I stopped watching lakshmi. Irritating , Why nethra's character is so bundled up with arrogance and SS to marry a pregnant nethra. I can't stand Arjun ( SS) compromising for this arrogant nethra. He is not coming regularly also. Once he reappears, please let me know, then I will watch again.

Bon, I just saw the pictures of ACD in the restaurant. Ullam kulirndhudhudi kiliye... I think there is such a song. Actually I was watching an arangetram DVD and there was some such song! But yes, that was a sight for sore eyes and hearts. Keep posting!

Eljay, I am an ignoramus as far as Thamizh and Thamizh literature are concerned, but I believe that's a Bharathiyar song that you heard on the arangetram DVD. Which means ACD's smile brings out the poet in us ..., it makes us want to wax lyrical.

As I keep saying, it's "a smile that can launch a thousand ships" -- a line from the play "The Tragical History of Dr Faustus" written by the 16th century poet Christopher Marlowe, in which the protagonist describes Helen of Troy in those terms as he lusts for her. (Actually, Marlowe wrote "a face that can launch a thousand ships"; lines I had to memorise in an Elizabethan literature course at university.)

Eljay, got the pics but bear with me for a couple of days; it's such a pain having to upload the pics at some host site and then providing links (some hosts like tinypic even screw up things after some months). If the pics I have were of better quality, I'd host them on the SS website and link to them but they aren't. Anyhow will post soon.
