First not enough Marketing/Advertisment done
Second cCast was medicore except for Apruva who was great
Story was great but Leads and all the extras lacked the glamour and punch
Judges were like monkeys
You need not just a great story but strong leads, good production and want to show glamour spend the money

Agreed channel didn't market and promote the show well enough.

I think was some dip in terms of strength in story, but it's nowhere near bad or even average. This is still a good show. And compare it to a lot of other shows on Hindi television, it's a very good show.

The channel didn't want to stick with it. I really thought this channel would've given it a chance. I guess not.

The bottom line is this show thrives on human mind understanding with different problems faced and how emotional baggage deals with a person who wants to surface their dreams and make a place in the world of glamour and pulled in with the back drop back end fabrication of reality show
According to me audience is not prepared to understand these types of shows and the character dx narrates these happenings with that
The show has had its advertisement , the audience who relate to dance reality shows and what is the crux of its functioning and how things are manipulated in the name of trp or recognition is shown
Patience in understanding such shows is needed and viewers need to be broad minded to grasp new forte of entertainment with infused drama
Well if there is any change in mindset shows like these can be rewarded
And people who see reality shows with deep unstanding can dwell with Asa
After watching this show I will scratch my head to really sit through reality shows or even commercial shows which thrive on masala and trps 😊
Asa is an eye opener in every league according to me 👏

The PH is a big one who made CGM and who would dwell into somthing novel, Give me one PH which would look into depicting concepts like this with the backdrop of drama behind reality show and connect it to how instant fame is achieved...

The whole idea of this show is to show many angles which deal with the reality show and how human mind works when they want to fulfill their dream. The show is not too loud and melodrama filled yet it brings in the drama to be addressed at its point with angles.

Sadly audience sees other aspects and surfaces them and not look into its depth which causes the lack of viewership

This is a good show, but it is true. It lacked the punch. I only watch it because of Apurva. His acting and portrayal of DC is what makes this show.
If only the ensemble was good enough. Before I had time to connect with Meenakshi's impoverished situation, BANG, she was out of it... the bond with her family needed to be explored more (in my opinion)...even the auditions went too fast...some focus should have been spent on the other characters to give them a backstory...For me, it jumped onto the next part before I could immerse myself into the current bit.

But, I still watch it. Only for DC. Rajesh Khera is wasted in his role.

This is just my view, I was really excited for it...novel concept...Apurva...I was disappointed.

Perhaps there are others who felt the same as me too. We can't just label the blanket "everyone who doesn't watch this show wants the gheesa peeta saas-bahu stuff"

Cheers!

APurva wanted to work on bring out the backdrop of reality show the show is different since its not based on the regular shows but it is infused with drama this drama is more playing with peoples mind and confidence, Reality shows have certain limited scope and most of teh times they are plugged in the weekends. Here the pace of teh drama is more verbal conversation twisting people's mind manipulation in to bring out your inner weaknesses out ..
I am not sure what teh audiences are looking at with shows all the time, shows like these run at their pace and they show these criteria,

The show is more for the new generation who strive to become famous and conspiracies of mind and plotting of ones intellectual property is the crux of this show ..

The back drop of reality show needs new breed of people with someone who can get everything together, Apurva made an attempt to show that and his role is the driving force of the show, Personally I loved his character how twisted it may be or how grey they want to show they show the facts on how one thrives through emotions to reach fame and how they come across mind boggling and twisted paths..

Drama in reality shows is trying to be mapped here, be it love blossoming between contestants, contestants throwing verbal accusations at each other, connecting to audience through favorite jodi or fav contestants..

Now if I see the other reality shows they will all seem dramatized after watching the back end drama influxed by ASA..

Its an inspiring show overall but peopel fail to get the crux the larger audience on a whole and thats where the cause of viewership lacks and channel take such decisions..

No room for inspiring shows looks like with the Indian audience..

Maybe such shows should be pulled online only atleast it will be catered to all over the world.. Me living in US was really happy to see such a show from India and the backdrop the texture everything looked novel and for this gen ...
