Even I am angry at the portrayal of abhi. But logically and realistcaly I understand that why abhi was shown supernan before experiencing real life and then shown messing up most everything as an immature inexperience person handling real life hard ships.
No one has to agree with me here . But for me this is the most realistic situation we are getting the way they are showing a normal 22 year old/
For him to apologize to simi and not letting her was a cry for help and sorry for being harsh with her and sorry for messing up and may not be the sorry for you were right and I was wrong.
His word were sorry I hurt you so much. that was his love compelled her to do that.
Young man his age get upset angry real quick and cool down at the same speed coming to their loved ones with the sweetest apology. It also proved the niceness of him for taking that first step.

Just read every ones post now before it reaches to some other place thought let me just write:
As of now we most of the loyal viewers are still stuck to Karol Bagh because of the initial epiodes which was written and shown well, as of now also the inspite of the story having loop holes we viewers watch the show coz of the actors who are wonder full and htey really bring life to the show. Be it Ms. Smiriti and Simi, Mr. Neil and Abhi, Ms. Hunar As Mili, and the others........... they all do a wonder ful job, its because of their acting that weget annoyed rt we love the character . what so ever or who so ever it is.
As of me i dont watch serials or other shows, i just happened to see this show, once and seeing the acting of Smiriti and Neil and Abhia nd Simi, I quiet liked it and then read the story of this show and realised its a story of an older women falling in love with an younger boy.
I agree thecvs have not yet shown us as to y Abhi fell for Simi and vise versa , and has left to assume a lot , but as of now its understoood that Abhi feel for simi , for her simplicity, her kind heatedness, her, love for her familiy, .as till now he has no problem with simi being like this, and i think as far as he dosent have any problem with simis behaviour , attitude and looks i dont think we should bother much.
Also i dotn think unnecesarily we should call simi all weired name , or say that she can
go and sleep with any damn man , and she has pnly her virginity to give Abhi and nothing else.
I feel these are all absured and not required, even if these are the fictitious characters.
If we cannot digest to see this show i dont think we should watch it then rather than writing things which are not required and making other viewers seeing this show think this show is not worth it and then they loose interest in it.
Also each and every person has their own likings and views so i feel its better if we all can just express it ............nothing more than that.
About abhis character , i agree that they are spoiling his character also ,as first they showed him as the smart and intelligent character but now............ i feel they are showing him like this as he has a lot of problems now, first he diddnt have problems at all he was a happy go lucky person, hence he diddnt bother much when he fist met Bhalla at the sthi Niwas. so he just blantly told him, as of now things have changed a lot... Simi is his wife, to make matters worsre she hid a vary big incident fro him, so he got annoyed with it anf ran to bash up bhalla, . they have show his anger at times ....... but we diddnt take it into much consideration as we knew what he was doing is right . Today we feel that the cvs are degrading him , they are just trying to show that even abhi is not a perfect guy, he can also make mistake, but att he very same time they are showing that he has realised his mistake and he told RS thats its his mistake and also told simi sorry, I dont thi nk there is anything wrong in it. And aslo by saying sirry to simi, they are trying to show he dosent have an ego clash in him , and he feels what he did is wron. and thats it there.
Any ways we have to expect more and more masalas as they require TRPs and with out that their show wont run.
\ii think by now most of them might have understood what the indian viewers want in a show, and thats how the trps are increased and we outside viewers are not included.

How is anything that has been shown as logical and realistic when it is completely in contrast to the original basis of his character? How many 22 year olds do you know who run around the street like stark raving lunatics? Sorry but the behavior was completely ridiculous. Can you site examples within the storyline to explain this logic and realism?
What does he need to "cry for help" in this storyline? What does he need help for? Can you explain where all of this is coming from?
The only thing Abhi can apologize to her is for hurting her but Simi could have apologized to him for hurting him for keeping things a secret instead of justifying it and that would have been a far better dialogue.
You can forgive the CVs and you can look for excuses for their actions but I don't forgive easily for a botched up storyline and neither do I look for reasons for their diabolical actions.

i am still learning the process of getting to know that writers, producers can be contacted and suggestions can be given. No open support was sought for supporting the writers of the show. By the time I learnt that the story has deviated from its original path, it took me time to figure out writers have changed. And I am taking help from my junior to understand how facebook works and how messages can be sent. And i am continuing my requests that way.
Contacting Zee office at Mumbai, sending an individual to meet the response team guys to hand over the suggestions personally and sending mails to zeeresponse is all that has been happening for a while though it has not been disclosed too often in the forum. I am still learning and finding ways of reaching the organisers to raise concern.
And I do feel that there is surely an attempt by the creative team to change and include things which the viewers are wanting.
The patching up issue between Abhi and Simi was fairly decent according to me. I liked it. I have posted my views on this link https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/12-24-karol-bagh/1410651/nice-abhi-simi-patching-up
My attempt at analysing is believable for me and I just expressed my views.
Now the mess the CVs had done with the story, there is no way the damage can be undone now. For the mistake on their part, I am willing to forgive from my end and willing to give them a chance again to improve the show. Changes cant be done overnight. So a few episodes wait is all that I am ready to take.
Regarding demoralisation of Abhi's character...here again the damage is done by the writers. But I have justified Abhi's actions too. Here again I find him as a normal person who reacts based on circumstances and not be the picture perfect unrealistic Abhi who is always right and sane in doing things.

Facebook is very easy to use. And why do feel the need to justify Abhi's actions? THe storyline was botched up - you admit that they have damaged the character. Why not leave it that? Why do you feel the need to find out a reason for it? Normal people do not behave in the way he did and certainly not in the manner that he was originally written. The character was changed overnight and the CVs can change the show overnight as well - why do you need to make excuses for what they are doing? They do not care what you or I or anyone else has to say unless it brings in good ratings.

Again these are assumptions - nothing in the show has indicated it. You're drawing your own conclusions and they are based on your opinion of the show and not on actual incidents. It is not understood that Abhi loves Simi - it has been forced down our throats to accept without question.
Also i dotn think unnecesarily we should call simi all weired name , or say that she can
go and sleep with any damn man , and she has pnly her virginity to give Abhi and nothing else.
I feel these are all absured and not required, even if these are the fictitious characters.
Why not? I cannot see anything else that she has given him except some medicine to treat his burns. Can you tel lme more?
If we cannot digest to see this show i dont think we should watch it then rather than writing things which are not required and making other viewers seeing this show think this show is not worth it and then they loose interest in it.
Also each and every person has their own likings and views so i feel its better if we all can just express it ............nothing more than that.
We can watch and we can write how we feel. If you are swayed by my views it means that they hold substance. My views should not have such a huge impact unless they do make you think. If the show can stand on it's own two feel then it should hold your interest regardless of what I have written. Do I have that much power over you to change your thinking? 😉 I am flattered at the power you ahve given me, I only wish it worked as well with the CVs.
If the scene worked for you - great - accept it but when you start seeing it again don't blame me. You know full well what you saw and you cannot ignore a pebble in your shoe.
Any ways we have to expect more and more masalas as they require TRPs and with out that their show wont run.

Ssree, I still watch the show because to me it is like a bad train wreck and I am curious to see what they're going to do. I want to see who they plan to take the storyline. I have accepted that the Simi Abhi storyline will be one of the most shoddiest pieces of work in history.
If you LOVE the show for what it is, NOTHING I write here should sway you😃.

The apology that Abhi had to make was VERY poorly done. Look at how beautifully it was conveyed by SVG in her fan fiction. I even forgave her for having Abhi cry! Sure Abhi had gone overboard which was also totally out of his character, and to add they had him look like a moron by getting himself fired, failing to show up to rescue Mili, telling her to keep it a secret, blurting it out in front of everyone and then giving Simi the upperhand in the end to justify her reasons for keeping all a secret. THIS was not necessary. And what was so bewildering Simi got angry at Abhi something she has NEVER done with her family. Did you even see her once get angry at her family when they denied her the chance to be with her love, Abhi?
I am not going to look for excuses to justify how the story line was written and what was done was a shoddy job. So far I have not read a SINGLE good arguement as to why Abhi loves Simi and the fact is there is NONE because nothing in the show was written to convey it. We are told to "assume" it and I think that is an insult to me as a viewer.

Agree with you but remember that in her FF in the recent one they both had a shelter with the news reporter, the apartment .. with the court marriage were written (not the mandir pheras without any fire or the Head Priest) to make it validated & legalized...and on that note we were all bewildered for the whole week if at any point this marriage will be declared annulled ....
to have them married in the court MADE SENSE TO ME !! with the way abhi's character is written to be the sensible and mature and foresighted and perceptive protagonist..Just loved it...

Laila you must be running out of tissues by now with the way his character is written recently!!

Totally agree with this scenario of him being portrayed in this idiotic & imbecile behavior and may be not called for but Laila that is what sells and not the logical and make sense dramas.
They had to do it to go with the T.R.P and To stay in business and to raise their dividends at their viewers and at the story's expense.....and when one of us viewer called them to object to this asinine and birdbrained drama they are dishing at us their reply was to just watch it as an entertainer and not to get to close to comfort and look for logic in it.....HA HA HA HA

And what was so bewildering Simi got angry at Abhi something she has NEVER done with her family
Simi is just having the upper hand here and I agree to show first the angry Abhi and then the apologetic Abhi were not connected very well...
Now you are trying to make sense out of this whole scenario and that ain't happening not for the current track and it never made sense earlier when the electrocution scene was shown for an I.I.M graduate and never made any sense when the utter nonsense was shown in the wedding fiasco either....but we all lived through it ... Now the issue to ponder upon with this statement is Why did Abhi forgive Simi and at the same time When the logical, reasonable guy like Rajinder Sethi also forgave Manju Ji in the same episode without her asking him for forgiveness after all the bulldozed turmoil that one character put the family through ..?...I mentioned in another post the NEWTON'S law is in effect here!! Like mother like daughter!( and here the apple is right under the tree)or could be the creative's law of apologies in effect here is a possibilities?

Not very many I agree . But then I have seen my own brother running after some one with hocky stick at that age and bunch of us running after him
Laila if you lived in city in india these scenarios are not uncommon. they may be rare but very possible.
.
In state of mind abhi was he could have even killed RB. So yes it is unsual but not unrealistic.
Yes cry for question will come up as i had to leave house for a while/
.
Cry for in the sense I need you, I need your support and that is what every spouse need in the event they think this is it , I can not handle it alone anymore
. Abhi tried to handle job, Mili's situation and RB mess all at the same time and could not. In job situation he was provoked to be angry and upset and act out both days. First day his boss's comment about simi and next day seeing RB there calling him bachcha has already made him angry and the worst was his boss's comment. Any calm man could have exploded in stiuation.
Abhi will never ask in the sense I need your help, yaar he is man. Men usually don;t ask for help they always think they can handle all the situations.
Yes abhi hurt and I think that was one of the reason he apologized and other may be that he made a mess of mili situation. hurting both mili and Nitu. abhi is a good person who wants to help his loved ones not hurt.
I know CVS has messed it up big time. By putting abhi thru so much when RS is incapable. Technically he is the head of the household because of Simi. But then they could have had anuj handling some burden . But no they had to throw everything on abhi along with bunch of villains like RB attacking him personally. So yes they have messed it up big time to raise TRPs.
I am not looking for reasons to defend CVS but then I can see what they are trying to show.
They are trying to show young man going thru trials and tribulations after marrying older woman and playng a role of her husband becoming a head of her house hold making his life a mess in process and trying to reslove issues at hand. that a man of house hold is suppose to reslove and grow up in the process.
and that is exacty what the show is about young man marrying older woman and winning all one by one by his actions.

mesimi,
Thanks for letting me know of this post of yours. I read your post and most of the replies too. Though I do not agree to everything Laila has written, my comments to you would have been close to what she has written. I thought just hitting on the 'like' button on her post would suffice. But I found several posts which I did not agree to. I debated on where to reply to you and finally decided on to here because I wanted others to read my views too.

This show started out very good, totally unusual from the rest that were on during those times in this channel. I remember telling someone it is such a beautifully written show, very simplistic and required some intelligence to watch the show because of the sensitivity with which they were developing this story into. Needless to say I was attracted to the show and used to look forward to the coming episodes. What started out in a consistent manner got its 1st breakpoint when they overnight changed Abhi & Simi's ages. Though we could identify it, we moved on bcos we loved the show. The next major breakpoint which was much more shocking was Abhi's confession of his love. At that time I had written a post https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/12-24-karol-bagh/1300227/the-dis-connect . We still loved the show and moved along.

It was much later that I started to maintain a single thread called "My Thoughts" where I tried to justify a lot of things. Some of which I see in this post of yours. When I began reading, it said "Let me first try analyzing Abhi's reasoning for loving Simi ", it sounded very promising. I do not want to go into details, but am sorry to say, a lot of those points are totally from Simi's perspective and nothing that says why Abhi loved her.

When a story writer writes his story, he should make sure he conveys everything that he wants to via the characters. This can be done by several ways either by a voice over, by making the characters think, by making other characters talk about this character, or making that specific character(s) talk. In all these scenarios, dialogues are very important. Its via these dialogues that the story writer tells what he wants to, to the viewer. When it is left unsaid, it leads to ambiguity. Yes, to a certain extent one can assume, but to what degree? Since this is a fiction and not real life, it is entirely the writers responsibility that he doesn't lead the viewers into an ambiguous state. If he does it, then he is either not capable or he doesn't care about his audience. Just because I like a show does not mean, I would go ahead and "see" more than what is shown.

After so many months of Abhi's hurried up confession, their marriage and the follow up treatments to both the characters, it is only clear that the story nosedived from the moment they changed their ages and made Abhi to confess to Simi like the way they did.

After several months, I am at peace, when it was confirmed from someone who was involved in making this show that some of us who pointed it out were correct all through.

I know that even with our disagreements for a show, we would remain good friends. Good Luck with your efforts.
