June 15 Update – A rather boring episode.

ACD tells Shanti there is one person whom Abirami might listen to about Indhu. Pechi patti is the person. He gives Shanti the address and tells her to go and meet Pechi patti. ACD asks about Karthik and Shanti tells Karthik is very upset over the whole issue and all. ACD says everything will soon be sorted out and all will be well. Just as he is about to leave Shanti asks about Priya, ACD tells her not to worry about Priya, that she can go to office, that she should and only then will they be able to nail the person.

Shanti comes to Pechi pattis house, falls on patti's feet, pleading patti to help bring back her daughter. She explains the whole situation to Pechi patti, who is quite surprised at Abriami's behavior and tells Shanti she will do whatever she can to bring back Indhu to her.

Sivaraman with a bunch of his Malaysian friends, Srini joins them. Sivaraman's friends give some advance towards a deal to Srini, and Sivaram tells Srini that he has to be very prompt in his work, otherwise his friends will behave badly (something to that effect).

Kannan (Charu's ex-PA) goes for an interview. It is none other than Srinivasan's company. Srini realized who Kannan is, calls up Sivaraman to find out about Kannan, and he is hired as Srini's PA.

Pechi patti comes to SKPDs house and says she wants to meet Abirami, will she come here. She also tells SKPD that he should blindly not support Abirami in whatever she does and should correct her if she is wrong. Abirami comes, talks very sweetly to Patti, Patti asks Abirami if her affection and respect are really true or is she acting. Is there another face to this Abirami. FREEZE.

June 18 Update

Pecchi patti asks Abirami why she is putting up two faces. She says you are not a mother so you will never understand how a mother feels. She tells Abirami to come clean to Indhu and return back Indhu to her mother.

Narayanan is driving Shanti, who asks her about Pecchi patti's visit, whether Shanti is confident about Pecchi influencing Abirami and expresses concern that even if Indhu comes back to her, will she ever be in normal terms with Karthik. After driving they land in a supermarket and guess who Shanti bumps into…… Abirami, who teases Shanti for taking Pecchi's recommendation and finally says Indhu will always be angry with you and she will never come back to you. Shanti says she is confident Indhu will come back.

JC office, ACD and JC having a serious discussion (background music on). Insp. Shankar comes in, briefs JC about a variety of cases etc., then Shankar hesitates. ACD says if its something personal he will wait outside, Shankar says its ok. Shankar asks JC for half day's leave and says they are going to ponnu parthufiy for his BIL. JC asks who the girl is and Shankar says the girls name is Priya (ACD is obviously upset, JC looks quizzically at ACD), she has no relatives, that she is working for L&P and all details. ACD is too upset to even look up, JC looks at ACD worried, and tells Shankar, nalla kariyam, you go ahead.

ACD traveling in police car, he recalls all his previous meetings with Priya (they show snippets of coffee at Shanti's house, her saluting him, her proposing to him, flag day, Priya making coffee for ACD at his house, plus the day of the enquiry), he is so upset that he does not even answer his phone and cuts it.

At Shanti's house her mama comes and tells her somebody he knows from their neighboring village is coming to ponnu parthufy Priya, Shanti is all upset. Priya comes in and tells whatever elders say, its okay.

Shankar comes with his wife and BIL, Shanti recollects her previous meeting with Shankar, the raid, introductions exchanged. Doctor says he like Priya, and Shankar asks about Priya's decision and tells them it is not a hurry, they can tell their decision even tomorrow and they are about to take leave, when Priya stops them and tells, please you don't have to wait for my decision until tomorrow.

She says she is sorry she cannot marry the doctor, that mama did not know anything about how she feels and says, not only will she not marry to the doctor, but she will never get married ever. Shankar's wife is very happy Priya was frank and tells her its okay if she did not want to marry her brother, but asks Priya to reconsider her decision about not getting married at all.

Shanti is relieved Priya said no to the doctor guy, but is upset with Priya having said she will not get married at all, she asks Priya and Priya says, her dad's death is still on her mind, that she does not want to blame anybody or hold anybody responsible for it, but that she will never get married. FREEZE.

June 19 Update

Madhu, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it was sobs today. Since there was nothing much, I'll keep it really brief today.

Shyam and Uma are getting ready to go the embassy. Shyam goes downstairs to get the car ready, Uma experiences a pang or two and finally falls down the steps (the last 3 or 4) and is rushed to the hospital. Then Shyam calls the whole family, RK, Shanti, Ramya.

All are assembled at the hospital, as usual Shyam is pacing up and down. Doctor is examining Uma, and as usual comes and give dialogue, either mom or child only can be saved. Shyam is made to sign papers.

Uma wants to see Shyam, the whole family goes in, Uma says she wants to see Abirami and Shyam goes off to see Abirami.

Srinivasan in his office, enter Sivaraman, they talk about going to Malaysia. Sivaraman gets a call from Malaysia speaks in Malay, its something to do with Charulatha, some dealings without her knowledge (they did put a Tamil translation, but I could not follow, could somebody help me here?) This dialog is overhead by Kannan, who mutters something about Sivaraman cheating Charu.

Shyam goes to see Abirami and begs her to come and see his wife, Abirami says she wont and finally Shyam falls on her feet begging her. She steps away from him and we are left wondering whether she will go or not. FREEZE.

Update June 20, 2007

Abirami agrees to go with Shyam on one condition, says she will bring up the baby of Shyam and Uma, becos this is the only way of repaying Jambu for all the kindness and assures Shyam she will bring up the baby in a nice way. Shyam says whatever you say, my wife is more important, if its okay with Uma its ok with me. They proceed to the hospital.

By the time they reach the hospital, every body is crying, the inevitable has happened, Uma is dead. The nurse hands over the baby, and Shyam cries at Uma's feet.

At home, Shyam is upset and everybody tries to console him. RK says you have to look at the future now, the baby is there. Shanti says I know what pirivu is like, but you have to get over it and we are all there to take care of you baby.

Priyan's friend is watching Shankar's house and his wife sees and tells Shankar, but the guy leaves before Shankar can spot him.

One of SKPDs men (the one with curly hair and a pony tail) is returning home, after a vacation I suppose, with his wife and sees two locks on his main door. The house owner demands his rent dues and the man and his wife go to get money.

Priya calls up Sivaraman who is about to leave for Malaysia, tells him Charu does not want him to come there, that he has be here. Sivaraman is upset and argues, but Priya tells him his trip is off and cuts the call.

Srini and Sivaraman are discussing his canceled trip and Srini says Charu has definitely smelt something, that they have to do something, may be an accident. Srini says accidents always happen, that they have to make an accident happen.

Shankar's wife again spots the guy spying her house, hurriedly runs to tell her husband. Shankar sees the guy, the guy spots Shankar seeing him tries to flee in the bike, Shankar follows him in the bike. Shankar's wife realizes he has left his mobile and worries about her husband and decides to call JC to appraise him, cannot get through to him. Shankar is following Priyan's friend in the bike. FREEZE.

June 21, 2007 Update

Shankar's wife calls up ACD and informs him, who tell her not to panic and that he is on his way. Shankar is being led by Priyan's gangmen to every possible street in Chennai and finally they end up in what looks like a scrap yard. Priyan's friend disappears inside a building in the yard, and Shankar searches for me, two pairs of eyes are following his every move. Finally all the men (five of them) surround Shankar, the inspector offers resistance, but he is overpowered, and one of them takes a rod and is about to bring it crashing on Shankar's head, but dishum, ACDs gun fires in the air. All are stunned, Shankar is relieved. ACD orders the five of them to throw the weapons down, tells Shankar to go home, which he does. ACD calls for the jeep and all five are taken into custody. (They only show the jeep, so I assumed all of them have been arrested).

Srini comes to Sivaraman's (SR) house, says SR's face is all bright and lit up, and SR says well, the matter is almost done, but SR says they have to protect a criminal who will come here, and Srini says they can protect him in the harbor yard and that they will need a influential person's help to do so. Finally they decide to get SKPD's help.

Srini comes to SKPD's house, of course Abirami is sitting there and is of course sarcastic. He asks for some favor in the harbor. Abirami says they will consult and let Srini know.

Priya gets a call from Malaysia saying Charulatha's been in an accident, that she is serious. Priya is all upset and informs SR.

Abirami is playing with Indhu in the beach, building castles and all (it was a little too much). Kandhu comes there with his men. Sees Abirami with the little brat and tells his men that Abirami is here happy with this kid, but the whole family is crying without Indhu. This is Abirami's work, she always separates everyone, its time she pays back and all. FREEZE.

June 22, 2007 Update

Shyam is ready to leave for Australia, bags all packed up. Shanti, Karthik, RK, Ramya, and Raj (with their daughter – where had she disappeared all these days!!) are trying to dissuade Shyam from taking the baby to Australia, says this was Uma's wish and he wants to fulfill that. Finally the elders manage to convince him that the baby is too small, that he cannot handle the baby alone in a totally new country. Karthik tells Shyam to first settle down in Australia, then when the baby is big he can take the baby there. Shyam finally gives in So, Ramya takes the baby, says this is their second child, that she will take good care of the child. Shyam leaves for Australia.

One of SKPD's ex-men, the one who was having rent problems comes to SKPDs house asking to see him. Abirami does not even let him approach SKPD and does not give him the money.

This man goes to Kandhu for help, says Abirami did not help him, Kandhu says we must show Abirami what her real place is and helps this guy with money.

Sivaraman comes to Abirami's house where she is scolding Nallan and Sarasu. SR tells Abirami that he has a sea side network and like Srini said, he needs SKPDs intro for the harbor. SR also tells that Abirami need not worry about Srini, he is under my control (SR's control) that the deal will be between SKPD, SR, and Abriami and that they will benefit from it.

Priyan's friends are standing in JC's room. ACD is angry with them and tells them that they have gone to the extent of assaulting a police officer. Of course Shankar is also there and he interjects saying not assaulting, but trying to kill, ACD glares at Shankar. JC is also very upset with the 5 guys, says they should be settling in life with jobs etc, and tells ACD to book cases against them in appropriate sections. ACD says yes, but does not look very happy doing this and Shankar and ACD are staring at each other. FREEZE.

June 25, 2007 Update

ACD, Shankar and JC with Priyan's friends. ACD takes them outside JCs room, Shankar stays back at JCs room. ACD advises Priyan's friends. Tells them that for the mistake they have done they have to serve sentence, and asks them to reform their ways after they serve term. He also tells time you cannot extinguish fire with fire, you have to use water, asks the constables to take them away.

Ramya hands over her daughter to Raj to take care of Shyam's baby. Raj is most willing to help. Both of them (actually their daughter (Kavitha) does) select a name for Shyam's baby (draw of lots). The name that appears is Lakshmanan. Ramya wants to talk to her brother and Raj calls up Shyam and some senti dialogues.

Sivaraman calls up someone in Malaysia and informs him all arrangements have been made for him here, that he has to be just come here. The guy at the other end says police gedubai is very high in Malaysia. SR tells that guy to inform him as he about to leave Malaysia.

Sarasu goes to meet Kandhu and reports to him about SR's visit to Abirami. They talk about what a big shot she has become after her acquaintance with SKPD started that they have to do something about her.

Shanti is at home all upset about her daughter, thinking about Indhu staying with Abirami for a week. Mama comes and asks her something, Karthik returns from outside. Karthik had gone to see Indhu secretly at the time of school closing. He feels very bad about Indhu.

Mama goes to Abirami's house to see Indhu, watchman does not let him in, but finally Abirami lets him in and tells Indhu your thatha is your mother's side relation, you can see him. Mama is going back to village so he wants to take Indhu out with him and seeks Abirami's permission, Nallan and Sarasu and looking on. FREEZE.

June 26, 2007 Update

Indhu's thatha (mama) takes Abirami's permission to take the child out. Abirami lets her go on condition that thatha will not get her any ice creams (if she catches a cold, then Shanti will blame Abirami) and thatha will not tell anything bad to Indhu. Thatha takes Indhu out.

Shankar is at his home over the phone with apparently a colleague. He tells the person on the other end, that Priyans friends will not go anywhere, that he will take care of them, but ACD is real bad, that he is very angry with ACD. He then gets a call saying JC has made him incharge of security for some procession that he has to go imm. His son comes and imitates encounter Durai and it pissess of Shankar, he pushes is wife down, shouts at his son and leaves. Son asks mom whats with dad, mom says its his ego.

Thatha takes Indhu to the beach in an attempt to drive some sense into her head. They showed a lot of flashback (Karthick, Vijay and Balaji, for those of you who missed the earliest parts you could may be catch of some of it). Finally thatha narrates the incident (how Vijay actually died – I wonder why no body actually narrated it to her earlier, it would have saved us a lot of painful episodes) to Indhu and to me it looked like Indhu believed it. (This was the major part of today's episode – it was real boring, so I am not going to elaborate on it)

JC and Commissioner are holding a meeting, Comm gives JC all instructions on cases etc. JC leaves. Shankar comes to the commission and tells him there was an attempt on his life by Anamica's men. Comm says he knows, that Durai told him about it. Shankar then says ACD has not booked those men for attempted murder, and complains to comm that JC is also supporting ACD. He says ACD has always been trying to put him down, and that JC and ACD are trying to protect somebody. He gives a petition in that regard to the comm and comm says he will look into it.

Thatha brings back Indhu to the house, she does not go into the house, she stands near the entrance and looks at Abirami. FREEZE

June 27, 2007 Update

Indhu is standing at the doorstep hesitating to go inside. Abirami smiles her, but Indhu does not smile back. Finally she goes inside the house not saying a word.

Sivaraman and Srinivasan are talking, Srini says SR is great to be in India and put Charu out of action elsewhere, set up a meeting with SKPD and all. Vishnu comes there and tell SR that he has not yet got he building contract, SR tells him to go meet JC.

Shanti asks mama about his visit with Indhu, mama tells her he has told Indhu indirectly without telling karthik's name, the whole story and says he could see some change in Indhu. Karthik is still upset, says Indhu will come back to her mom, but what about him.

SR and SKPD meet on a bridge, SR thanks SKPD for agreeing to help him and says SKPD is sea king and stuff like that. SR says their capital is trust and they shake hands and leave.

Vishnu goes to meet JC at residence. JC is working out. JC tells him that the building contract has been given to someone else, that he sorry, these are orders from higher ups and that Charu knows about it. Vishnu is disappointed and leaves.

Abirami takes Indhu shopping. Indhu is just observing Abirami in the shop, not saying a word. They come out and run into Kandhu. Abirami nakkaladichufies Kandhu saying has your business become so bad that you are looking out for a salesman job. Kandhu says he is here to meet a guy to recover his money, Abirami tells him don't bug that guy too much otherwise the borrower will go to police saying Kandhu harassed him and Kandhu will be behind bars, that she will have to bail him out. Kandhu says yes, she is so used to courts, jails and cases that she knows everything. Abirami is irritated and leaves. Kandhu says this mam is too much (or something to that effect), that he has to use his men and do something to her. FREEZE.

Update for Thur 28 June (Where is Priya????)

Srini and Vishnu playing Billiards when Shivram comes and asks Vishnu about the police construction contract and whether he went and met JC>
Vishnu shocks him saying it is out of his hands and JC has already informed to Charu also. Shivram says it is doubly shocking. Srini says this Charu and Priya are behind these things and are doing everything to thwart our plans and we all need to be very careful otherwise we might have to start counting the bars inside a cell.

Police commissioner with JC and other officers and enquires about Shankar's complaint. ACD now comes inside.JC says ACD only saved Shankar that day and ACD himself will explain about the matter.
Acd says Shankar unilaterally decided to follow that guy and did not follow any precautions like informing control room or informing any senior officers etc. Thus he landed himself in unnecessary trouble. ACD got a call from Shankar's wife and was able to rescue Shankar. He further says as Shankar himself walked into trouble, it was decided not to put the sections of threatening life against them and they were booked under other sections.
Commissioner accepts the arguments and notes in the petition.

Kandhuvatti very angry at the way abhi spoke to him near the textile shop. He says any woman supposed to talk and behave in a measured way and says this mam has no limits. How dare she asks me whether I am working in that textile shop when I can give job to several people. He says he wants to make a plan where this mam will say 'aiyo amma" and I want to hear it with my ears.
He tells his man to take some new people and do some job (sound muted)

Abhi wearing a green saree leaves her house and is followed by the new gang with one of kandhu's man. Abhi goes to a super market followed by the gang. Kandhu's man stands outside.
Abhi after finishing shopping, goes to the lift and the gang follows. Now another green saree lady (face not shown) comes near the lift and the bungling gang is misled and follows the new lady to the lift and smashes her inside the lift. ( 4 gangsters to beat one lady😊😊)

The gang calls kandhu's man waiting outside and tells him that the job is done and he is happy. But suddenly he sees Abhi coming out of the super market and going to the car and is shocked.
Now the lady beaten up in the lift shows hr face and that is Srini's wife!

Srini with wife in hospital and makes a big hue and cry about the injuries. Doctor says it bis nothing much and gives medicines.
Srini's wife says this is all due to your sins and your enemies are hitting me to give warning to you.Srini thinks he has more enemies than he can count and how to find out who may be that.

Shankar comes to JC's office and meets him. JC says a enquiry was conducted by Police commissioner about Shankar's complaint and ACD was asked to give his explanation and Finally it was decided to accept ACD's report and Commissioner is closing the matter. He says he is telling this officially.
Shankar listens and leaves and Jc stops him and tells him that both you and ACD are senior officers and you both should cooperate rather than keep enemity. He says he is telling this as a senior officer and also as Shankar's well wisher. Shankar says ok and leaves.

When he comes out of the room, as expected, ACD comes inside and both cross each other.
