I think they are changing it becuase most likely the leap would have taken by then. And after the leap the show would have very little children audience and more adult, so a late night slot is fine.

I think a leap is taking place within few days, as the last day for Antara and Abhishekh's shooting was Oct 30th.

I agree and guess what I am one of those kis desh fans emailing Star plus and I was soooo shocked😲 to see AKA have a change in the time slot. Clearly all channels only and only want ratings and they clearly do not think about their viewers but now all channels want a rating of 6 or higher that even if the show has decent ratings, the show will have a time change. I am so digusted by all these channels. I actually left Star plus and joined Zee tv. 🤢 But now will definitely join you guys as well to email Zee tv. this is sooooooooooooo annoying to see a good show like AKA have a 10:30pm time slot. Even though with the leap, the time slot is too late for the show and I watched Na anna is desh online and that show will definitely take all the ratings.

bidaai was supposed to be made by the bharjatya but at the last moment they dropped out due to differences with the channel. but they did all the ground work on the show and also its inspired by rajshri movie vivaah hence they are thanked in the credits. both bidaai and yeh rishta are made by rajan shahi who has no connection with the rajshris.

thanks rit...SP unknowingly did AKA a favor moving Kis Des. Its replacement sajan ghar was dumb. i hope this move of Zee's doesnt backfire on them and again star plus gets an upper hand thru tere mere sapne. i think AKA can compete better with TMS which is also an issue based show.

I have full faith on Production house that it wouldn't fall for TRP.Even Monish himself once mentioned that AKA is a finite show & will have its ending as per planned.The best part of the show is story has been developed before going to the floor & It is the execution which being altered a bit due to requirements of plot.I hope the show gets an ending with in say 250-300 episode...

yeah opti...competition would be only from Ladoo at the 10.30 slot. but going by the same logic wouldnt yahan main be able to make a mark in the same slot more easily? AKA is already a habit at 8.30 PM...why break it? I agree with skepti that Zee simply wanted to give a safe slot to Yahan Main since they would get AKA viewers by default. while AKA will again have to re-establish itself in the new slot.
btw opti i like the idea of a show ending in 200-250 episodes...that would be ideal!

guys the competition is tough everywhere, on every time slot. If AKA continues to be a good show, then it will definitely get the TRP's. Because remember a lot of new people are going to start watching the show after the leap as well. So it should make up for the loss.

Just enjoy the shows, and I don't think it's timings will change in US or elsewhere outside India.
I think yahan mein ghar ghar kheli will launch at the 8 PM slot in the US, which is currently occupied by that old serial kahani shuru with love guru.

thanks for your reply and Star plus is dumb and so I was so glad to see everybody watching AKA since the show is soo original and a beautiful concept that no other channel has ever tried doing. Zee tv's move will now definitely backfire and give an upper hand to Star plus and so I'll definitely be emailing even more to Star plus and also Zee tv gets added to my list. but seriously Zee tv is second in Tam ratings before Star plus so I don't really care about Star plus. 😃

yep...zee is second because of hatke shows like AKA and Agle Janam. unlike star plus they didnt get tempted to model all shows after CB which was their most successful show and promote 1-2 shows at the cost of others. zee promotes all its shows equally unless its a new launch.
