I love Pallavi, such a sweetheart, but but.....Aadesh falling for her (or falling for her again) just does not bode well with me. I do hope that she helps him realize just how much he does care for Urmi, so much that it means more to him that his lost love, because Urmi is like his soul.

Or we are just melodramatic.

LoL
They've set up this serial so that the focus has always been on Aadesh and Urmi even in the days when Manali was in the picture. There were events time and time again when Manali would have a disagreement or be unhappy with Urmi and it would be Aadesh who would side with Urmi and help sort things out. It's really odd (and feels out of character to some extent) to bring in somebody who Aadesh has unresolved feelings for. It complicates the whole equation and as odd as it sounds (and probably over-simplistic and in turn unreal) but I liked the simple equation. There was enough depth in that with A-U's bond. I'm so used to saas-bahu serials having those love triangles and leads with unrequited love that it was such a welcome change in this show.

In the end when (and if) A-U end up together that'll still leave Pallavi alone. For a feel good show like this one has been it isn't going to feel all that good to just show her character leaving the way she came---alone. Honestly I feel they could've done without this new entry. There was so much to work on just with A-U. If he had married her (they could've skipped the typical over hyped dramatic weddings like in other serials) and taken it from there. So much to show in a post-married A-U. Would've been so interesting to watch. The whole change in the dynamics of their relationship over time would've held our attention quite well.

I'm guessing chances are even if his feelings do re-surface he'll probably manage to come past them and she never loved him anyway so it's not really an issue from her side. Or if she does develop feelings for him he'll be shown to be past his old feelings. Either way it's not a feel good ending for one of the three.

Btw forgot in my yap-that is right on-she really is 'his soul'-melodramatic or not ;-)

I was hoping this does not turn into something like other soaps but I guess that is the direction this is heading towards. No need for a 3rd angle. We just need the closeness and akwardness of Urmi and Adesh. Them fumbling toether to find a reason to end up with each other. They do not need another wife and a new didi. I just lost interest in watching.

Oddgalout--
Completely agree.
I hated this episode as far as the A-U bond was concerned. Urmi was beginning to show quite a bit of maturity. I feel like they're suddenly relegating her to the role of a child, perhaps to prep the Sneha-Aadesh relationship for the future.
If this is the Aathvan Vachan track, then seriously, I think I might have to stop watching this show... I feel like the title of the show will lose its meaning.
What was different in the M-A pairing was that A was ALWAYS concerned about U. Here, she is definitely side-lined, definitely almost ignored. Aadesh is pre-occupied with Sneha to a terrible numbness in his character.
Sigh! And I was looking forward to the development of the AU relationship especially with how A has been standing up for U in these past few episodes...

I think they will start off with a KKHH track and then digress in their own way with instead of Aadesh ending up with Sneha he will end up with Urmi who will be better thanks to the help of Sneha (and maybe Aadesh). Isn't that a tried plot back in the days of Jassi Jaisi where someone came as Jassi's godmother and helped her revamp her look. Sony tends to do this though-I've caught on to their trend of taking perfectly good plots and completely savaging them to the point where there is no redemption (forgive my harshness-this is just my observation).

Aadesh and Urmi have been through SO much together. They've been in each other's company and have been each other's support system even longer then Aadesh was with Manali. The idea that a third person is needed to help Urmi 'get better' and bring her and Aadesh closer is just so absurd. I don't see what a third person can do that Aadesh can't. A third person in the equation automatically lessens the emotional bond the two have with each other. It is really frustrating-had my hopes set on this show being gripping at least until the point where A-U do marry.

And the most frustrating part is how today Urmi essentially a was background character with Aadesh completely pre-occupied in his KKHH reminiscing moment(s) with Sneha. I guess Manali didn't cross his mind today. He looked semi-smitten all over again with Sneha's presence. Eww.

I agree that Sony ruins most of there shows by changing the main plot. Jassi was a fine example of that and so was Kaajal, they killed Babul ka Angaan. I hope they realize and get back to A and U minus Sneha.

After JJKN and a bit of Kajjal I had given up on Sony and turned to Zee/Star serials. This show's promos from when it first started had caught my attention and I was actually excited about something on Sony again. But looks like the same run of the mill formula. The only show I had stuck out and enjoyed on Sony was Paar Is Dil Ko Kaise Samjaiye (that and I somewhat enjoyed Kahin Diya Jaale Kahin Jiya).

Really Vigilantes Girl what you mentioned is what struck me today too-is this really going to be about his Aathvaan Vachaan after all? He looked so caught up in his past with Sneha. Does he really need somebody else coming in to show him how to nibhao his promise? If he does then his character really isn't all that it was built up to be. In the coming episodes if the three do be-friend each other it's essentially like Sneha taking over where Manali left off. I hope the two main characters don't lose the depth of character they've sustained thus far. (Somehow I feel what we're hoping is not how it's going to be in the coming weeks.)

I remember those serials. Some of the good ones from Sony before they started ruinging their own shows. I hope they realise and do not show Adesh as a weak character because so far he has been shown as a very strong and single minded person. If they were not going to pair A and U what was the point of killing Manali. They could have put her in a coma and then bought her back at this point.
