Nonetheless, I have no interest in Karthik's past and don't want to sit through another rocky spell in the Karthik-Shanthi relationship. Most of us actually want to see greater focus on our police hero's personal life.

Yet another TV station? My, my. That should be good for you, Satish. It opens up more acting possibilities for actors. But let's also hope that increased competition forces the channels to look for niches and improve the quality of their offerings rather than just churn out more of the same crap in a haste. Anyhow, good luck in your TV and ad industry career.
