Sharad's on-screen character inspired by Akshay's in Bhool Bhulaiyaa'

After shooting bullets and throwing punches in 'Goliyon ki Raslila Ram - Leela' and 'Lai Bhari', Sharad Kelkar is back in fiction show. Sharad's last small screen appearance was opposite Kritika Kamra in medical drama 'Kuch Toh Log Kahenge'. After his successful stint with big screen, actor Sharad Kelkar returns to Television with &TV's crime and mystery series- 'Agent Raghav- Crime Branch'.

An integral part of the Crime Branch, Sharad's character comes across as intelligent, thoughtful and an extremely sharp man. The series will be shot across the country to give it an authentic feel. Sharad was influential in developing the look and body language of 'Agent Raghav'. Sharad agrees that the character is greatly inspired by that of Akshay Kumar in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'.

Sharad confirms, "I will be back on television as 'Agent Raghav'. It's an unusual role and the audience will see me in a different light. 'Raghav' is highly intelligent and uses his skills in solving difficult crime mysteries. I am extremely excited about this new show!"

Currently, Sharad is gearing up for an intense and exciting promo shoot that will hit the airwaves soon. It's only a matter of time when we see him in his new avatar.

Close on the heels of 'The Voice India' and keeping the momentum alive, &TV is all set to unveil its next weekend blockbuster - a fast paced crime and mystery series titled 'Agent Raghav - Crime Branch'. Sharad Kelkar returns to television post a long hiatus in and as 'Agent Raghav'. The show replaces the channel's singing reality 'The Voice India' and is slated to go air September 5th, every Saturday and Sunday at 9.00 pm.

&TV out to bolster line-up with Agent Raghav' & Deal or No Deal'

&TV is all set to launch two new shows this September - Agent Raghav', a crime fiction, and a family game show Deal or No Deal'.

Produced by Contiloe Pictures, Agent Raghav' will be played by Sharad Kelkar. The show is slated to go on air from September 5 and will replace singing reality show, The Voice', at the weekend 9.00 pm slot.

Meanwhile, Deal or No Deal', which is also launching on September 5, will be aired at 8.00 pm. The show will be hosted by TV and film actor Ronit Roy.

A source close to the development said, "Agent Raghav' will be shot extensively across the country. The makers are currently scouting for locations. As for Deal or No Deal', the show will be presented in a different avatar from the one witnessed before. With Deal or No Deal', &TV further strengthens its non-fiction offering, while it enters crime genre with Agent Raghav'."

Produced by Endemol India, Deal or No Deal', an international adaption, returns on Indian television screen on &TV after nine years.
