It's rare that you come across instances of actors being mocked for their respective origins and religion, at least out in the public and up front. While that does happen rather openly on social media in comments and tweets, rarely do we come across actors paying heed to it.

That is also what has been the case with actor Vishal Aaditya Singh. The actor became one of the most-talked-about people last year and earlier this year owing to his participation in Nach Baliye 9 and Bigg Boss 13.

In a recent interview with Iwmbuzz, the actor was asked if he had to ever face casteist slurs or any similar. He said, ”When I had initially come here in Mumbai, a lot of people pointed out certain things to me which were essential to change in order to get work in this industry. But I have never let any stereotype bother me at all. I am a proud Bihari and I have never taken that as a derogatory word even if someone intended to. All those people who ever tried to mock me failed miserably. I talk in Bihari even now on my sets as well. I am never bothered and always positive.”

Indeed, that's the approach to have.
