hayee santi !
u wrote so beautifully and perfectly re ! I think Haq is a very strong question that society rises every time and we are so much conditioned to it that it controls our actions in a way our heart does not wish. Like, when I was young I lived at a place where a drunken neighbour often used to create ruckus at his home late night, shouting at his wife, beating children,Throwing stuffs around... once it became so unbearable I asked my father to go and scold the man ( i was young then, i used to thing a big scolding from my very strict and disciplined father would make him tremble in his knees and shut his mouth), he said we have no HAQ to interfere what he was doing in his own home.
Now what is different from the show last nite ? nothing...a man because he has the social certificate of authority upon a household and his wife abused him verbally, insulted him in front of everyone, about to launch physical assaults and all others stood watching. even vikram after initial tussle had to bow down and leave the place. becoz even though he knew he left Sita to face Ravan he had no haq of Ram to fight back and demolish him.
Nani told him to go and save her and face her abuser from HAQ as a friend. but see, he hesitated. bcoz a friend's HAQ is very limited compared to the HAQ of a husband and society will wage tongue inevitably if any friend tries to stretch that thin line of limit ... when situation worsened then ofcourse he determined to jump into action, throwing doubts hesitations from the balcony, but he was timely stopped by saurav.
I think the cvs done a grt job showing that shova's decision of giving divorce was not an ounce influenced by vikram. it was needed for the future of VIbha relation.
