When Simi wanted to talk to Vicky Neetu cut her talk and said not to interfere into her life .. Simi wanted him to realise that he needs to take the responsibility even during abortion he turned up when she was abt to be forced to get it done.. Why did he delay .. Simi did all that she could to make Neetu understand.. Neetu should have persuaded vicky to come and talk to Simi or even when they met secretly on the terrace when he came to drop her He could have stopped and spoken to her
I hope Neetu realises that if Simi's ristha is done she should talk to her father and speak to him and tell him abt herself..
These are the people who are available dime a dozen, who fail to look at themselves and their problems and are totally instigatable by others to stand up and fight when it is should be no concern of theirs. However disgusted I feel whenever I watch/read such news, it was once again a bitter truth I had to face when I watched todays episode.

Much before Simi takes Neetu to get the abortion done, Simi talks to Vicky on phone who had just heard from Neetu that she is pregnant few minutes back.
Vicky and Neetu hadn't planned this and for him its a shock and he gets petrified. Now, Vicky is not a guy like Abhi (using other credit card, driving away with other car etc), he is irresponsible guy and he is not a bad guy either, but when Simi asks him to give an answer right then and there if he is ready to get married in a week, he doesn't, he get scared, first of all it is totally unexpected and she demands an answer right then and there, maybe he needed time (well, he def didn't think about that before doing the act), and for Simi time was precious in such case.
Because of that Simi decides to take Neetu for abortion. Vicky comes and rescues Neetu from the abortion and they go to park and when they are talking, Vicky tells Neetu lets talk to Simi, but by that time, too much damage has been done in Neetu's mind against Simi that she says no need to talk to Simi. It is after this Neetu starts to despise Simi and asks her not to interfere in her life.
Yes, you are right, in this case, Anita could have kept quiet. But Anita here is the representation of that so called 'moral policing' society.
Just think about communal violence that happens all the time in India. Some useless people with authority for their own advantage create issues and let people fight and there are foolish people who believe such things and fight and even get killed.
I think around 1996, there used to be a TV show called 'Reporter' on DD where they used to show real life crimes stories and one story was about 2 people - a young boy and girl, how the girls family beheads boy using the machine that is used for cutting grass and they lock the girl up in a small room away from family and starve her for few days before killing her. The reason - both were in love and family was against. I was literally shivering seeing that on TV. That was just an example. There are instances where people are paraded naked and beaten up and pelted with stones. Such things happen even now because of one or the other reason.
The thing is with the advent of satellite channels, all these channels are far reachable in the remotest parts of India and a lot of Indian population lives in villages who watch these shows. Though such issues happen in cities, such things are much more prevalent in small towns and villages. Age is still a taboo issue in those society and creatives are trying to thread a safe path by def holding a mirror against the society. It is one way showing what happens in those societies and also to teach people that the 2 people whom you love on TV are not doing anything wrong if they are willing to see that.
I know such things are very disturbing, but sadly we can not push the issue under the covers.
