Navi-Dimple as Agam-Nimrit Continued... (My Story, PART 27)
We start off from the point where Nimrit finds out that Amrit is talking again and after meeting her at the palace, Agam and Nimrit are on the bike, riding back home!
As Agam and Nimrit reach home, Nimrit still looks a bit upset as she contemplates whether or not to tell Agam about Amrit. Agam notices her quiet behaviour and thinks he will talk to her once they are in their room. Sunita is waiting for them to let them know that Mahi is coming the next day and that she is really worried. Once Agam and Nimrit are inside, Sunita tells them about Mahi's arrival and Nimrit looks more worried than before. But Agam assures both of them that he will not let that kabaadi mistreat anyone in the house now. He says that he has earned a little bit of money to shut him up for now and that they are prepared to leave the house if need arises.
Sunita still sounds a bit worried, so Nimrit assures her and says her son Agam will not let anything bad happen to their family and that they will all stand by one another, offering each other support, no matter what. Agam tells Sunita that they are tired and that she should go sleep too. But Nimrit says she will spend some time with Sunita in order to calm her down, but Sunita notices that Nimrit is also worried so she asks Agam to take her upstairs and not to worry about her.
Agam and Nimrit go to their room and get freshened up before hitting the bed. When Nimrit comes out of the washroom, she sees Agam lying on the bed, and goes sits on the bed and looks at him, she wonders whether or not to say something.
Agam: Apne kuch kaha Nimrit ji?
Nimrit: Erm, nahi toh... Erm, haan...
Agam: Kya?
Nimrit: Woh, mujhe aapse kuch kehna tha...Agam: Toh kahiye na... Kya aap bhi maa ki tarah us kabaadi ko lekar pareshaan hain kya?
Nimrit: Nahi Agam ji, Papaji ke aane se koi pareshaani nahi hai..
Agam: Toh phir kya baat hain?
Nimrit: Pata nahi kaise kahu...
Agam: Kaise matlab? Aap mujhse jo kehna chahti hain, keh sakti hain!
Nimrit: Par...
Agam: Agar aap mujhse I love you kehna chahti hain toh jaldi kahiye... mujhe neend aa rahi hain...
Nimrit: Theek hain, aap so jaiye...
Agam: Are, main toh mazak kar raha hu Nimrit ji... bataiye na, kya baat hain?
Nimrit: Woh jab hum palace gaye the... toh...
Agam: Are, aap itna ruk ruk kar kahengi toh saari raat yuhi nikal jayegi... kal kaam par nahi jaana hai kya?
Nimrit: Main bolne ki koshish toh kar rahi hu na... rehne dijiye, aap so jaiye...
Agam: (Gets up and puts his arms around Nimrit's shoulders) Bataiye, kya baat hain?
Nimrit: (Looks into Agam's eyes) Woh Amrit Di bol sakti hain...
Agam: Achcha? Mujhe toh pata tha ki woh itne dino se natak hi kar rahi hain...
Nimrit: Agam ji! Woh natak nahi kar rahi thi... Lekin main toh is baat se pareshaan hu ki woh aapko maaf karne ke liye tayyar hi nahi hain?
Agam: Kya? Maine kya kiya hain? Aur waise bhi, itna sab kuch karne ke baad use sabse maafi mangni chahiye... khaas kar ke aapse!
Nimrit: Agam ji, aap meri baat to suniye... Unhone mujhse toh maafi maang li, aur maine unhe maaf bhi kar diya.. lekin woh aapse ab bhi naraaz hain...
Agam: Toh rahe mujhse naraaz, mujhe koi farak nahi padta. Aur waise bhi, naraaz toh main unsse hu. Woh kaun hoti hai mujhse naraz hone wali...
Nimrit: Agam ji, aap mere pati ho kar meri hi Di ke khilaaf...
Agam: Toh kya usne aapki behen hone ka ek bhi farz pura kiya hain kya?
Nimrit: Mujhe pata hain ki aapke aane ke baad Di ke man main...
Agam: Toh kya aap bhi uski tarah mujhe hi doshi maanti hain? Aapko lagta hain ki meri wajah se unka dimaag kharab ho gaya hain?
Nimrit: Nahi Agam ji, lekin agar aapne badla lene ke liye woh sab nahin kiya hota...
Agam: Toh iska matlab aap bhi mujhe hi galat maanti hain... Are usne itna kuch kiya, par aapke aakhon par ab bhi patti lagi hui hain! Had hoti hain bholepan ki...
Agam gets really annoyed that things always come down to this, and Nimrit just never understands. He storms off with the pillow in his hand and goes to the balcony and sleeps on the bed there. Nimrit tries to stop him but he does not listen. She keeps thinking what Amrit said to her and feels like her world is caught up between two people she loves a lot. She then realizes that Agam is upset with her and that she needs to make him understand that she will always be by her side, and she is not blaming him for anything. But she wants to fix things between him and Amrit so that everyone can live their lives happily.
Nimrit goes to the balcony and sits on the bed and puts her hand on Agam's shoulder.
Nimrit: Agam ji...
Agam shrugs off her palm and turns the other way and sleeps. So Nimrit goes to the other side and then strokes his face gently. Agam moves her hand away and Nimrit gets upset. But she still keeps trying.
Nimrit: Agam ji, andar chaliye...
Agam doesn't move.
Nimrit: Chaliye na Agam ji...
She keeps moving him and Agam gets irritated.
Agam: Aap jaiye aur so jaiye!
Nimrit: Agam ji... aap meri baat bina sune hi yaha aa gaye. Mujhe toh aapse kehna tha ki main hamesha aapke saath hu, aur main aapko zimmedar nahi manti... Mujhe pata hain ki Di bhi galti thi...
Agam: Achcha, toh galti aapki behen ki bhi thi... lekin meri bhi...
Nimrit: Nahi Agam ji, Di ne aapke saath jo kiya, hamare saath jo kiya woh sab galat tha. Aur maine har baar un par bharosa kiya, jab ki aap har baar mujhe samjhate rahe. Aur mujhe pata hain ki aap galat nahi ho. Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha hain. Lekin main aapko yaha naraaz ho kar nahi sone dungi... Aur agar aap yaha so jayenge, toh main bhi saari raat yahi baithi rahungi.
Agam: Are, yeh kaisi zid hain?
Nimrit: Toh aap jo kar rahe hain woh zid nahi hain?
Agam: (Folds his hands...) Meri Ma, mujhe maaf karo!
Nimrit: Maafi toh mujhe maangni chahiye... main har baar aapko naraaz kar deti hu.
Agam: Chaliye, chodiye in sab baaton ko!
They go to their room and Agam lies down. Nimrit lies down too and then goes close to Agam, and puts her head on his shoulders. Agam is quiet for a few seconds, but then forgives her and puts his arms around her.
Its morning the next day and Agam gets ready and talks to Sunita about Mahi's arrival. He tells her that he will be back from Dhaba when Mahi comes back in the evening. Nimrit asks Sunita to not worry and that they will all make Papaji understand about the money Sunita returned to his brother.
Meanwhile at Tej's house, Tej is getting ready to leave and Nimral is talking with her husband regarding a girl's proposal for Tej. Outside, Amrit has come to thank Tej in person, for all the help he provided while she was recovering and she overhears Nirmal's conversation. The flowers she has in her hands drop on the floor and just then Nirmal sees her. So she calls her inside and Amrit says she's getting late and that she needs to go. Nirmal gets a bit surprised by Amrit's reaction, and says she only just got there, Tej should be coming down any minute, but Amrit just picks up the flowers and gives them to Nirmal and says to pass them along to Tej and also pass on her note of thanks.
Amrit leaves, leaving behind a very confused Nirmal who walks inside with the huge bunch of flowers and while she puts them in different vases, Tej comes down and asks why there are so many flowers around the house! Nirmal tells him that Amrit had dropped by but then left in a rush. Tej doesn't really care and just says that he is glad she is better now, especially since it means that he no longer has to go see her or help her with anything. Nirmal says that he is being very rude, but also says she understands where all his hatred is coming from. But she makes him understand that good nature is what separates him from her, and that he should always remain the person he is.
On the way back to the palace, Amrit is really confused as to why Tej getting marriage proposals is affecting her so much. She has all kinds of flashbacks. She remembers the time when Tej and Agam worked together to expose all her misdeeds... She also remembers the time when Tej started liking Nimrit and feels a bit jealous... But then she remembers the time when she first met Tej and the wonderful time she had with him at a local dhaba! But then she realizes that he's just a common man, and no matter what he has done for her, he hates her, and she hates him too.
