Episode begins with Jaiswal taunting KD. He has got Ashwathama arrested. He is n courtroom already.Everyone is stunned.
Jaiswal is trying to prove that this is the man who claims himself to be AAshwathama and is responsible for the death of the reporter. Jaiswal has made a mould out of the footprints found in the jungle and in the police station and it has matched the footprints of this giant man.
He instigates Bhushan to speak. Bhushan reveals this man is his son Bheema. Kd is disturbed. Bhushan says his child was suffering from a peculiar disease from birth which made him exclusively large. The people of his village laughed and teased his son. Therefore he changed his place and took a job in this temple. He kept his son in the nearby cave to keep him away from the limelight. He also reveals that he had actually removing the footprints of his son when Pujari had seen him.Bheema was in the police station also.BHushan also said Bheema had not killed anybody.
Jaiswal however says he has proof.He brings a flower as evidence. Jaiswal says it was found at the crime place. Same flower was found in his cave also. Bhushan however says that Bheema has a garden in his cave. He had went to the temple to pray to Lord shiva with that flower.
The cameraman is in court today, Although paralysed Jaiswal brings him here so that he can recognize Bheema as the killer. KD finally speaks when the cameraman falls from his wheel chair out of fear.
Bheema loses his cool and attacks Jaiswal . Everyone is shocked.Bhushan asks him to stop and go with the police. At police station KD meets Bheema but KD is attacked too. KD believes Bheema is innocent and convinces him that he will save them both.
Kd with Bhushan who is apologetic to Kd. He forgives him but asks him to speak the truth. Bhushan says the reporter had learnt about the cave and somehow had learnt that Aswathama visits the temple at midnight. Actually Bhushan had asked his son to worship Lord shiva on Mondays that too at midnight so that nobody notices him. He tried to reason out with the reporter.At late night Bhushan knowing the reporter would go there rushed to the temple but found Bheema with the sword and reporter already dead. He took the sword from him and asked Bheema to run away. According to him Bheema is child like and cannot murder anyone.
Kd in offce. Adira says besides the letter A there is something more they should look into.Kd asks who had called the police.Its some Ajay Dutta, a hotel owner whsoe hotel was built after Aswathama myth made this fort popular. He said his car had broke down before the fort and then he heard the cameraman screaming. He reached the spot and found Bhushan with the sword. He called the police thereafter. KD says he also has a motive to murder and accuses him.
Then Acharyaji is cross questioned. KD shows him a picture of crime scene taken next day morning where the earthen lamp is still lightened. Normally, the lamp should have gone off in eight hours. To this Acharyaji says that on Mondays the lamp is kept for the whole night. He like every Monday had come at midnight to add more oil. KD now questions that besides Bhushan or his son two other people were there that night..
Finally, KD brings in the witness box Vimal shroff, the chief editor of the channel these two guys worked for. As per KD, on that night the editor received a message which said 'Ashwathama hatha' which is a code language to say that the reporter is dead.The message sender is the cameraman himself. Because he has little knowledge about the English language he had save Shroff's name as 'Aditor sir'. This is the link to the letter A.
Shroff denies initially but finally spills the beans. He and the cameraman had planned the murder to make a fake Ashwathama story.The plan was to prove Ashwathama lives there and anyone who sees him is hacked to death. The cameraman was the one who had stealed the sword and killed the reporter. He texted Shroff immediately.He was suppose to act to have gone mad and so he did but Bhushan was there with the sword and therefore Ashwathama story didn't happen as planned.
At hospital Shroff manipulated his drugs causing his paralysis so that his secret never comes out.
Thus another case was solved. Jaiswal lost another case
Verdict : A good case but was way too much lengthy. That large man was Bhushan's son could have been revealed early because we had guessed that already.
