Yasu ... you're beginning to acquire shades of Daadi Dagar ... are you sure you wanna go down that dagar?

Don't you remember, her arrogance and impertinence when the Dagar entourage shows up at Sethi Nivas ... for the first time ... and she compliments Poppa S with "oh our late husband always said that shiny pated men are completely trustworthy, cause you can see right thru their heads" [yeah, sure eagle-eye ... pea-brain!] & then proceeds to chastise Momma S with "and he always said to us to trust unsmiling people about as far as you can throw them" [Hmmm. compared to you DD, she's a lightweight - which means you can throw her pretty damn far and can trust her with your ... uh ... life?!] 😔

sitting on the couch..watching a rehash
of our belov'd KB..i realized in a flash..
that miss non-committal is expressing her fears..
'midst ever continuing expressions of sorrow and tears..
her insecurities,her own myriad complexes...
are manifested in them defensive reflexes..
she seeks help..she looks for relief..
from that natkhat chitchor dil ka thief..
then pushes him away..'coz he's prolly too good..
for someone who is perpetually misunderstood..
she labours ..she tries..in earnest to gain...
her family's approval..alas! in vain...
mom's written her off..her brother..hmm..don't start me off!!!
younger sis in a mess..from which she seeks no redress..
and somehow..most all find her the one to blame..
and leave her in a state of perpetual shame
the youngest and pa are her only recourse..
other than our dear high on sighs!! of course..
with whom she can share her dil ki baat..
and dream of a zindagi shared saath saath
but on that zindagi's dream exists a blight..
the devil...ess who shan't wear prada..trying with all her mental might..
to keep the lovebirds apart..using her vicious , poisonous emoshional darts..
and please..lets not forget the dancing doll..
who's gone to her family farm(hopefully on some far away atoll!! )😆
she returns to betroth her fave grandson..

with a guy who is a really big clunk!!
so..this then is status quo..on our belov'd soap..
that causes us to laugh, grimace,gripe..and yep..mope!!

And like the way yasu and dipa need help in getting Over abhi=D) Are you sure you haven't been diagnosed with a rare rhyming disease??? This is a serious talent... Lol

the idea was that he was /is a clunker..as ..if he did land on his head(wish that circumstance came to pass) all u would hear is clunk!!..
and please...he so ain't ..of beauty, such a hunk..not even a chunk..should have been a monk..then this problem would be a non-starter na!!

Wait! You're speaking of Neetu & Vicky?! I was confus-ed because DD has been a tad reticent about the Neetu/Omi twosome, so that 'vision' did not creep into my head!! I thought you were referring to Abhi as being a clunk!!!!! Nono ... Vicky a beauteous hunk???!!!! You might as well call DD a wit!!

gosh!! by toutatis!!-haven't heard that in daily jargon since college days..yes i completely agree...monday's epi is gonna be a slide down the ski slope, with the accompanying long trudge back up to the proverbial summit..
hmmm!! no wonder i hate exercise...too much effort, it takes

Wow! Rani, that's some serious talent. By toutatis, I do need to hit the library for some Asterisk books. Brings back memories of weekends huddled in blankets reading those. Can't wait for epi on Monday though it's more with trepidation than anything else.
