In the US episode (US 3/23), as Simi ponders anxiously about how to raise finances for her dear father treatment, who's she gonna call... (not Ghostbusters, I had to throw that in just because - if you're my age and in the US, you'll get the joke).
ABHI - yes ABHIđ.
And what does our Simi do? She let her mind wander worrying about Anuj and whether he has a job or not. Simi clearly forgot that just a few months ago she was about to marry Rajeev Bhala? Now, fortune shines on her and she's with someone who is far better looking, with a better personality and character, a nicer smile and an awesome set of teeth.
Poor Abhi asked Simi to dance (probably the first time she's been asked to dance) and said "I love you" and all Simi had to force herself to smile and hold herself back from frowning and bursting out into one of wailing moments. O Simi dear Simi, if only you knew how many women were waiting in line to take away your Abhi. If only you'd wake up and smell the coffee (or tea) before it's too late. Abhi type of guys don't grown on trees and your appreciation of him is downright disappointing.
So, anyway, Abhi came to the rescue; not only does he find a way to foot the bill but he also makes sure that her father got the treatment he needed. And of course, there is not a SINGLE thank you uttered from Simi's mouth - I know, I have seen the three episodes ahead and she has said ZILCH. What an ungrateful character the writers have created, how on earth am I expected to have sympathy for her when I see her treating her husband like a second class citizen.

Let us just recap, what had happened a few hours earlier...(flashback)...
Abhi is the very guy whom she just jilted on what could have been her suhaag raat - yes, that was supposed to be the night - the beginning of their new life togetherđ. Simi insulted him; she showed not the the slightest appreciation for what he did.
Once again our hero Abhi went all out to make Simi happy. He planned a romantic dinner with soft lights that maked the dabba room look so inviting you'd actually want to rent out the plane for your next anniversary dinnerđ. And what does our Simi do?
