The heated exchange, epaulette tearing off and pinning on (aka flag-day) in the next episode.

Gradual thawing of the ice (100 episodes or 3 months, i.e., they bump into one another, smile awkwardly and part.)

Priyan-ACD face-off one episode. Freeze.

Priyan shooting ACD next episode, ending with admission into ICU. Freeze.

Priya arriving at hospital and final making up in next episode.

Then, another 10 episodes of running around the bushes singing the latest hits. This time they are both uninhibited because Sigamani has kicked the bucket and AC's parents are still doing their Kaasi rounds.

Maybe AC's parents then drown in Kaasi or in another tsunami somewhere and AC has to observe 1 year of mourning. So, another year of him and Priya running around the bushes.

Meanwhile, a new crook emerges in town and AC has a fighting match with him and ends up with a broken leg in hospital for another 6 months. (Btw, he is supposed to be a policeman and we have yet to see him doing a kungfu or a judo or karate, how sad!)

In other words, Cheyar will think of new ways of dragging on the romance and delaying the marriage until they both actually reach middle age (50 or thereabouts).

Actually 60 vayasa kalyanam may be more appropriate. ACD will by then have become JC. He will have piled on some weight, as will have Priya. His hair will have greyed, so no real need for Brylcream by then. No action for sure. But there will be romantic moments as I expect him to still have plenty of charm even at 60 ;-)

And, a 60 vayasu kalyanam for ACD-Priya may be a fitting end to the whole Anandham series, which started with what appeared to be a 60 vayasu kalyanam for Mr and Mrs RK.
