Thanks for your compliments, Iramanujam. I do have another story -- unrelated to any recent event -- that I need to put finishing touches to. But my imagination has run dry somewhat and I may soon stop writing fiction revolving around ACD-Priya. I want to move on to other fiction. Cheers, Bonheur.

i'm sorry people i haven't been posting in this thread regularly but i've missed some episodes of lakshmi so i couldn't really comment on what SS was wearing.

but i watched the episode of anandham on friday, the singapore episode and i was disappointed to see ACD in a very dull grey long-sleeved shirt when he came to shanthi's house.😭😭 haila.. these shirts don't make look very good. the occasional t-shirt on him looks tons better than these long sleeved shirts.

like i said before, he should be getting some new sponsors. what would i not do to see him in a nice new collared polo t-shirt?😛

and i'd like to see him in a suit at least once before this serial ends.😉

I also understand that SS will be appearing on SUN MUSIC ON 2 August. Am checking the telecast time with folks in India. Unfortunately, we poor Singapore folks have our programme schedule completely skewed; we watch Anandham 4 days late and I don't know how the music programmes work. Would be great if someone in India could record the programme and send us the video or upload it somewhere. Sharp/Shylock, can you help?

SAAKSHI SIVAA'S APPEARANCE ON SUN MUSIC CANCELLED

Folks, just heard that our ACD's planned celebrity appearance on Sun Music, scheduled for tomorrow 8-9 pm, has been cancelled. Perhaps just postponed. But tomorrow's appearance is off.

Btw, part-time Lakshmi viewers may wish to know SS appeared in first scene of last night's episode (262), wearing a bright yellow Tee and black jeans.

The TV actors index, sadly, is dominated by North Indian actors. And not always actors. Javed Akhtar, the lyricist, and Udit Narayan, the singer, both have listings amongst TV actors though all they did was appear in Indian idol! But our South Indian TV actors hardly have any listing, let alone reviews. SS has a healthy 7 reviews but that's not enough. He needs another 30 or so to get him into the front page alongside all the North Indian TV stars. (Btw, what about all your other favourite south Indian stars like Brida Das, Vijay Adhiraj, Deepa Venkat, Meena, etc??)

SS UPDATE

Guys, I know some of you may have been in touch with Saakshi but are not comfortable sharing information or impressions with the rest of the world. If so, feel free to use me as a conduit for broadcasting -- I have already put up some such information gathered by our Anandham sleuths in the SS website that I maintain. Now, here's more I picked up recently from parties who wish to remain anonymous.

First of all, after a brief hiatus, SS will soon reappear in Lakshmi and his character will develop further. Watch out for it. (Perhaps I can resume writing my "Taming of the shrew" fiction after all?) SS's role in Nam Kudumbam is a negative one but he still has a hero's profile. (Can anyone watch out for this serial and upload it somewhere without falling foul of copyright laws?)
• Eljay, this one's for you. You don't have to die. That guy standing next to Kushboo wasn't SS sans make-up; SS wasn't at the Nam Kudumbam launch ceremony!

SS in Lakshmi

As some of you may know, our SS got engaged last week to a reluctant Nethra. I understand the wedding will take place soon although the Arjun character graciously told Nethra that he left it to her to determine when the marriage should take place. But in yesterday's episode there was a new twist -- Nethra being discovered pregnant, presumably by her old flame Jeeva -- or at least, that's what she leads him to believe. (Some viewer wrote that there was a scene some time ago when Jeeva got drunk and Nethra took advantage of him, whatever that means. I have no idea as I am a part-time viewer of Lakshmi, tuning in only when SS appears 😉

So, I wonder what our poor Arjun character is in for. Does Nethra marry an unsuspecting Arjun so that her child can have a father? Does Arjun step in to marry a pregnant Nethra, ostensibly to give her respectability, but in reality because her status makes no difference to his real agenda of milking her of her wealth.

What do you folks think? I have so far enjoyed seeing our SS play the role of a rogue in Lakshmi. He's played it to the hilt and makes the rogue a lovable character. But it saddens me to think he's going to be cuckolded 😭 that is, if he is unsuspecting. But, on the other hand, if he knowingly marries her, then he would have sunken really low, even for a rogue😭

Thanks Bon for letting me know that the guy next to Khushboo was not SS. Now I can just keep remembering him in that nice pink shirt with the cream colored pants.
