WU for 9/4

So episode begins with our amit babu in his cute favorite blue shirt searching for something in the files. Amu comes there and asks him what he is looking for. Amit tells her that things are so disorganized that he cannot find anything when he needs them ( amit you are not the only one almost everybody is sailing the same boat dude). He further tells her that he is planning a surprise for her. Amita tells him to surprise himself. Amit tells her how can he go to Thailand without her. Amu is all excited. Amit tells her that's why he was looking for her passport. He also tells her that before they have kids he wants to go on a world tour with her. (Amit kya baat hai!) Amita gets all dreamy aur sheikhchili ke tarah starts planning about a complete makeover. She decides to loose more weight, buy new set of clothes, cut her hair etc etc. Amit jokingly says that all the money will be over before the vacation to Thailand and they will have to see the beaches on the tv in their bedroom.(Leave to Amit for his one liners. Kya baat hai. Amit you remind me of my hubby). Both smile and hug eachother.
Meanwhile in the other end of Shah mansion Tina has realized that Fallu wants a grandchild and as usual they don't want Amita to give them their first grandchild. Tina wants Riya to have her baby before our Amu because everybody loves the first grandchild. (Lame Huh!) Riya gives a reason that her doc said she cannot get pregnant for three months and beside Rohan is not in town. Amu comes in and asks for weighing machine, Tina asks her why she needed it. Amu tells her that she has been feeling heavy lately and needs to know why. Tina says to her that she has been very careful with her food, then there is only one reason why she is feeling heavy, there might be a good news. Amita says that They don't want to have a baby for two years since its a big responsibility and walks away. Tina and Riya are relieved hearing this.
Amit is on the phone booking tickets and amu weighs herself and shocked to see that she has gained 5 kgs. amit tells her that they have time and going in the month end, she can easily loose some weight. She suddenly realizes something and asks Amit for the date he tells her 12th. She goes to the calendar and starts counting something, she again verifies the date. Amit tells her that he is disturbing her. amita realizes that she has missed her periods and quickly leaves. Amit asks her where she was going she tellls him that she is going to get passport pictures. Amit asks her to come soon.

Amita calls Kajal and asks her the fastet way check if someone is pregnant . Kajal is excited but amu tells her it's for her friend. Kajal tells amu to get pregnancy test kit from chemist store. Amu rushes,but she is not comfortable asking the chemist. She goes to two stores but she is not able to ask. At third store she writes what she wants and the chemist gives her in a brown envelope . Amit calls and asks her why she is taking so long. Amu tells him she had to get some stuff. Amit tells he is going to bhatuk's house and will see her at home.

Later Amit returns home and Fallu asks him about the baby. Amit tells him that bhatuk is frustrated because the baby cries all night. Fallu tells him that these things are common but parents really enjoy. Amit asks her how the function, she and Kirit had gone to was. Fallu goes on and on. She asks him when they are going to have a baby and amit tells her in two years and Fallu is not very happy to hear this. Amita interrupts and tells amit that she wants to talk to him. She tells Fallu that she will explain everything to her soon. She takes amit to the bedroom and amit tells her why she didn't let him talk to his mother Amita very plainly tells him that she is pregnant. Amit has a little smile on his face but at the same time worried. Amita tells him that the baby that was supposed to come after two years will be here in nine months. She tells him the filmy dialogue aap papa banne wale hain. Itna thanda reaction parents banne ka Maine ka hi dekha hi nahin. In a way I liked it because it looked natural and not the over the top mushy sugary nautanki that they show in other serials. Amit tells Amita that they Should sleep and deal with it in the morning. Amit, amu and Fallu are having sleepless night. Fallu then thinks they have more chance of giving her a good news if they go to Thailand for their holiday. Fallu ky baat hai! Next day morning Fallu comes in excited with Thailand tickets to A2's room. Amit tells her hat they are not going for the holiday and walks away. Amita wants to tell her about the pregnancy but Fallu tells her that she does not need any explanation and walks away. Riya who is eavesdropping is happy and our poor amu all tense.( felt really sorry for amit and Amita, Socha tha kya, kya hogaya, but this is life unexpected things do happen. I felt bad because such an important thing in their life and they are not able to enjoy it.)
