Does Simi not have the ability to take a stand? Is not her commitment to Abhi and his family important? Doesn't she not realize that her rokha to Abhi is not going to be kept a secret? Somehow, somewhere some is going to say something? What's it going to look like with Simi accepting someone else's hand in marriage while being engaged to someone else? Manju doesn't give a toss. I doubt she'd even care what she's done after she sees Omi.
After having defended Manju's actions in the past, all I can say is this is one heartless b@#%$ and it's sad but there are mother's like her all over India who think they're doing their motherly duty by forcing their daughters to marry men they don't want under the pretense that it is for their own good.
Well, I am truly disappointed with Spineless Simi. But what should we expect? I would have loved to have seen Simi say: Neetu, I didn't get myself pregnant, why should I marry some guy on the condition that you'll marry his brother. You want to be an unwed mother, be my guest. Embarass yourself because Abhi will marry me whether you marry Omi or don't.
Watching the pre-cap, oh how I wish Abhi would have said, OK, marry Nukul. If Simi your khandan izzat will take precedence over your love for me. Then go right ahead.
