[Part 1]
Hideout
Prasad declines Anuj's offers and proclaims that he will take revenge from Abhinav Tarneja only. Just then, Prasad's companions enter in haste and inform Prasad that the police have arrived. This infuriates Prasad as he tells Anuj that he shouldn't have done that. Anuj tries to hold him back but Prasad and his companions shove him and flee.

RS reminds Manju that she very well knows he is against superstitious beliefs. He adds that he is going to contact the same doctor who cured his paralysis. Manju folds her hands and whimpers, "I beg you; please allow this marriage to take place. We will never be able to forgive ourselves if something happens to Simi." RS is about to walk away neglecting Manju's plea when he suddenly pauses and turns around to face her, "Manju ji, it is better to find a solution now than suffering lifelong. But' why am I sharing these words with you? You will never understand. 12/24 KB used to be full of dreams and expectations and now, it's full of turbulence. No Manju ji. This cannot be the solution to this problem. Never!" RS walks away. Tears roll down Manju's eyes as she wishes that she could tell the truth to RS.
Simi's room
Neetu is sitting on the bed near Simi and Manju is standing nearby. Neetu is concerned to learn about Simi's sacrifice to save Abhi's life. She questions, "Who else knows about this truth?" Simi answers, "Bui, Rajjo, mother and now you." With moist eyes, Simi reveals that she had no other option but to lie. Neetu hears the innuendo in Simi's voice and realizes that Simi didn't just fall from the terrace; she jumped. Simi closes her eyes helplessly. Neetu emotionally questions, "Can't there be another way out so that Abhi is also safe and you two don't have to separate? Simi pessimistically shakes her head. Just then, Manju gets an idea.
[Part 2]
Manju explains, "We'll have to convince Bui and Rajjo. When 'mangal dosha' is detected in someone's horoscope, then usually the person weds bargad (banyan) tree first. Similarly, if we don't consider Abhi & Rajjo's marriage a sacred bond but simply a custom; a ritual'" Just then Bui and Rajjo enter the room. Manju, oblivious to the fact that they are listening, continues, "Then we can get them married secretly and assume that the marriage never took place. And Abhi and Simi can live happily together lifelong." As Simi and Neetu are trying to decipher, Bui expresses shock. She furiously confronts Manju, "Is marriage a joke to you? Your daughter is important to you while my daughter is being considered a banyan tree. I agree that I'm facing hurdles to get my daughter married but that does not mean that I get her married to someone's husband. Since it was a question of Abhi's life, I couldn't deny. Knowing that Abhi will never accept Rajjo, I didn't refuse. Bhalla was ready to marry my daughter but I had lost my mind that I came to your aid. We may be illiterate but we're not foolish. I'm glad that I became aware of your true colors. Now this marriage will NEVER take place. I don't care whether he lives or dies. Let's go Rajjo." Simi, Neetu and Manju are stunned. Simi immediately stops Bui. She asks for forgiveness and pleads her to allow this wedding to happen. Bui answers that she will approve this marriage on one condition and that is if Simi and Abhi divorce by tomorrow. Simi is petrified.
[Part 3]
Bui continues, "After divorce tomorrow, you better take a vow in front of Goddess that you both will never communicate with each other." Manju becomes panic-stricken at Bui's demands and asks for sometime to cogitate. Bui tells her that she can take as much time as she wants but her decision is final. Bui takes Rajjo away. Simi is in despair.
At night, Simi is sitting on her bed, pondering. Abhi joins her and asks whether she took her medications. Simi nods. She then asks Abhi, "You aren't feeling guilty by doing all this, are you?" Abhi replies, "What do you think? Had it been the opposite and your horoscope stated that you were a threat to my life, how would you feel?" Simi helplessly closes her eyes. Abhi begins to caress Simi but she pulls his hand away. Abhi wonders what is wrong and whether she is in pain. She shakes her head in agreement. Abhi wants to know where she is experiencing pain. Simi rests her hand on her heart and says, "Here; Here is the pain. Abhi, I can't bear this anymore. You will have to divorce me." Abhi is flabbergasted and can't believe what he just heard. Simi continues, "This isn't easy for me either. We will have to break our relationship. You are getting married to Rajjo and this is injustice to her." Abhi explains that he is Simi's husband and will remain hers forever. Simi hysterically expresses that it is not her will to separate from him but the sooner they accept the truth, the better. Abhi, with tears in his eyes, says "This may be the truth for you, Simi but I can never accept it." Abhi pleads her not to become distant towards him. ðŸ˜
The next morning, Neetu notices RS leaving and she offers him breakfast. RS declines and tells her that he is going to his ayurvedic doctor in hopes that he offers a cure for Simi. Manju comes near him with aarti but RS furiously avoids her stating that he does not believe in such things. He tells her that he never declined earlier because he did not want her to be upset but what she has done with Simi and Abhi has enraged him. He walks out.
Simi's Room
Simi and Neetu are sitting on the bed. RS comes in and offers some ayurvedic medications to Simi. He tells Simi that the doctor encourages them not to give up. RS reminds Simi of the time when he was stricken with paralysis and no doctor had a solution for him but he fought the ailment courageously. Simi requests her father not to worry too much about this matter. 😕 RS answers, "How can I not worry about this? If someone my own is in trouble, I have to worry. I can understand why Abhi agreed to this marriage but I am shocked to learn how could you approve of it? Do not ruin your family due to some superstitious belief, dear! Listen, ultimate decision will be yours. I can only guide you." RS caresses Simi on her head and leaves the room. Simi ponders, "I am troubling my father so much. He is completely heartbroken to hear that my days are numbered." Neetu replies that RS would've felt the same had he knew the truth that it is not Simi's but Abhi's life is in danger.
Rajjo is placing rollers in her hair and guides Bui to hold the mirror in a certain direction. Bui tells her to hurry up as her hands are tired. Rajjo remarks, "I want to look gorgeous like the modern girls. Don't I resemble Mallika Sherawat?!" Bui retorts, "A leopard can't change his spots." 😆 Rajjo frowns, "Well, I can atleast try." Bui ignores her. Rajjo continues, "I want to look very beautiful for my wedding but what if Simi and Abhi don't divorce." Bui advises her to speak optimistically, "Abhi and Simi's divorce will definitely take place. If it doesn't happen then Abhi will be behind bars because it is illegal to have a second marriage without breaking the first. And he will definitely not take that risk." Bui pulls out divorce papers from underneath her bedcover and tells Rajjo that these papers will bring Abhi closer to her.
In Abhi-Simi's room
Abhi enters and notices Simi trying to comb her hair with difficultly. He sits next to her and gently combs her hair. Simi gets emotional but tells Abhi that she can do it herself. Abhi wants to spend as much as he can with Simi. He recollects the moment when they first met as Simi was trying to escape Bhalla. Simi corrects him stating that their first connection took place at the temple when Abhi unknowingly rang the temple bell at the same time as Simi. She adds that although she was not sure at first it was Abhi but when he touched her for the first time, she could sense the familiarity. Both Abhi and Simi share another emotional moment as Abhi expresses, "How will we survive without each other?" Simi replies that they will have to. They both have an eyelock when Bui enters with the papers. Bui tells them that their divorce is not bringing her any felicity but she has to do what is best for her daughter. She tells them to take as much time as they need to decide but sign the divorce papers. Abhi is in shock.
