You have highlighted the problems existing in the society. Its true that neighbours and general public are into moral policing. Such incidents I have winessed in my neighborhood too. Though there was much melodrama in the show, it showed the minds of a society in transition phase.

An individual is part of society.When as a mother, Manju is not willing to accept this proposal fearing society's disapproval, why would the society care. Change has to occur within the family first. When a family supports their children's decision, it would be like shutting up the society. The change would not be overnight. But change it must.

Regarding Neetu......Simi had waited for Vicky at the park, he did not turn up. She spoke to him over phone and suggested if he takes up responsibility she can talk to her parents and that they marry same week. When neetu is packing her bags, Simi tells Neetu that its fine Vicky saved you at the clinic but why did not he come and meet our parents. But Neetu doesn't understand.

You are right, mesimi, change is a must and has to start within.

Vicky could not turn up in the park bcos he was waiting outside of Simi's house as he had driven Nakul to 12/24KB while she was waiting for Vicky along with Neetu.

Actually it is Neetu who stops Vicky to take any help from her family when he suggest lets talk to Simi (just now wrote that in response to Shanti😊)

I remember that Vicky has told neetu that he had driven Nakul to their home and hence could not make it. But Neetu has not told that to Simi. Nor has she told Simi that Vicky is Nakul's driver either. Simi can't assume things. But by then Neetu is so much against her sister, that she cares less.

Yesterday Neetu has told Simi she is not against their love, why could not you support me then? Wish instead of joining hands with Anita, Neetu talks to Simi one more time. Our Simi has told her she will answer her queries. Hope they do. Issues can be solved only by talking. Hope some sense still prevails in that girl. She was a bubbly character before.

Probably she should take Simi, Mili's help to get married to Vicky without everyone knowing about her pregnancy. But she should realise her mistake also. Probably post marriage she can repent for choosing Vicky. But I want Manju to know about her condition. Manju will realise Simi's worth then.

Today's episode was even more simpler. It was just about Simi's shagun ceremony amidst supportive and non-supportive people.

Here are some of my comments on the happenings in the episode.

1. Religion is a very sensitive issue. Anything can happen in the name of religion in India. Useless politicians can make people fight in the name of religion for their own advantage and there are people who forget reasoning and become over religious in the name of religion (Remember the incident of Ganesha drinking milk some years back in Delhi!).
Religion is like a trump card. RS is a wise man, he used it for his own advantage , for the happiness of himself, his daughter and his family, but he was not hurting others.

2. Simi's reason to go ahead and accepting the alliance is - her mother in future will be happy seeing her happy. Yes, children also know that their parents happiness lies in their happiness.

3. It was nice to see Simi and Abhi sitting next to each other as an accepted couple. They looked so happy. Abhi looked as if he got a lost toy and Simi looked all blossomed in Abhi's love.
Manju sitting in front of them like a stone blinded by the tears brimming her eyes, unable to see Simi's happiness. I wanted to tell Manju, "Look, look Manju, look, wipe those tears and look at your daughter, can you not see how happy she is? What else do you want? Is there anything other than for a parent to see their child so happy?"
Later on when she says - all she wants is her children to go on the right path, I wanted to tell her, "Abhi is not wrong, you will come to know of it". Worth to note was Neetu's turmoil hearing that, her guilt of having done a wrong thing.

4. It was such a sensitive thing going on and I felt Neetu had the decency to cut Vicky's call. Later she confirmed it to me that she was not a bad person afterall. Girls will always be girls, they will never stop liking their parents home(the people connected with her maayka). They always worry about its well being. Like parents, children also are happy when their parents are happy.

5. Simi standing up against Anita and Abhi getting to see that side of her for the 1st time. Looks like Abhi officially being hers gave her the courage to take on Anita. Well, Simi, you need to remember this everytime you deal with Anita and people like her. I cannot call that side of Simi as the 'Kaali Avatar', bcos still she needs to walk a lot of miles in that direction, anyway Abhi does enjoy his new Simi, who will not tolerate her husband's humiliation from anyone.

6. Hope delaying the announcement of Simbhi relation to the Dagar family doesn't cause any other issue. Let it not become "tomorrow never comes" kind.

7. Would Neetu still elope to marry Vicky?

8. Precap - looks like Abhi wants to have some more satisfaction that Simi is his by doing the pheras in the temple before the actual marriage.(?)

For the highlighted points

1. Yeah I thought RS did the right thing using the idea of the Roka basket falling near Matarani and with that pretext no one could say a word and the Roka could happen smoothly and society could also witness it and they will shut their mouth and get back to their own business

2. Donno why Manju is like that I mean see her daughter she is soo happy and glowing and what more does a parent want and over and over again Abhi has proved himself consistent and positive and his love for Simi and he is quite mature to know things.

3. I wrote in another post I made whatever she said did'nt make sense where does upbringing fall in place when her son stole his dad's FB and NEVER bothered to say a SORRY to him or APOLOGIZE for ehat he did.. His dad was litterlally thrown and insulted at the bank and he never thought of giving his side of the story..Rubbish talk ofupbringing among her kids. She needs to view all angles before she gives such pravanchans

4. Neetu could have been a little more calm when she explains this to Simi she should now act fast and maybe take the help of Abhi also to bring Vicky in the house and ask for Neetus rishta. Simi alone it will be difficult to do it as now they have to tell Daggars and also the Omi proposal also is around for Neetu.

5. Simi was really in full form .. I hope she can maintain this and make Anita realise what she should do i.e. mind her own busniess and give her opnion when needed and not poison peoples ears Espically Manjus against Abhi !!! Simi needs to keep to this attitue of hers to fight in future from more Anitas and Anuj's around !

6.I just want RS to talk to Daddag Dadi and tell her frankly what ever happened and what he wants for his daughter Kaam katam and chapter shuld close.. Abt Manju bringing some tofaan I am sure RS can handle that also equally well

7. Precap I think they will go to Matarani's temple and Abhi decised to have a rehearsal wedding and may be this will kinda of their actual one also ..IF there is some Tofaan coming in later !!!

Anyhow the weekend seems good with their Roka done.. Nextweek Ka baad mai dekhthay hai !!!😊

Abhi looked so innocent, naughty and was in your words "admiring his prized possession."

Simi asking RS not to inform atleast today, there it shows even at that time, Simi wants to make her mom happy by requesting her Dad to do what mom wants. Simi is so kind towards her mom that even a small silly request of her mom's, she want to make it happen. She had slogged her whole of 30yrs making her mom happy and here was a mom who could not be part of this child's happiness .. how bad/sad can it get.
Though I was happy that Simi's shagun ceremony happened, I was really sad to see the other things and I think it was obvious in my update of yesterday.

You are right, till the actual marriage happens Simi and Abhi and us viewers would not be at peace 😊

Papa Tarneja looks like doesn't have a say at all 😆
