I know some people who are ferociously calling the Zee just to check the TRPs and the others who care complaining to the Sun shiner's on a daily basis to improve the show..AND IF this not passion ,dedication and the devotion on the part of the viewers for any given show on Zee T.V. then I don't know what is..???But this is the love for the show and not the AMUSEMENT part of it that drives them not to accept the mediocre story and not to give up so easily..... even after all the roadblocks put in their way....berserk and bonkers may be...................... but HOPELESS ...Not yet !! And when that happens this forum would be DEAD and pushing up daisies..!!

SaniCo, I wish someone had started a petition and complained about the horrible treatment of Abhi's character in the recent episodes. It was such a horrible departure from the young guy with whom we all fell in love. It such an insult to his fans and it was done because the CVs had goofed up with their decision to have Simi keep the RB comment a secret. It totally backfired on them.

Abhi's character was presented as warm, confident and reliable. The decisions he made were based on common sense. He was never protrayed as explosive - we can see this in how he reacted to the RB situation in the beginning. He used his wit and charm to out manuver him - just think of the night in the Seethi household when he brought down RB a few new notches with his comments. And then, how he advised Simi NOT to keep her attemped rape a secret. His urgency was there and that same urgency was sorely missing in recent episodes.

There are a number of 22 old year guys I know in my community and I remember my brother and his friends at that age. You can find mature guys who are smart and intelligent - have it together and are confident. My friends have sons of that age and I have cousins too. To suggest the recent explosive behavior of Abhi was typical of young men is ridiculous. The behavior of Abhi was nothing other than of a stark raving lunatic and for someone to consider this behavior as normal seriously needs to reconsider whom they are basing it on.

One of the actors (will not disclose gender) in the show also told me to expecting to see any changes - the goal is for high drama and that is it. Also, this actor told me that the CVs head has changed once again and this might account for why we are seeing so many changes in the show and how it has veered from it's original design. EVEN the team of directors have changed. Just look for yourself on the credits.

Yes Laila,

Its not a state of denial. There is always hope for the best. Not listening to a single original writer is different from changing the story in response to public demand. Me and few others have been working at it to let the channel know what is public opinion regarding this. And definitely I will struggle to get us heard. I am not in denial.Its optimism. For me its not just another show among the list of Tv serials on Zee or any other channel for that matter. I have spent time and energy in the last nine months. So I wont give up in despair.

At the end of it, even if things dont change, i wont have regrets that I did not try.

And the font size was not intentional for responding.Since it was just a single line reply below your paragraph I changed size and font to distinguish. I will edit in original too.

Actually listening to the original writer is a big thing when it's that person who wrote the show in the first place. The people who were involved with the show don't care for creativity - they care for high drama - that is what sells. Had the public been able to support this writer then, perhaps we would NEVER have seen the show descend to what we see today.

Your repeated attempts have not changed the show - have they? We've seen the complete and utter demoralization of Abhi's character - a total change than how we originally saw him - he's become an utter embarassment. The patching up of their conflict was so poorly written it was enough to make me drown my sorrows in a bottle of antacid.

I would NEVER discourage you to give up and respect your perseverance in trying to find a change and your attempts to look at the show from a completely, although unbelieveable, angle in order to like it and forgive all the trespasses the CVs have taken with the storyline. '

By the way, your response was in blue, I am sure I could have distinguished it from my own writing😆.

First of all let me say fantastic post Mesimi! I have to say good point from Ssree, Sanico, and ofcourse Krisha. Having said that.......Let me add a few of my thoughts........

I love the way that Abhi and Simi love story is progressing. That does not mean I may be happy with how the whole story was handled. At the same time I feel what they are showing is how a 30 year old woman who fell in love with a younger man handles her love life and how she handles a love she is not used to getting. Simi is not a bad person she is just a person who does not know how to express her feelings towards Abhi. She does every once in a while give us a glimpse of that love. She may not always make the intelligent decisions but that does not mean she is doing everything against Abhi or to hurt Abhi on purpose. Infact she feels what she is doing is good for Abhi and for his well being. That does not mean she is right but she thinks she is doing right by Abhi. She loves Abhi to no end and she will one day learn how to show him! She is learning and it is a slow process.

Abhi know Simi loves him just as much as he loves her and that is why he is able to forgive her so easily and love her unconditionally. He knows that "his" Simi is a good hearted and sweet person who does not know the ways of love life and he is more than happy to teach her and do it using all the bagootar way possible. I happen to think that in all the other serials the love shown between two people is very expressive but yet those couples are always betraying each other in one way or the other...As far as SimBhi are concerned they may not show all the lovey dovey stuff all the time but their love is deep enough that they only do things that will make the other happy.

Couldn't agree with you more so we are in conformity here ...Abhi part was written with no logic and without any prior evidence on his characteristic. and to ruin his character and to butcher the dear Abhi we all know and loved (not me of course)..And this was the bruised part in the last couple of weeks show.....And Laila just for your delight...the appeal team had the appeal all set in motion to send it the Zee and along with the Sun shiner's but ALAS they took another whirling twirling turn and changed the track again at us the very next day but that motion is still underway to take action...and much thought was put into this appeal also.....
Now this undisclosed person you keep talking about ??It would help if the names are out in the open so anyone can get their viewpoint and their take on this high drama out in the open.....??wouldn't you agree that would be better ..😍

You are telling me someone tried but never could get the petition out? That's disappointing as there was time to get it out there. I am amazed no-one even complained?!!? I wrote to the CVs and told them what I thought but my guess is that those people who are in love with the way the story is progressing do not care. Viewers want the couple together regardless of how badly the love story is written.

The complains were done from all fronts and the petition was on its way to be posted but Laila this was a failed cause when they had already written Abhi's character again to forgive Simi and on top of it to go ahead and apologize to her in such an emotional and effecting way....
Laila let me go on the record here I have never claimed to be Abhi or Simi's fan but I am in entirety the 12/24 Karol-bagh fan and if one character or the track does not make sense and is written in such a way that the logic,coherence and the argumentation are missing it effects the entire show and regardless of any one character not written properly this show gets doomed and hopeless & I for one don't want the story to be sacrificed to build up any one character or to RUIN any character as well..

Ultimately we the viewers are AT THE MERCY OF THE CREATIVE'S and can only appeal and call them to do better!!

SaniCo, I AM a Simi-Abhi fan - I loved their romance in the beginning but I don't live in a state of denial as to how I see the story progressing. I am not happy with the whole treatment and I say it. I also do not expect a change at this point. That episode was just another nail in the coffin.

The apology that Abhi had to make was VERY poorly done. Look at how beautifully it was conveyed by SVG in her fan fiction. I even forgave her for having Abhi cry! Sure Abhi had gone overboard which was also totally out of his character, and to add they had him look like a moron by getting himself fired, failing to show up to rescue Mili, telling her to keep it a secret, blurting it out in front of everyone and then giving Simi the upperhand in the end to justify her reasons for keeping all a secret. THIS was not necessary. And what was so bewildering Simi got angry at Abhi something she has NEVER done with her family. Did you even see her once get angry at her family when they denied her the chance to be with her love, Abhi?

I am not going to look for excuses to justify how the story line was written and what was done was a shoddy job. So far I have not read a SINGLE good arguement as to why Abhi loves Simi and the fact is there is NONE because nothing in the show was written to convey it. We are told to "assume" it and I think that is an insult to me as a viewer.

Laila,

i am still learning the process of getting to know that writers, producers can be contacted and suggestions can be given. No open support was sought for supporting the writers of the show. By the time I learnt that the story has deviated from its original path, it took me time to figure out writers have changed. And I am taking help from my junior to understand how facebook works and how messages can be sent. And i am continuing my requests that way.

Contacting Zee office at Mumbai, sending an individual to meet the response team guys to hand over the suggestions personally and sending mails to zeeresponse is all that has been happening for a while though it has not been disclosed too often in the forum. I am still learning and finding ways of reaching the organisers to raise concern.

And I do feel that there is surely an attempt by the creative team to change and include things which the viewers are wanting.

My attempt at analysing is believable for me and I just expressed my views.

Now the mess the CVs had done with the story, there is no way the damage can be undone now. For the mistake on their part, I am willing to forgive from my end and willing to give them a chance again to improve the show. Changes cant be done overnight. So a few episodes wait is all that I am ready to take.

Regarding demoralisation of Abhi's character...here again the damage is done by the writers. But I have justified Abhi's actions too. Here again I find him as a normal person who reacts based on circumstances and not be the picture perfect unrealistic Abhi who is always right and sane in doing things.
