She was insulted, demeaned and degraded. Yet, she said nothing; remember just last week she had a pretty good tongue when she had to hurt Abhi.
I am wondering if she regrets asking Abhi to ask for Anuj to return home for her ungrateful mother. After all she could have been with Abhi rather than possibly getting raped by some gundas after having being rejected by her family.
And what with poor Abhi? Slapped by Anita, nearly beaten up by Anuj, deceived by his mother and then kicked out of the house by Manju. It disappoints me that time and time again that in our society we are asked to respect our elders and yet when our elders are wrong - Anita, Anuj, Mrs. T., Manju etc - we are required to remain silent and take their abuse? It's a very messed up society when we cannot speak our mind. Abhi certainly made an effort to stand up for himself and Simi but in return he was considered insolent. That's completely wrong.
Talking of respecting elders, Simi the elder among all of them yet Neetu, Anita and Anuj are very derogatory towards her. Yet somehow it's OK for this behavior but not OK for people to speak when an elder is wrong. I am confused with all this doublestandard here. Is this Indian society or the creative team in action?

No, I don't think this is the current Indian society. There is no Simi in this world and I doubt if there is even Abhi. So, what the creative team is showing - self-sacrificing Simi, respecting elder eventhough you are getting 'killed' for it and not speaking out when elders are wrong, doesn't always happen in real life. What they are showing are extremes in every case, which doesn't happen in Indian society.

And I doubt if the creative team will ever make Simi regret asking Abhi to bring back Anuj into the house.

Manju is just thinking abt her SON !! yesterday the glow on her ace after seeing her son back was a scene to be seen not even once she though abt her husband or asking Anuj to go and apologize to him and return the money !!

In whatever condition it may be, she will be better off anywhere other than her home.

I don't think that is true. They are not extreme cases, just very rare cases. I think there are still people like Simi and Abhi. I for one can't hold my tongue in all cases like Simi but more often than not, I don't speak my mind. I will definitely not try to compare myself with Simi, I think her character is far superior (selfless and self-sacrificing). I'm just saying there are people like her in the world.

There are definitely good people in this world. I don't deny that, there are people who come close to simi, but I don't think there is anyone exactly like her. Like you say in your own words, you think you are like her but Simi is far superior. Thats the point even I am trying to make. You cannot find someone always self-sacrificing, I mean always and the heorines in the TV serial are always shown that way and they also show the arugment that the heroine is always right.
With the word extreme, I mean the creatives always show the positive to the extreme and negative also to the extreme.

and there are people like Anita taking advantage of the situation
I guess god has made everyone equal and have the right to think abt urself..
Abhi is trying hois soo best he is sacrificing his life and his everything at this age of 22 to make a 30 year old understand what is necessar for oneself !!
Simi u need toi be told that u need to take caree and think abt urself
In these times we have to give atleast 70% for ourselves and 30% for the rest of the world
Even her family members are also thinking abt 70% abt themselves and 30% abt others
