Hi all-thanks so much for reading (or rather tolerating) my gushing and ranting over AV episodes the last few months. After the steady decline in quality at this point the show has become intolerable to watch and I simply cannot get myself to watch it anymore for Vinny or what is left of Vishal's character. I apologize if I have said anything in the past few months that has hurt anyone's feelings directly/indirectly-I had no such intentions. Take care.

March 25th I am not sure what gives me the motivation to even come and write about the episodes lately. The story has gone completely haywire and hardly any of it makes sense anymore-as sad as it sounds I am almost thankful that there is news of this show probably ending in a couple weeks. Urmi is helping Kripa bring Aadesh and Sneha together. Who had given whom the Aathvan Vachan? We are busy watching Urmi play match maker for her sister's husband and is determined to bring them together. Odd!!!

Today why when Kripa was cleaning out her cabinets did she have jewelry and colored saris? Obviously she doesn't wear any of that. And why does Aadesh randomly remember Manali today? After all these days. And Urmi? The same gal who taken a promise from Aadesh to not remarry and Aadesh who had promised no other girl would come in his life is SO incredibly smitten by Sneha that he hardly seems to remember that Urmi exists and that Manali at some point in the past existed in his life and he has many memories with them too. And if Sneha in fact does reciprocate feelings for Aadesh then what was the point of showing her so STILL in love with Sameer???

Typical Sony-taking a perfectly unique plot line and butchering it to a point where there is no chance of redemption.

-----

March 23rd Am not going to say much but just wanted to warn u guys to save ur time and not watch the episode. These really are filler episodes-it's apparent that Vinny isn't available for shoots and so the track is being diverted for sometime. The whole thing was lame because all Aadesh had to do was raise his voice once and clarify with Sneha that he hadn't filled the tender and so he had nothing to do with it. And Aadesh's rant on Tarun will be short lived too probably as he'll eventually have to forgive his brother.

Btw had Vinny been available for shoots then Vishal's finger injury could've perfectly been worked into the plot line. How nice would've that been!!!

March 19th I felt for Urmi and Kripa today. I know they both have a good heart and have Aadesh (and Sneha's) best interests at heart but really they first should figure out both want before jumping in head first. They read Aadesh's diary (what a serious invasion of privacy may I add) and figured that he loved Sneha but what about her? If she had loved Aadesh she would've never married and left Aadesh for Sameer. Even now the only person close to her heart is Sameer. If anything this will simply reiterate to Aadesh that the only person Sneha loves/loved is Sameer and that while Aadesh may've loved Sneha in the past he is no longer interested in her that way. It seems like right now the old feelings are re-surfacing but that's all they are-old feelings.

On a different note it's interesting how Aadesh would've probably never told Manali about his first love (the fact that Sneha didn't exist in the creatives mind at all at that time is an altogether different story) but he has told Urmi about it. He hasn't told her it's Sneha but he has opened up to her about what love is-what first love is-etc. He has managed to talk to Urmi about what he never opened up to Manali or Sneha about.

Also it seems like Neelam will finally succeed with Tarun at some level-her filling his ears may just work in the coming weeks it seems like.

-----

March 16th I am pretty much done with this show. Am fed up of waiting around for anything remotely Aadesh-Urmi related again---the original concept is once and for all gone at this point. This whole Aadesh-Sneha business doesn't get my attention at all-gave it a few weeks-didn't work. So I know I'm not gonna care for Sneha bringing Aadesh-Urmi close if it does happen down the road-it would've been much more fun with just the two of them in the picture (I have beaten this line to death by now). The only bit I enjoyed today was Vishal's expressions throughout his five-star hotel experience. Classic expressions.

-----

March 12th Oh how much more fun would it have been had all this happened to Aadesh and Urmi-esp the dharmshaala part-hey a girl can dream right. But no somehow it's supposedly more appealing with Sneha instead. And of course there's some strange connection that this plot has with the Aathvaan Vachan that I clearly am not picking up on.

The only amusing part of this episode was the watch bit-because I remember reading somewhere that Vishal's watch is a Breitling that's a good $2000/$2500. And he traded it off for a thousand rupees on the show. Aside from that how was he planning to pay for the two rooms at the nice hotel? And why not just borrow a phone at the reception first and ask for a car to be sent to them. And who just gets in a car (even if it's that aunty/uncle) without telling them where they want to go or what not? They could've probably even tried to borrow that aunty/uncle's phone if they had one. Definitely not a well thought out story line. It comes off as very forced.

March 11th Aadesh has a driver!!! Why is he driving to Panchgini? His driver drives him to office so then why not for his bidding? It's actually a blooper because when Urmi fakes her sprained ankle Aadesh even says to tell the driver they won't be going to Panchgini-so why the ride to Panchgini and back without a driver?

Why did the two business travelers (especially Sneha) have luggage when they left home if she didn't intend to stay back in a hotel. What exactly was packed in that bag she refused to hand over to Aadesh the other day when they left if it wasn't something for a overnight trip (today she gave him a hard time when he started to drive towards a hotel to stay the night). Dumb. And it's nice that Aadesh has called up home to check how Urmi is doing-NOT!!! The thought hasn't even crossed his mind-I could understand if he was pre-occupied before the bidding but on the ride home maybe???

I'm glad that AV is now down to the typical stereotypical storyline(s) that has been beat to death over and over again in most serials. First they are forced to go together on the business meeting, then Sneha 'defends' him to an outsider but keeps up her attitude, the car is stolen on the ride back home (shock!!! NOT!!!), will now be forced to share a hotel room (whatever!!!) and some random loser will say something that PO's Aadesh (the most worn out scene in television history).

To think a month ago this serial was tackling something original with Aadesh defending Urmi against Buaji and essentially his entire family.

And to beat it all the most cliched of all Shastriji/wife proposing Aadesh marry Sneha today---have they even met Sneha??? It's become more like 'lets just get our son-in-law married' somehow or another. And this all the while Shastriji is claiming today that there is a fine line between friendship and love. Umm-in that case aren't Aadesh and Urmi the best of friends???
-----

March 10th Again nothing to analyze (I am sorry that the title of this thread has been misleading the last two days since I am not analyzing all that much). Wish Urmi could be sent packing because then I too could go packing from this show. I can't help but wonder how it was a problem a month ago with an 18 y/o Urmi living under the same roof with Aadesh but it's no longer an issue with another woman the same age as him and also a widower living with them. I guess all the people in society they (as in Buaji/Kripa) were worried about a month ago probably moved out of town. I MISS buaji-she was more entertaining and always served as the catalyst to amazing A-U scenes :-(

(The dhaba Aadesh stops at today after they had driven SO far was the same one he had brought Urmi to back in the golden days.)

-----

March 9th Nothing to analyze today. Am tired of this never-ending attempt to stretch the 'we are no longer friends and never ever will be' thing between Aadesh and Sneha. I think we as the audience have gotten the point by now-no need to hammer it in.

Urmi was SO cute in the scene where both Aadesh and Sneha (kind of) yell at her for trying to get them to make up. Her expressions and her whole 'tantrum' about how they have already joined hands to yell at her (btw watch Pallavi's face during the part when Aadesh is telling Urmi if she does this again he will surely yell at her---she is holding back a smile-I think probably cause of Urmi's cuteness).

Panchgini-how lame-I am TOTALLY with Neelam on this one (btw wouldn't Urmi have had a easier time bringing them together if she went too). On a side note-am glad that of the three of them Urmi had the nicest piece of luggage ;-)

-----

March 6th So after wasting countless brain cells thinking of all the plot possibilities that we may see or that could've been but no longer can be one really stuck out. Sneha's character would've been welcomed (by all of us LOL) a bit more I think if she had come after A-U married. Her entry would've been nice if she came during the awkward phase with a married A-U trying to sort things out. It would've saved Aadesh's character from this nonsensical smitten stage. She could've helped both Aadesh and Urmi to come around to it. Of course giving them their space but serving as the indirect catalyst to bring them closer. I mean ideally there was no need for her entry at all but if they absolutely had to then it really should've been after A-U married.

-----

March 5th And so Mission Aadesh-Sneha (blah) reunion directed by Urmi starts. Go figure. I still can't come to understand one thing-both have lost their spouses. They been through the worst one could possibly go through and yet neither seems to understand it might be best to ley bygones be bygones-Aadesh seems to understand it actually-I wish he would just shout it out to Sneha once. I could have understood Sneha's being adamant in different circumstances but after losing your spouse you would think one would value and cherish what is left in life. It's apparent that since they are having such a hard time coming together-once they are together then it'll be more like 'inseparable'. (Why oh why couldn't it just be Manali then???)

Hate these stereotypes in Indian serials of the west-clearly here in the US (or UK or wherever) we aren't deprived of Indian food-it's not all about pizzas/burgers. Not sure where Ahuja lived in the UK. The dining table was fully seated-so no room for Urmi? :-( And what was the sandwich/juice scene all about? I know it was supposed to make a point-but eh.

Tarun cracks me up-the poor guy is a lost soul sometimes and has no idea what is going on. His wife is definitely more intuitive when it comes to all that.

So much for the business meeting-when the business head during the conference meeting is lost in his thoughts about Sneha and what not.

Urmi's park dhamki scene w/Aadesh was so cute (one I finally enjoyed after so long)-doesn't take much to get her way. All she had to say was she'll go alone. The Urmi scenes really make my day :-) Aside from that am really steadily losing interest in this show-don't know how long Urmi alone can get me to keep watching this.

Sorry about the depressing post(s) guys but this track just doesn't cut it for me. At this point it seems like there is no way to turn around and fix it either so I am not sure what I am even hoping for or why I keep watching (I guess it's like caffeine-once u are addicted it's hard to get off of it). The promo I posted yesterday pretty much shows they are intentionally distancing Aadesh from Urmi only so that later Sneha can come in and play fairy godmother to bring them close once again. Today's breakfast table scene was a perfect example. For an Aadesh who couldn't sit/stand a second without knowing Urmi's whereabouts (before and after Manali passed way)-today he sat with the rest and breakfasted without asking about Urmi once-so this Sneha has a hold over him that even Manali didn't. How totally lame.

-----

March 4th Just out of curiosity what does this track have to do with the aathvaan vachan anyway? If someone started watching this show right now they would have no clue what the title has to do with what's being portrayed in the show.

Why was the entire last scene from yesterday repeated today? It didn't seem that essential of a scene to repeat.

Ahuja made me laugh today-he told Urmi it's bad manners to get up from the breakfast table and then he got up himself to go call Sneha. Do as I say-not as I do.

We must indeed travel the road that has been tried and tested time and time again looks like. An alone Aadesh. An alone Sneha. An oblivious Urmi. Aadesh and Urmi will bring happiness back into Sneha's life. She will 'return the favor' by bringing them closer. All's hunky dory and we're all happy. (NOT!!!)

The monologue with Manali was semi-convincing (I know I'm hard to please)-in the list of the friends he mentioned losing didn't he forget that he has always had one that's been with him through thick and thin? Urmi can't finish breakfast properly without remembering that Aadesh hasn't eaten and on this side this one is caught up in his own land (I've a feeling that though he's decided to just let time work its way and give him something to work with in terms of Sneha it may be Urmi who will give him what he's looking for so that he can reach out to Sneha).

-----

March 3rd I am glad someone (as in Urmi) remembers Manali :-) I knew it wouldn't be too long before Kripa would start worrying about both Sneha and Aadesh and their happiness (after all no one seems to notice that while they see Urmi as a responsibility for Aadesh it is in fact Urmi who has managed to keep him going and brought a smile on his face time and time again after Manali left). Ahuja scored a brownie point by telling Kripa that he actually is with Aadesh on Aadesh wanting to focus all his attention on Urmi because of his promise as opposed to opting to marry. Of course the very next minute he lost the brownie point when he assured Kripa that soon enough happiness will return to both Sneha and Aadesh's life. There's no doubt Urmi will be the one bringing that happiness into their life by bringing them back together-wonder what she (and us too!!!) will lose out on in the process.

Aadesh is still walking around lost in his thoughts and semi-smitten (it is really odd for someone who is usually pretty practical and not at a loss for words even in emotional situations)-I don't know-you would think that after both having lost their spouses they would at least ask about each other's well being. Amongst all these supposed grown-ups it seems like Urmi is the only one who really knows how to communicate and get through to someone. I am definitely not looking forward to the episode where Urmi and Kripa agree that the best thing is for Aadesh and Sneha to get hitched-it's essentially Kripa's dream come true-a daughter in law, her son hitched and Urmi taken care of in the process with Aadesh and Sneha taking care of her (eh!!!). From Sneha's POV and what I make of it the thought of her and Aadesh together has never crossed her mind-but then again it's can't take long to change that with the parents around.

I know I've been saying this over and over again but I just cannot convince myself to like this whole Urmi and Sneha becoming best friends business (and even more this new threesome team we will see down the road). I think today's scene with Urmi and Sneha was the first stepping stone in that direction. I thought we had already taken that route with Manali. Honestly I don't think I'll like it even when (and if) Sneha is the third wheel bringing A-U together.

On a last note-was watching an old AV episode from way back when-with the mangal sutra scene. Where Urmi finds Manali's MS and wants to keep it as she found it-Aadesh promises to buy her a new and better one. I wonder if that scene will hold relevance in the future or if we've lost that track altogether. At the time it seemed like that scene foreshadowed a whole lot. Not so sure about now.

-----

March 2nd Hmm don't really find anything to analyze. Will say though Urmi is adorable. She is so lost in her own innocence and naiveness and at the same time concerned for those she loves. She seems to understand the meaning of friendship better then anybody on that show!!! Looks like with the entrance of Sneha Manali has just taken a back seat (seriously until this new track I was under the impression that Manali had been Aadesh's first love). At some level even Urmi has just taken a back seat too-the same Aadesh that usually was 'Urmi Urmi Urmi' from morning to night didn't care that Urmi waited up for him for dinner and told her to eat as he's not hungry. Even then Urmi took it in stride and decided to see what was upsetting the other two. It's quite lame how being the lead she is always the third wheel when it comes to her and the male lead.

-----

Feb 27th It's pretty interesting that Pallavi's entry was made and nothing was announced beforehand or hasn't even come out afterwards. I wonder how long her role will be. Also I remember reading an article sometime mid-January if I remember correctly where there was mention that the track would now be heading towards A-U's marriage. The source had mentioned that the marriage scene was being worked on. So then either it really can't be that far away or they decided to change tracks later on. If they did change tracks I really don't understand why because the story was steadily moving. If they haven't changed tracks and marriage scene is still on the cards then that would be such an abrupt marriage-to introduce a new character who has a link to Aadesh's past.

Yesterday when I was thinking about the episode after re-watching it it struck me that the catty women drama had been showed to then contrast Ahuja's daughter who would be introduced as the 'ideal match' (or at least that's what I am betting my money on for now). So it indeed may lead to Kripa and Ahuja trying to work out a link-up between their kids.

I thought there was a scene yesterday that was really good portrayal of how society and its norms really shape how someone perceives something (unfortunately). The scene where Urmi walks to a worried Aadesh and amongst her talks puts her hand on his and he pulls away and later on puts her arms around his shoulder and he walks away. Before this whole catty woman drama had Urmi done the same thing Aadesh would've never made anything of what Urmi did (in fact there have been many moments in the past where he has hugged her). Someone came and questioned his and Urmi's intentions/proximity and he took it to heart for those moments. He defended Urmi in front of everybody but in private he was thinking about the 'accusations'. It's a sad scenario-such an innocent, pure and genuine relationship being questioned time and time again. Yet it'll take a third person to intervene and help Aadesh come to terms with the depth of his feelings. Bleh.

Just copy/pasting this is in from a reply later in this thread:

They've set up this serial so that the focus has always been on Aadesh and Urmi even in the days when Manali was in the picture. There were events time and time again when Manali would have a disagreement or be unhappy with Urmi and it would be Aadesh who would side with Urmi and help sort things out. It's really odd (and feels out of character to some extent) to bring in somebody who Aadesh has unresolved feelings for. It complicates the whole equation and as odd as it sounds (and probably over-simplistic and in turn unreal) but I liked the simple equation. There was enough depth in that with A-U's bond. I'm so used to saas-bahu serials having those love triangles and leads with unrequited love that it was such a welcome change in this show.

In the end when (and if) A-U end up together that'll still leave Pallavi alone. For a feel good show like this one has been it isn't going to feel all that good to just show her character leaving the way she came---alone. Honestly I feel they could've done without this new entry. There was so much to work on just with A-U. If he had married her (they could've skipped the typical over hyped dramatic weddings like in other serials) and taken it from there. So much to show in a post-married A-U. Would've been so interesting to watch. The whole change in the dynamics of their relationship over time would've held our attention quite well.

I'm guessing chances are even if his feelings do re-surface he'll probably manage to come past them and she never loved him anyway so it's not really an issue from her side. Or if she does develop feelings for him he'll be shown to be past his old feelings. Either way it's not a feel good ending for one of the three.

Btw forgot in my yap-that is right on-she really is 'his soul'-melodramatic or not ;-)

-----

Feb 26th Eh. Not a nice end to the week minus Pallavi fans who are in for a treat.

Definitely enjoyed the first half of the episode-was awesome!!! Loved Aadesh telling off that woman (Vishal looks really good when he is mad---handsome angry man-especially the part when he says 'enough!!!'). Buaji's drama was understandable from her perspective too-wonder if she is gone for sometime now or she'll return in time to hatch a plan with Kripa for hooking up Aadesh and his old friend (eww-it feels odd even thinking about it).

The best scene had to be when Urmi talked more sense then anybody has in quite a while and reminded Aadesh how people talk but why let it bother them as they know what the reality of their relationship is (she sounds adorable and grown up all at the same time). That whole scene was beautifully portrayed and she really has grown up in some sense. It was nice how she ruled out with him the things that could be bothering him and finally pinpointed what indeed was bothering him and helped him clear up his thoughts.

I forgot to say yesterday that one of the few moments I did enjoy in yesterday's episode was when Urmi is thinking to herself about Aadesh's routine and what he needs when etc. It's adorable that she is so well aware of it and remembers it all. One would think there would be no need to introduce someone else since she has it figured out but I guess not.

Ok this I would not have expected in my wildest dreams-an entire Kuch Kuch Hota Hai twist to the story. Manali as Rani-New Girl as Kajol-Aadesh obviously as SRK-Urmi playing Rani's daughter's role. Aadesh has lost Manali and now Urmi playing matchmaker for Aadesh and his old best friend in the coming days-with the only difference being Aadesh having loved his best friend instead of the other way around. Yuck. I hope I am proven to be guessing wrong in the coming weeks otherwise this may be the last time I'll enjoying analyzing for sometime.

-----

Feb 25th Eh I am not too happy today-actually not happy at all. A new (nice) girl intro'd??? I believe she is the actress who played Meera in Kasam Se but am not sure of her name.

It was cute how Aadesh walked back to the garden and asked Urmi if she was happy now-oh how easy to tick catty woman off :-)

I am definitely not looking forward to this Ahuja uncle and his daughter (I presume that is who she is) especially as her and Urmi have already hit it off. The only positive note is she has already unknowingly been made aware of how fond Urmi is of Aadesh. Aside from that I am sure the elders may just see this as a pair made in heaven (second time round that is). From the way she spoke it seems like she has lost someone as well so that in itself may have her and Aadesh hit it off.

The two catty women should be gone tomorrow but looks like this Ahuja uncle and his daughter will be sticking around. Uggh-I take it that means a third wheel in the U-A pair.

My guess is if they don't bring this new girl from today's episode and Aadesh together then she may serve as the catalyst for bringing A-U closer. Not sure how I like that either though. Not happy with this A-V episode/twist after a long time.

On a different note can I just say I love how Aadesh tells people how it is and doesn't hesitate putting people in their place at all. Not many male characters (even leads) can boast that trait.

-----

Feb 24th Initially when I scanned the episode I was really annoyed that Aadesh agreed to meet this new girl. But what an amusing episode. Seriously!!! First things first-I am glad he cleared up to Manali (and his conscience) that he is agreeing to meet this new gal only on Urmi's insistence. Therefore he has no intentions of anything aside from meeting her (not that we doubted his intentions or anything)-this just takes how much he really does love Urmi to a new level. He wasn't willing to meet this girl for anyone else including Kripa but he budged at Urmi's insistence. He really conveyed his feelings well and showed how difficult this whole thing is for him---especially the few silent semi-uncomfortable moments when Urmi comes in to take him downstairs to meet the girl.

I think the whole scene where the family meets the catty mother and her catty kitten was one of the best in a long time. It was so amusing and really foreshadowed a lot. Urmi took over the entire scene and it was almost as if she had come to see Aadesh :-) Love how she came down arm in arm with him, fixed his tie in front of everybody, made his tea and stuffed that penda down Aadesh's throat (there goes Vishal's diet). The BEST part was how uncomfortable everyone else looked with this and how Aadesh was at complete ease. The rest of the episode the poor guy looked so uncomfortable and the rest of finally was smiling from ear to ear but that one scene he (and well Urmi too) was the only happy one---too bad no one else in the family seems to see what really makes him happy.

Am glad catty kitten already has started showing her true colors from day one. I hope before they kick these two out of the show Neelam gets a taste of her own medicine. Imagine Aadesh and Tarun having to tolerate these two in the house together-Kripa would probably take sanyaas and leave!!!

For once I am glad Urmi got 'told off' by that girl-it showed her right then and there that woman isn't no Manali. I wonder how long it'll take before these two are out of the show-hopefully not too long. Aadesh's little meeting with the girl was pretty amusing too-love how he told her straight up that he still loves his wife dearly and he is meeting her only on Urmi's insistence. And the best being when she asks if he would hold Urmi's opinion over his wife's (did I not mention this yesterday?) and he without hesitation promptly told her what Urmi's wants is what will happen :-) :-) :-)

I am still really curious about how they will eventually bring Neelam's world crashing down on her and shatter her dreams and in the process make our dreams come true. Don't think I can take much of this annoying mother-daughter duo so hopefully not too much waiting.

Blooper: I could've sworn that when Neelam tells that girl to make tea for Aadesh she doesn't say 'Priya' but says 'Urmi' I could be wrong...

Editing Error Alert: Today in the scene where Kripa is telling Neelam to sit with Priya and she will get the chai the mic is visible above her head.

-----

Feb 23rd Wow I felt today's episode was definitely a test for Aadesh. I don't ever remember in the past where Urmi had asked something of Aadesh and he even thought about refusing for a second. Though today of course he was on mark standing his ground-I just hope it stays that way and he doesn't budge (tomm's preview didn't make me very happy). Kripa is right from her perspective but I don't think she is looking at the bigger picture. She is on mark about wanting to see Aadesh happy but she isn't seeing that what she is asking of him is not going to make him happy. If he were to marry again she will just leave the man torn between his responsibilities towards his wife and his deep attachment towards Urmi. Imagine if after he marries he wants to to check on Urmi at night like he does right now-don't see any wife putting up with that for very long. Or if he wants to take Urmi out along with his new wife. Or would Urmi even be staying in the house any longer? I doubt it-so both would be living in different places unhappy without each other.

Urmi is being manipulated into this and it really is sad that in a way it is intentional and in a way its not. It's not that Kripa has bhadkao'ed Urmi but nonetheless she really doesn't know what she is being asked of. The way Urmi is being told of Aadesh re-marrying she is under the impression that this new wife of his will be just like Manali and will be accepting of Urmi as the 'third member' of their relationship. Reality is far from that. Even before with Manali being blood sisters with Urmi more often then not it was Aadesh who understood/defended Urmi---even against Manali a couple times!!! I was wishing Aadesh would've brought up this point to Urmi today when she asked him to break his promise. (Very nicely shot scene-nothing OTT makes it all the more emotional---it broke my heart when she told Aadesh that she only troubles him all the time and if he marries then his new wife will manage to give him happiness.)

Also I still don't understand this growing-up business and in the process how it is supposed to distance Aadesh-Urmi. I mean if she grows up that will change her mental mindset not her heart. These two are bonded by the heart-so how is her growing up going to change anything??? And Urmi dressing nice and serving all breakfast is not growing up-there is so much more to it. And if it is like Kripa seriously believes then I hope Aadesh (actually he better!!!) turns right back on them and asks if she is grown up enough for him to just marry her.

I loved how when Aadesh returned from work the whole gang (minus Tarun) was waiting for him-poor guy walked into his own house walking on eggshells (didn't even ask about Urmi's whereabouts with the whole mandli staring him down).

I am glad Tarun doesn't indulge in Neelam's antics but it also isn't much better that he doesn't care for this brother's happiness either way (it was hilarious how he taunted her for watching and aping Hindi serial vamps)---Neelam blabbed to him her intentions of bringing in some random girl so she can then rule the house and he didn't say anything about how in the process she may be ruining his brother's wife. So far Neelam is 2-0 in this Aadesh marriage mission with first convincing Kripa and now working in Urmi on her side too so I am convinced that when this whole thing finally does flop on her it will be a nice big bang-can't wait!!!

Am not too thrilled with the brief preview-I will definitely be very unhappy this week if he agrees to see this new girl for Urmi's sake. A girl is allowed to dream though so it would be nice if he said he agreed to marry(hinting Urmi)-just not this girl that Neelam has brought ;-)

Feb 20th No episode but just had a few thoughts. The more and more I think about it I realize the real 'fun' will start after Aadesh marries Urmi. Him deciding to marry her and marrying her will be dramatic but then once they are back at home married things will really change. The whole living situation at home will change and the boundaries will be so different. Right now for example Aadesh stood up against buaji for Urmi wanting to sleep in his room. Once they are married it is almost a given and a non-issue if they share a room (though I don't really know/think they will in the beginning). But then the battle within himself begins. Fighting against society and cultural norms no longer will matter because people will no longer care-it'll actually get tougher for him because he'll face an internal conflict. The fight won't be with anybody else or even with his proximity to Urmi-but the drastic change in his relationship to her. I am really looking forward to those episodes and I am sure A-U's amazing chemistry will add to the fun!!!

-----

Feb 19th I love episodes where things are resolved in an episode or two. I was actually expecting Urmi to do something more drastic and embarrassing but what she did I don't actually blame her for. That lady got what she was asking for. What was even more surprising was the way Aadesh handled the whole situation. I was afraid Tarun or Buaji would yell at Urmi and in the process Aadesh would too. But he didn't yell at her at all. I actually thought he gave Urmi the benefit of the doubt and was just trying to figure out what had annoyed Urmi.

Neelam just doesn't seem to learn that her antics don't work though she does manage to get away with them time and time again. She has gotten Urmi in trouble many a times in the past but she's gotten away with it with only Urmi and Aadesh knowing what the truth is. I think several times in the past even Manali didn't know what had happened.

A-U make-up scenes are adorable!!! I love the fits that Urmi throws at Aadesh that usually end in 'mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni'!!! She sounds so cute when she ends her fit with that line and turns away. I actually thought maybe Kripa might be in on this scene in the background but she surprisingly wasn't. Urmi's insecurity really shows as she asks him time and time again to promise he won't leave her side or he won't marry etc. She's unknowingly setting him up for the time when he'll finally decide to marry her and thereafter never leave her side (or at least that's my guess).

I wonder if they will actually introduce a temp new female character as this Neelam's friend. If they are going to I would imagine it would be within the next week or at the max two weeks. Things almost feel like they are at a standstill right now going in circles-I think it's time they really should move things forward a bit.

-----

Feb 18th Ahh and the drama continues. First off why did they show Urmi showing off her old clothes to Aadesh again? I thought he already saw her in those yesterday at the dinner table when he issued his (now cancelled) ultimatum that from now on he will decide for Urmi.

Neelam really amuses me at times (alright actually most of the time) -how did she plan to keep Urmi from attending the party when she lives in the same house (I guess ideally she would lock her in a room-imagine the wrath she would face from Aadesh then). Though I thought it was cute-funny how Aadesh-Urmi weren't even there when Tarun was surprised by everyone else---instead they made their own separate entry (I was almost waiting for one of the guests to make a snide remark about how the jija-saali look like a pair). Also kind of cute that they matched-who knows if it was planned by the writers/director but it stuck out to me.

Buaji made sense today and whatever she pointed out to Aadesh today about letting Urmi grow up made sense but his dilemma too is understandable (how long can he keep her away from preying guys, etc.). He definitely seemed like he still has his reservations about this whole grow-up Urmi mission. Especially since I don't think Urmi cares either way-she has made it clear that she doesn't care what she is (grown up or a kid) as long as she doesn't have to part sides with Aadesh (Aadesh's reaction was right on when Urmi told him this-that she didn't care either way as long as she could be his friend---each time he realizes a bit more how close to her heart she really holds him). Though I do think the same buaji that is so happy with Aadesh giving her credit for convincing him to let Urmi grow up will grow to resent/regret what she has done in some time.

Contrary to buaji I can understand Kripa's serious concern regarding A-U. Though buaji does see that these two are close I think it's Kripa who really understands how deep and strong A-U's bond indeed is. At some level I think she already knows buaji's plan is only going to backfire on them in the long run. (I know I've said this before too-but Kripa's scene today just re-established the fact.)

I have to say the extras sometimes kill me-the guys hitting on Urmi on Monday's episode were like clowns and today Neelam's catty friends. I DIED laughing when that friend of Neelam's showed Kripa a picture of some gal for Aadesh and Urmi chuckled that Aadesh would never marry this girl. The kiddo is definitely more sensible (and funny) then the so-called adults sometimes. It's definite that Urmi will take the bait from Neelam to avenge her dost's insult but I just hope eventually Aadesh does figure out whose doing all this is in reality (remember when the mangal sutra was missing and Neelam had gone after Urmi---eventually Aadesh had set it all straight and made her apologize to Urmi).

Btw Aadesh must dream about this Mr. Sharma---there was that Mr. Sharma on Monday that he took the phone call from and then today introduced Urmi to a Mr. Sharma too. Must be his fave client ;-)

I hate when the episodes end with no preview-I wonder if that means something dhamakedaar tomorrow to end the week.

-----

Feb 17th Should've figured after yesterday's adorable episode today would be a heart wrenching episode. I am glad though that Urmi is back to her old self. The new look really was too forced and uncalled for at this point. A change of clothes can't change her mindset. My heartbreaks for Aadesh but it breaks even more for Urmi. She is so helpless and vulnerable and above all oblivious to the fact of people trying to take advantage of her both at home and outside. And Buaji still doesn't seem to get it-her antics are only bringing A-U closer and making Aadesh all the more protective of Urmi (it leaves me speechless when I think about how he is willing to fight the WORLD for her or actually he already is!!!)---unlike buaji Kripa is noticing all this-I think Kripa understands her son and unconsciously fears because she knows if it comes to it he will take any drastic step necessary to protect Urmi. Buaji's already taken him to a point where today he declared that all decisions about Urmi will be taken by him and him only (loved Buaji's shocked/irritated face btw). Wonder what it will take to push him over the edge and decide to marry Urmi.

I love A-U makeup/sorry sessions. Both are willing to take all the blame on themselves and redeem the other in the process. Aadesh's asking Urmi to stay the way she is makes sense but I think in the long run he may just be the one who will insist and help her grow up. I am glad the writers are building on the tension to lead to Aadesh marrying Urmi instead of having one dramatic episode all of a sudden where he decides to marry her. Building on it block by block will make his eventual decision seem right on and appropriate on his part.

Am actually more interested in tomm's episode-tomm brings in those people that buaji is so worried about (in this case Neelam's friends there for a party). Should be interesting to see how Aadesh reacts to the way they taunt Urmi.

-----

Feb 16th What an absolutely adorable episode-Urmi's expressions in this episode were so cute not to mention Aadesh's reactions to her innocent tantrums!!! I am glad that it wasn't anything close to as dramatic as I was afraid it would be. I guess we are so used to those shock effects and camera twirls in other serials when somebody is introduced in a new avtaar but here it was so subtle and appropriate. I think Aadesh's reaction was right on and I am glad he was happy not only for himself but for Manali too. Too bad buaji couldn't have seen that reaction. It was nicely portrayed with first Aadesh going to talk to Manali after seeing Urmi's new look and then Urmi going to talk to Manali before she headed out with Aadesh (I wanted to go hug Urmi when Urmi told Manali that Aadesh told her she looks just like Manali---then she thinks for a second and backtracks saying she could never look as good as Manali).

I wasn't too sure what I made of what Aadesh told Urmi today several times-that she looks like Manali and later on before they head on their 'date' (close enough to an innocent date in my books) he tells she can slowly learn to behave like Manali too. In one way it's good but in other way it's being ingrained in Urmi's mind that she is to try to copy Manali. That takes away from her opportunity to become her own self-she will be caught up in Manali's shadow. I wonder if that foreshadows trouble later on. If she is constantly trying to match up to Manali she is only bound to fail and disappoint herself. I hope eventually Aadesh clears up with her that she definitely shouldn't lose her own identity while learning to be like Manali.

The whole last segment was the best!!! It was really well thought out and presented-the waiter referring to Urmi as Aadesh's 'madam' completely took aback Aadesh and it's so ironic that to Urmi I think it probably didn't mean anything. It was the same when he asked them to go join the other couples on the dance floor-Urmi was completely oblivious to the reference of couples dancing on the floor while it struck a chord with Aadesh. (I won't lie though-I got a good laugh when Aadesh saved himself from an Urmi insisting to dance by telling her the food has arrived. Also when he tells that random dude that Urmi won't dance with him.) This is exactly what I was referring to last week with buaji's schemes. Did she really think that by dressing up Urmi it would lessen the burden on Aadesh and supposedly solve whatever problems there are with societal norms? He is actually caught in more of a fix now with a nicely dressed Urmi being mistaken as his wife. And this was just the waiter-the people that buaji is scared of haven't even seen this Aadesh and Urmi together yet. Though buaji/Kripa just dug their hole deeper because I am quite sure now Aadesh can easily (and will) argue that if Urmi is grown up enough for them then she is grown up enough for him to marry her instead of someone else.

On a side note-the scenes today were so cute. And they definitely have struck a right chord with the casting-these two have amazing chemistry. I love Aadesh's expressions/reactions to Urmi's innocent mannerisms.

-----

Feb 13th There is no episode today though I am not sure why Sony doesn't up it to a five-day week for this show. Isn't it one of their forefront shows? I hadn't watched the preview when I originally posted the analysis yesterday but when I watched it afterwards I realized Urmi isn't wearing the same clothes when Aadesh walks in that she is wearing in front of buaji/Kripa/Neelam. I wonder what the deal is. Also when he does walk in and find her there I really hope it's a nicely dressed but still bouncy Urmi that greets him. Whoever this girl is that is supposedly being introduced obviously isn't a big shot telly actor because I am sure otherwise it would've been in Telly buzz/news somewhere or another (unless it comes out this weekend).

Thinking of all the possible scenarios that will lead to them eventually marrying it would be quite amusing if Aadesh turned to buaji/Kripa and asked what would be wrong in him marrying Urmi now that they have supposedly helped her grow up. They wouldn't be able to refuse either way---if they say she's not grown up to marry him then they admit having failed helping her grow up and therefore he still has to take care of her---if they do persist that she has grown up and can take care of herself then he can insist she is ready to marry. Win-win for him and lose-lose for them. (And just imagine Neelam's reaction to this turn of events!!!)

-----

Feb 12th My heart really broke for Aadesh and Urmi but I can't help but get annoyed with the elders of the family at the same time. I mean really how long has it been since Manali passed away? I am glad Aadesh stood his ground (kudos to this guy for being one of the very few male characters in Indian tv who manages to always stand his ground) and told his mom it won't happen---though when he said Urmi will be the only girl in his life because he will take care of her I wish Urmi had been there to hear that-poor thing would've been relieved.

It was really cute to watch Urmi check up on Aadesh to make sure he hadn't forgotten his promise about not marrying again (I wonder if it will confuse her when he marries her-won't that be breaking the promise then? LOL). I knew she wouldn't let him live it down ;-) I do wish though that Urmi wasn't being manipulated into thinking she is all grown up because she dresses like an 18 y/o and manages to walk in heels (hasn't Urmi already dressed up and looked pretty for things in the past???-sure she looked 18 y/o but that doesn't mean she acted it). It will definitely be a reality check for buaji (hopefully) when Urmi still is at least somewhat her bouncy little 8 y/o self. She walked out dressed up to show 'dost'-clearly no 18 y/o would walk out dressed up to show off to her jiju or call him 'dost' for that matter. I'd be really disappointed if they show a complete change in her mannerisms/behavior/maturity in an episode!!! Totally illogical.

Poor Neelam-always manages to dig her own hole. Well her and Buaji. For someone who thinks as much as Buaji does I'm surprised she hasn't thought of the possibility that if she succeeds in beautifying Urmi and helping her 'grow up' then it could just push Aadesh closer to Urmi and eventually he may just marry her nonetheless. Making Urmi grow up isn't going to diminish the attachment A-U hold so I'm not sure what exactly she is aiming for (I don't know maybe help her grow up and then send her packing to go back home???). People would actually talk more if they were to see a well-dressed 18 y/o Urmi spending time with Aadesh. I doubt just because they would no longer live under the same roof they wouldn't spend time together.

On a last note-it was so cute to watch Aadesh banging on the door waiting for her to dress up and show him. She seriously has him wrapped around her finger-imagine a room full of board members waiting around because Urmi is taking her time dressing up ;-)

-----

Feb 11th I love A-U scenes but today's highlight had to be the scene where Buaji/Kripa are shopping for dresses with Urmi at home and Urmi asks if she'll look better then Neelam after she wears these dresses---Buaji chuckles and tells Urmi she already looks better then Neelam!!! I died laughing when I heard that. Again today Buaji asked Urmi if she didn't want to grow up for Aadesh...it really is Buaji's doing though that is convincing Urmi that she'll be able to take care of Aadesh after she 'grows up'. They are leading the girl on but yet expect her to keep distant from Aadesh at the same time.

I am not sure what this new female lead is going to do-I really doubt Aadesh will marry her. He is so set on taking care of Urmi and not marrying that it won't make sense for him to change his mind. Since Urmi got him to promise today that he won't ever marry again if he even thinks about marrying again she definitely won't let him live down his promise.

The whole changing Urmi thing (that too so quickly---a new look on the 16th???) really is bogus. She has been leading this lifestyle for a long time and has this set kid mentality. How can she magically transform into a 18 y/o gal? Physically they can teach her by changing how she dresses and her mannerisms but that doesn't change her mental state. Aadesh was right on yesterday when he told them that by changing how she dresses they can't change her mindset.

I am sure (or at least I am seriously hoping) this new article is just to throw ppl off. It would be way out of character for him to agree to marry some other girl (voluntarily/involuntarily). The athvaan vachan still ties him to his first wedding-it would be really odd for him to go into another marriage knowing that he still has Urmi which keeps him tied to his first marriage.

Had to add on: The one thing I really don't understand is why it's such a big deal in Indian serials for somebody who loses a spouse to re-marry and that too so quickly. Usually elders are wiser but I really don't agree when it comes to this matter. It is possible that the person who lost their spouse is content living on their own with the memories from the past. And usually these elders spring it on the widow/widower so fast too!!! I mean really how long has it been since Aadesh lost Manali??? He is just barely getting used to living without her and he's already being asked to think about settling down with somebody else? He is still getting used to taking care of Urmi and just 'living' again and baam they are ready to have him hitched again. There was another serial on Sony 'Paar Is Dil Ko Kaise Samjaiye' and I remember I used to think the same thing then too.

-----

Feb 10th Looks like things will move quickly towards Aadesh marrying Urmi. Usually whatever Neelam taunts Urmi about that is the very thing that tends to happen next. Today with her taunting Urmi about how there's no one who will take on her burden and fill her maang with sindoor---which means someone will soon :-) I am glad Aadesh set Buaji/his mom straight about their 'experiment'-the way they are teaching Urmi really isn't doing her much good. Honestly I think buaji would probably succeed if her intentions were more innocent. Her determination to separate Aadesh-Urmi by hook or crook is a little over the top. When he used the word 'experiment' I actually felt really bad for Urmi-she really is completely oblivious to the fact that people in fact are 'experimenting' with her.

Urmi filling her maang with sindoor was of course innocent on her part but I can't help but think some part of her does have a innocent crush on (you know that little kid type) Aadesh-she always looks to him for approval. And today in her own way she wanted to look good and grown-up for him. It's really going to get interesting after he marries her-changes the whole dimension and their relationship will definitely never be the same again. Well at least for him because I doubt things will change for her married or not. Aadesh is really gonna have a lot to deal with at home too then-Kripa isn't going to be happy at all-Neelam probably won't let him live it down either.

-----

Feb 9th Hmm so the marriage card will come on the floor tomm!!! Buaji's ancient mentality is really annoying and that's probably what is going to push Aadesh to marry Urmi. I thought today's last part was really cute and funny-when Aadesh walks in and Urmi welcomes him the expression on his face is like 'oh boy ab kya hone wala hain?'. Looks like Buaji will use Kripa as her shield to throw the marriage card at Aadesh.

I was actually wondering yesterday about whether he would marry Urmi before or after she 'grows up' but then I realized there would really be no point in him marrying her then because she would be able to take care of herself and choose who she loves and wants to marry. They obviously wouldn't show the two falling in love with each other and then getting married-that would be a way controversial jiju-saali marriage. I am guessing that the ad they show with Kripa pulling Urmi away from Aadesh at Manali's funeral pyre is actually going to be Kripa now asking Aadesh to keep his distance from Urmi. If he does marry her then that really means there isn't much use left for Buaji then because Aadesh would take over and help Urmi 'grow up'.

It didn't take that many episodes after Manali's death to bring up Aadesh's re-marrying (typical Indian style no?) so I assume it won't be too long before he decides (probably on impulse???) that he is going to marry Urmi.

-----

Feb 6th Yup there is no episode today but I still had something I was curious about. I hope some of you guys are reading this and can reply to help clear it up. There is an ad on Sony where it's a shot of Manali's funeral and Urmi runs up and hugs Aadesh who holds her. Someone taunt's Aadhesh-Urmi and Aadesh's mom comes and pulls Urmi away. Is this something foreshadowing what is yet to come? It doesn't make any sense because to date she is really supportive of Aadesh taking care of Urmi. I wonder if the ad was a fluke or if she too will end up going against what Aadesh is doing.

-----

Feb 5th Ok I figure it would be easier just keeping it going on this same post- I think Aadesh really is just beginning to understand the complexity of the task he has taken on to care for Urmi. I mean yesterday he yelled at her and today he made up. I guess he is still trying to figure out how to tackle it all.

Buaji cracks me up-she annoys me but she makes sense too at times though her thinking is definitely from the middle ages. I actually agreed with her today (agreeing with her at least once everyday-wonder what's wrong with me) when she told Aadesh that left to him he would like to keep Urmi the kid that she is. Then again he was right when he told her that the same situation of changing Urmi could be dealt with more love-care. Lol for our sheer entertainment purposes I would really like to see Aadesh take on Buaji---but then Urmi would really be caught in the middle.

We already know that he and Urmi will be paired together-I wonder if he will marry her before she grows up or after she grows up. One way would be him marrying Urmi right now to shut buaji up and keep her out of the picture. And slowly he could help Urmi 'grow up'. The other (which I guess would be the traditional Hindi movie/serial style) would be him marrying her after she gets better-eh. The second one sounds so bleh. I would much rather see the first come to think of it.

Feb 4th Wow-ok guys so this is my first post ever. I have been watching AV off and on. I watched it some months back and then took a break and started watching the episodes post Manali's death. What an amazing show compared to some of the other mediocre stuff out there. Personally I LOVE Aadesh and Urmi's relationship. It is so complex and out of the norms. Taking the latest happenings I think Buaji will actually help those of us out who want to see Aadesh marry Urmi. I am sure she with her antics will just push him towards taking that step faster. So while initially she annoyed me I really do think she will actually prove beneficial.

In today's episode he got annoyed with Urmi and while it is heartbreaking I think it's for the good. It will help him realize he can help Urmi more by letting her grow up and not always treating her like a kid. I rarely agree with Buaji but for once I actually semi-agreed with her. I really hope Aadesh's character isn't shown as indecisive where he does buy into the 'what will society say' garbage and stands his ground.

In today's episode he got annoyed with Urmi and while it is heartbreaking I think it's for the good. totally agreed with you... I do hope that Buaji will do something beneficial for Urmi, Aadesh and US!😃

11th episode was very cute. I think marriage will happen soon but Adhesh will end up marrying Urmi and not some random girl or the new girl will have a problem with Urmi and Adesh will still end up marrying Urmi. Either way it will be interesting to watch. Thanks for the analysis.

Gotta love the rare moments on Indian tv where we as the viewers have a win-win situation---either way he'll marry her!!! Come to think of it I guess it would be quite amusing to watch this new girl come and go because she doesn't stand a chance against Urmi.

Your anlysis for today sounds very interesting. I agree trying to change the way she looks is not going to change how she behaves and feels. I keep thingking also that what is buaji trying to do but I find it so cute that what they are doing is back firing because she keeps saying now that he is growing up for dost and she will be there to take care of him. That is almost a slap on buaji's face. All these ideas that elders are putting is just confusing her and making her more attached to Adesh..

And you know the funniest part is I think Aadesh at some level knows that it is backfiring. His expression of surprise each time Urmi tells him she will grow up for him so that she can take care of him just makes him all the more protective of her (yest golgappa time in particular).

The scene at the end today was the funniest/cutest after I thought about it. It was funny as it is but then when really thought about---she has two grown men standing at her door waiting for her dress-up playtime to finish so that Aadesh can see before he heads off to a board meeting ;-) No gal anybody would bring could un-do the U-A relationship.

Oddgal-- Your analysis left me stir-crazy in an absolute frenzy to quickly watch the episode online!!! It doesn't air here until about 5 hours later, so I'll be seeing this again, probably. Your analysis was excellent and insightful, as usual. I am so glad that I'm not the only one who's obessessing over this serial! Here, I am, grinning like a lunatic in a study room at my uni!!!

I really think it is that defining characteristic that I so admire about Aadesh: the fact that he's willing to stand up against society, no matter what it throws at him (think of the scene from a while ago when he banished U's friends' parents--that is so damn rare in a man.) I adore his principals, and I agree, throughout, it seems A knows how to take care of U more than anyone else, even Manali when she was alive. YES! I gulped a high squeal when A confesses that if there is a girl for him in this life, it would be Urmi alone. Oh my gooosh, he delivers these lines so well, without seeming too...well... diabetic. Ah, I guess it goes back to his principled self...he says it so matter-of-factly that makes it so swoon-worthy.

As for the loyalty, I think you're on to something. I realize that one of the most important things A is realizing with U is that he has to trust her, no matter what. If you will notice, it's because A didn't go with Manali that she even died...if only he had listened to her! As for the A-U scene in his room, U knows nobody will be able to replace M and I think A appreciates that. I love, love, love the adorable awkward tension in the air whenever U mentions growing up to take care of him! (But yes, I agree, oddgal, I don't think I will like them to be a blantantly romantic pairing...it sort of made me a little sick whenever A and M were oogling at one another. I like the subtlety in the A-U relationship, this unspoken comprehension of one another's needs.)

I can't help it; I am warming up to Bauji!!!! Okay, yes, the lady's intentions are wrong, and to some degree, what she is doing is wrong playing with U's mind as her social "experiment" but gotta admit that the lady is really taking a fancy to U, which comes across as relatively genuine, in contrast with all the snide bashing on Neelam. Bwahahahahah, maybe that's why I like her so much! Bauji's behavior towards Neelam mirrors every viewer's wish! Finally, the mean are punished in a show. Also, more on Bauji... I really don't think this such blatant, outward maturity for U was necessary as a way of detracting A from U. Simply speaking, I think it's rather cruel. If she REALLY wanted to seperate the two, she should've come up with a good school somewhere, where U could be enrolled and taught, physically AWAY from A (I know this would pose as huge problems; U might decline in health being away from A, but maybe Bauji could've convinced her that she was doing it to grow up for A? Who knows! What I'm trying to say is that doing it in front of A is harsh.)

However, the real question is also...is U really mentally impaired? Do we have a story about why she is so (other than the fact that she was a late-born.)? (Maybe I missed the episode... I think I've watched about 90 percet of them.) Maybe U is "stuck" in an 8 year old mind, because M thought it would be easy to raise her so? I mean, even for an 8 year old mind, she's very...perceptive, and eloquent (I know, I know, she has a freakin' script, but still! I don't see 8 year olds that mature!!! Atleast the writers should've stuck with the youth-thing!!!) At times, I feel like she has almost been conditioned by M to be this 8 year old self...though I am aware she's not the sharpest tool in the box (think back to speech episode.)

Yeah, this whole dressing business is not flying well with me. She dressed up for M's wedding, and looked cutesy with all those curls. I am guessing they're going to go for a more "womanly" look. I was pretty dissapointed in how the camera only checks out her body (emphasis on legs, hips, waist, chest *sigh*) and barely, barely, shows her face!!!!! That made me so pissed off!!! On a side note...that dress seemed like something I'd loooove to wear.

Sigh! I have no idea what they're thinking either that somehow making U grow up, will defer A from her. Honestly, this is terrible! I really don't like where this show maybe heading. I don't want her to change, I don't want her to be "grown up" and coyly bat her mascara-ed eyelashes at A. I see their relationship more as a very strong big-brother-little-sister bond...and their attachment in such a light really shines best upon them. (Okay, this is really random, I just realized it: I loved how they matched when they went to have golgappas...both wore purple. :D:D) Hmm, at the end of the day, what makes this relationship of sorts so delightful is the push-pull principal; Urmi pushes for A, A steps back, re-assess the situation, and pushes forth in his own way.

A waiting for U to come out was super super cute!!! I can't believe he was SO patient!!!

Okay, so my last thoughts: I don't want a full blown-out romance between A-U. I am not certain I want U to grow up, or rather, "mature" with thoughts of marriage, duty, and romantic love. I want the A-U relationship to have the depth and gentleness it posessess, because while we have seen a million stories of love, never does a serial show such a pure side. Moreover, I think it would be *wrong* for A to romance U, call me narrow-minded. Gaah...I guess, I want a more moderate side: for A to not take advnatage of U's devotion to him, and for him to recriprocate it by all means he can, and for him to know that she, like Manali, is irreplaceable in his life, and to him.

I like your analysis.
You are absolutely correct that Kripa understands A-U duo much better than anyone else. She is noticing very well how Buaji's plan is backfiring and bringing them more closer.
Buaji will be the one who will be repenting bigtime.
