Suntv's style of operation is to send every one to jail so they will get a break. Guess Shanti's going through her house arrest now.

Bon/Eljay, if I were you, I would not put up my hopes. They said they will end 1000 episode. Nothing happened and they said it will end in December, again nothing happened. Now March............ hmmmm...... we will be so lucky.

Happy Pongall folks.

Was Anandham aired yesterday? Or did some other special programme replace it on the eve of Pongall? I suppose Anandham won't be aired tonight (14 Jan) and tomorrow (15 Jan).

I have the duty of doing Friday's update, which I usually do Saturday morning here in Singapore. However, this Saturday morning, I may seek some other form of dramatic entertainment other than watching an online video of Friday's Anandham. Yes, the one and only Lalu Prasad Yadav will be giving a public talk on the turnaround of Indian railways and I am sure it will be an entertaining talk. Will howl for help in updating if I do decide to go watch Lalu.

I will be glad to help you out, Bon, for this special cause. One condition, we need a gist of the talk together with howlers, if any. Yes, for this, I will even put myself through one extra day of watching the show.

Thanks, Eljay. Given your interest, I have greater interest in signing up for the Lalu show, so I have just done that ;-) But I shall not give a blow-by-blow account, only a commentary on his performance and, of course, a verbatim rendition of howlers. I'm sure his performance will be rather like Kandu's appearance;-)

Btw, is it true that there are Lalu dolls, Lalu chocolates and even Lalu cosmetics (who on earth would wear them?)

I will rate it as WW as our hero was shown on the screen for a longer time & the hope of Kandhu's reentry

In fact, our hero was shown in a blue kurta with long sleeves, and the poor man worked all night long, while our heroine waited in bed in a red sari, and finally fell asleep waiting! They kept showing the clock to tell us that it was 10 p.m, then midnight, then 2 a.m and so on, until Priya woke up and came and saw ACD still sitting in front of the laptop.

Anandam was indeed aired on wednesday& our hero was given a greater screen presence after a long time.But unfortunately no romance with mono syllable dialogues bet. them. ACD was shown working all thru the night while his darling wife waited for him in the bedroom. I will rate it as WW as our hero was shown on the screen for a longer time , the hope of Kandhu's reentry & some police action.

On the irritable side shanti is back to solve the problem of anitha/arjun. God knows how long this drab will last.
