SS in Vijay's Jillunu Oru Challenge

Folks, a heads-up. I understand Saakshi Sivaa and Mrs Sivaa will be appearing in Vijay TV's Jillunu Oru Challenge shortly. I will post a message when I find out the telecast date -- presumably some time next week.

All those who missed ACD in his moment of rage in Anandham some six months ago -- when he flung down his cellphone and TV remote after Priya refused to take his phone calls post-Daddy's funeral -- catch a re-play of sorts in yesterday's Lakshmi (10 Sep). He does the same cell-phone flinging act of frustration and more. In fact, he was the star of yesterday's Lakshmi.

This is the video link that our friend Pokkri provided:

Sakshi Sivaa on Jillunu Oru Challenge

Folks, I believe Saakshi and Mrs Sivaa will be appearing on Vijay TV's Jillunu 1 Challenge this Wednesday (September 19, 2007) at 10.00 pm IST. Not too sure about the time; please check. (I believe the Singapore telecast times are different; we may even have to wait for a week for this particular episode to air. I haven't been following the show, so please do check.)

Hi folks,
A million thanks for Bon and her work.
Today I happened to see Jillunu oru challenge (star vijay) with lot of telecast disturbances( since i am not living in chennai). ACD has done a WONDERFUL, MARVELLOUS JOB. HE PROVED TO BE A SPORTS PERSON, IN EACH AND EVERY ACTIVITY ENDORSED TO HIM AND HIS WIFE. OBVIOUSLY HE CAME FIRST IN MOST OF THE EVENTS. I FEEL HE IS PERSON WITH HIGH SPIRITS ALWAYS, VERY HUMOUROUS IN DOING THE ACTIVITY (DIALOGUES WERE NOT VERY CLEAR FOR ME), BUT TOTALLY HE HAS DONE SUPERB. THIS I AM DECLARING NOT AS A FAN OF ACD, BUT IN GENERAL. ALL THE BEST FOR HIS FUTURE ENDEAVOURS

Folks, some new photos of Saakshi Sivaa have been uploaded onto the website -- see Family Albums 2 & 3 and Albums 1 and 3. Lots of interesting stills and posed shots taken on the sets of Nama Kudumbam

Congratulations to Saakshi Sivaa for winning the India Forums Best Serials Actor e-award with 9 votes!!! (See http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=738401&T PN=1&#12530973)

It's that authoritative gait as a police officer, the haughty stares, the commanding gestures, the pompous gait (in Lakshmi), the sarcastic smiles (in Lakshmi), the frowns, amd a whole lot of other stylish mannerisms that worked. I've also seen stills from Raj TV's Mahanadhi (check out the new photos on the http://www.saakshisivaa.com/album website), where he has assumed a completely different persona. An altogether versatile actor. Well deserved e-award. (Btw, Saakshi Sivaa now has a meatier role in Lakshmi than in Anandham. He appears more regularly and his character is being slowly developed; one redeeming feature to his opportunistic personality is now being played up, viz, his concern for his brother.)

Congratulations also to Rojapoo, Giri, Meli, Atina, Jiggly, Sue and Sri for the various IF member awards they bagged. Thanks once again to Sri for organising this award. It would have been great if the award had been better publicised and more members had participated. But, all the same, it was a fun activity.

I sent SS an email expressing my deep admiration for his role in Anandam, shock, disgust and despair for the Lakshmi role. Was totally surprised to get a reply from the great SS. He does not represent the common tamilian police officer in india that is corrupt, yet the pot belly is there. Yet, if the institution of law were the way it is in Anandham all over India, the country would be like the US to live in. Btw, I like his boss in the show a lot too.

Bon

Congrats friend. SS have acknowledged about you creating the website for him. 👏

Pretty cool huh?

I have a suggestion, but it might be too late though. In your guest book, maybe there should another entry, "country'. So that SS will know that his fans are not only in India, but other countries as well.

Hi folks, discussion on this page has died down, so I thought I'd revive it.

As some of you may already be aware, SS is playing the hero's role in Namma Kudumbam. Doing a great job as a man with a psychiatric condition -- obsessive love (not just obsessing over the Kushboo character but also talking frequently to his dead dad). I love to see especially the way he grits his teeth, runs his fingers through his hair in frustration, and flashes his menacing smiles. And, female fans may wish to know that he also steamed up the television screens last week with a shower scene (12 Nov) and a massage scene (16 Nov) ... 😃

Btw, SS will also be playing the lead role in a brand new serial, Sridevi, on a brand new channel, Mega TV. Watch out for it ...

PS: Caryn, belated thanks for your suggestion regarding the country of origin entry for the guest book. Done.
