Ok some more from my side..
This is meant specially for our loveguru 😉 😳
Who do you love more your Sandy or your Mom?hmmm.. since you called me loveguru.. let me tell you one time.. its never either or in a relationship.. God has given us such a big heart that there's place for everyone.. I love both my mom and my Sandy and my dad and my brother equally... there's no choice there...
How did you first met ur Sandy? He was my brother's +2 classmate.. so I met him when I was in my 8th...😉.. Don't remember the first time but I used to always think that whats this guy.. coz he always used to call my brother from downstairs and never come up... until one day he decided to...
How did you know he was "the one"?hmm.. need to think on this one... actually, to tell you honestly.. didn't know that for a long time.. see.. like Sandy, he didn't let me know his feelings for a long time... although he gave me hints once in a while, they were very rare.. it came to a point where I was unsure myself.. especially coz he was willing to let me go for another friend of his... poora filmy kahani hai yaar.. we exchanged letters but didn't come out with exact feelings...but I think one day he just couldn't hold on anymore.. he told me and rest is history...
How did ur Sandy proposed you?It was not one incident.. he's not the kind who will go down on his knees and propose.. infact he never really did a formal proposal.. the first time I thought he meant he loved me was when he gave me Atlas shrugged adn asked me to read a particular page.. in which one of the heroes tell the protagonist that he loves her... and another time he did it through a song which is when I got completely certain that he was infact telling me his feelings... its a telugu song but the essence is that whether you say "U" or "me", it only means "hum"... and then finally one day on the terrace, he just said "Marry me.." like i said before, not sure if it was a request or an order or what but I was more than willing to go with it...
What is the best thing you like about him? He's extremely emotional and very helpful to people..and I don't think I could ever love the way he does.. unconditionally...
Do you have any favorite stories from your marriage? Our wedding became quite a story coz his family opposed it... but then when you say favorite.. let me think of sweet ones.. although we are telugu people, his ancestors are tamilians and we had to do the wedding in their traditional styles so I had to wear this tamilian nine yards saree.. In one ceremony in the marriage, the dulha has to make his wife sit on his lap and tie a dhaga around her waist.. aur mera kamar tho kamra hai.. so, he was actually afraid for me that I would be embarassed if the dhaga would not be sufficient and was so tense till he made a complete circle of the waist and tied it.. after that he was like "phew"... that was very sweet.. I was laughing away to glory...
What do you think is the most important thing in a relationship?Love.. it crosses all barriers.. it makes you do things that you never thought possible... although cliche'd its very true..
What drives a relationship?love again... and passion
Is it true that love takes a backseat with time? Its been 6 years (plus another 10 before that..)and it hasn't... and tell me does your mom ever love you less... yeah it may take different forms.. see.. the most important thing is even though you are in a relationship, you should not force yourself on the other person. Both of you need time and space from each other... I think most people do not understand this and they become very possessive of each other and thats when problem starts... you need some space to breathe... thats the metomorphosis that your love needs to undergo...
If the first love is a failure, do you justify falling in love again?yes... thats why I said earlier also.. I don't just believe that there's this one person who's made for you.. I think there are many who are made for you, you just need to find atleast one of them...
Which place you think is more romantic..Switzerland or Kerala backwaters?Do you want me to give you another cliche'? If you are with the person you love... then, even a fish pond in your house is great...but practically speaking...well, I haven't been to Switzerland but been to Kerala... its wonderful...I think water has a better effect than hills and other things on romance..
Who is the best romantic actor?Varun and Aamir...
Which is the most romantic book you read? Favourite character?I don't read romantic books.. I am surprised why..
Which is the most romantic movie you have seen? Favourite character?I think the most romantic scenes are in "As good as it gets" but otherwise DDLJ was good..
What was the happiest moment of your life?
When my Sandy gave me Atlas Shrugged and asked me to read a particular paragraph... I think that was the first time he gave me some hope...
What are you most proud of?My loveguru status...😉... But I am proud of my upbringing... my parents were way ahead of their time...
What are the most important lessons you've learned in life?Never lie and honesty pays.. in anything.. personally and professionally
What is your earliest memory?I remember sitting in my school along with my brother and his friend at the flag pole and having lunch...
How would you like to be remembered? As someone who spread cheer wherever she went...
Loved ur answers.. 😳 Specially the date scene.. But dont you think that we are done with the scenes..😉😆 Thanks Monu... very thoughtful and loveguru type questions.. I now feel, I can have a show of my own... Loveguru at midnight... 😉
